  1. When the TV repairman got married the reception was excellent.
  2. That feel when you're playing a really good game for 10 hours straight (other than bathroom breaks) and you're still playing it and not even the slightest bit bored or tired of it.
  3. Nice I like how you included pokemon with good abilities plus I can see alot of potential combos in double battles with them (for my online battling I mostly do double battles)
  4. Funny thing that happened to me was when I beat the first gym on my first try with only one pokemon...my Butterfree (which I expected to go down by the first two pokemon)
  5. That feel when you started replaying a game you really liked years ago.
  6. So my wallpaper is basically FF when it was still good
  7. I'm not much for competitive battling but this is a tactic I've been using (and it works most of the time). Just use attacks that hit both of your opponents such as rock slide, heat wave and blizzard and as for moves that hit your ally as well like surf, sludge wave and earthquake, just make sure it doesn't affect it very much (the combination I like to use is earthquake while my while my other pokemon is a flying type) and suprisingly I've been winning majority of my online battles with just this.
  8. I think my theme would go somewhere along these lines...blue and mysterious
  9. Once you figure it out it's not that hard but I believe the part everyone was confused about was mainly the first pic followed by the second as the jump in the first pic wasn't really that obvious and was kinda hidden in the corner.
  10. No stepping on Legos is painful as hell, not worth it You are given the Death Note and it's powers BUT you must write a name down at least once a day or you'll die.
  11. Yes, I'll just try to eat 1/3 of the portion I actually want You can get laid with anyone you want, but the whole world will watch you as you do it.
  12. I laughed so hard, that I was Koffing while eating and swalot my food wrongly.
  13. Well on top of that I do also try to teach them moves that would be effective to the type their weak against along with moves of their own type and moves that fit their highest atk stat (special or physical) whenever posible e.g. in my trainer card Blaziken atk stat is higher than his sp.atk stat so all his moves are physical along with poison jab (since none of that team was poison type) to combat fairy types, same with tyranitar with thunder fang to combat water types and Dragonites Earthquake to combat rock types.
  14. Well when I first met Fern outside the factory he was a bit of a dick, then when we teamed up against Team Meteor he was like "look we got off on the wrong footing so let's start over and beat the shit out of Team Meteor" and I was like "ok cool man, you're cool". And then when you went to challenge his sister he was like "you're not good enough, I'm doing you a favor so just leave" and I was like "wtf?" ever since then he just became more and more of a grasshole *wears bullet proof armour*
  15. So basically whenever I plan out a team (on any game) I tend to pick pokemon with double types and each pokemon types would be different than the others so I would end up with 12 types (leaving out 6) in a team. On top of that the pokemon should at least be fairly strong and a pokemon that I like, plus I generally don't take normal types mainly because no types are weak against them. This was pretty difficult before but the new fairy type made it easier to make a 12 type team, so here's some of them that I came up with (along with the team on my trainer card). My Reborn Team: Blaziken Fire/Fighting Gardevoir Pyschic/Fairy Aggron Steel/Rock Noivern Flying/Dragon Swampert Water/Ground Victreebel Grass/Poison Other teams: 1) Charizard Fire/Flying Slowking Water/Pyschic Gengar Ghost/Poison Shiftry Grass/Dark Tyrantrum Dragon/Rock Lucario Steel/Fighting 2) Infernape Fire/Fighting Spiritomb Ghost/Dark Lapras Water/Ice Aggron Steel/Rock Roserade Grass/Poison Salamance Dragon/Flying and last the team in my trainer card (my favourite team), so what do you guys think? Is it good/bad? I generally like to do this for almost all the pokemon games I play.
  16. Shade's backwards Gym battle theme for me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IsOZypf_UI
  17. According to Ame, at first she didn't expect anyone to actually beat it and you're suppose to lose that battle. But since people started beating it she said she might change the dialogue and perhaps some story elements in a later patch. But as of now there should be no difference in dialogues and the story will be stay the same whether you win or lose aside from exp and money you gain from winning the battle.
  18. Thanks for the info, didn't know that Vespiquen could learn it at lv 21 with a heart scale
  19. I know there are a bunch of ways to defeat Garchomp but those require your team (which you may not have) to have a or a combination of pokemon with high evasiveness, curse, toxic and playing around with Garchomp while trying to survive which I wouldn't exactly consider 'easy'. The pokemon required for this are also easier to obtain and train.
  20. Sorry, I meant focus band not sash (my mistake) In that case you can either have multiple Slurpuffs with endeavor or revive and heal it.
  21. So I managed to figure out two ways to easily beat Solaris's Garchomp (I've never tried it out yet though as I would have to replay the game up till that point) Option 1) Requirements: a pokemon that knows endeavor and a focus band (can be bought at the dept. store on the third floor). (the fastest to get one as of update 10.5 would be Swirlix or Slurpuff at lvl 21) Basically you get a pokemon that knows endeavor and give it the focus band. It will survive the OHKO and bring garchomp hp to 1, I believe Solaris would heal him up so keep using endeavor until he runs out of potions and finishes off your pokemon. Now Garchomp will have 1 hp and you can easily finish him off with the rest of your team (try a first hit move like quick attack). Option 2) Requirements: a pokemon that knows destiny bond and either a quick claw or focus band (can be bought at the dept. store on the third floor). (the fastest way to get one as of update 10.5 would be teaching it to Vespiquen at lv 21 with a heart scale) Get a pokemon that knows destiny bond and give it either quick claw (so it moves before Garchomp) or focus band ( so it survives the first hit) and use destiny bond. Garchomp will then knock it out and himself as well and if you want the exp send out the pokemon you want to gain the exp first then switch to another pokemon to get knocked out and finally swicth to the pokemon with destiny bond.
  22. Funnily enough, Wobbuffet is based on the late Japanese comedian Sanpei Hayashiya who was famous for repeatedly touching his hand to his forehead while saying one of his trademark lines, sō nansu, okusan,"That's the way it is, ma'am" hence Wobuffet's japanese name " sōnansu" while Wynaut's name is a play on words "why not?" but in japanese it's "really?". So put those two together and you get a never-ending conversation between them "Really? That's the way it is, really?..."
  23. Just so you know Ame, while searching for a machop in pyrous mountain with carnivine sweet scent (lost count on how many battles) I encountered two shiny slugma's before finding machop ._.
