      Most of it wasn't considered canon by Lucas himsefl if I remember, but yea, if they said that and then used something from it that is kinda a silly thing to do.

      yeah about that crossguard... WHY? Lightsabers cling to each other, and don't slide down each other...

      a cross guard doesn't really make sense, and another Lightsaber would clearly cut through the outstanding blade-emitters...

      I like the hilt. Hilts are practical as all hell. in my own personal experience I enjoy bastard swords in actual sword fights.
