It was an essential issue and it cannot be fixed unfortunately. Anyways, I believe Ability Capsules work through cycling now where it doesn't randomly select an ability but goes through an order. You'll need another ability capsule to get it to have Dry Skin. Don't worry though if you cannot get another ability capsule as there is a vendor for them I believe after completing Version 6 that sells them for 10k each.

aslaswpdma I missed a zero :[[[ But yea, it was definitely one of the newer stuff that Jan implemented. If somehow Venam has a sister or any other family member, I wouldn't be surprised to see similar behavior.

It is a new thing that came with Version 6. It occurs after you get her a Pecha Berry where she continues to pretend she's dying and eventually she gives up after realizing it isn't working. 2000th post tho

Yes. It will be done later on actually, even before you take on the Psychic Gym. You're better off progressing in the story and then returning to this once you open the Gates.
