The black holes in Aaron's hand's began to seal as the Key burned with a soft light. A bit of color began to trickle back into his eyes, then it burst forth in a flood as they regained the dark green hue. He moved a little, lethargic at first as if entering out of a long slumber. Then his pupils focused as conscious awareness made it's way back in. He leaped up from the ground, glaring at the Toad with anger. "Kill that damn frog!" he shouted. then he noticed the strange, rather large key in his hand. he brought it up to inspect the device. "What...?" He looked at Matrim and Ko'Luki, temporarily forgetting about his desire to flay the little amphibious beast that had stolen the Primal Keys. "What the hell just happened? what is this thing?"

HEEPEPYEPYPEYPYEPYPY BITHDAY TO RENORN'S #1 POOPYHED
Sutoratosu replied to Jelly's topic in General Discussion
Happy birthday, Renzo! -
As Logan tossed his Copy, the hand broke off in his grip, sending the fake flying into the pit instead of sending him to the ground behind him. A loud SPLAT! issues up, but not for the reason one might think. If anyone looked into the pit with a flash light, they'd see a pink blob lying splattered at the bottom, it's ooze staining the Blade of one of the wrecked choppers. Meanwhile, Smoke's attack failed to confuse anything, but it did manage to send Nathan's fake flying backwards and cause him to lose the gun. Unbeknownst to any of the four of them though, the Ditto broke itself back down to it's original form, then transformed again. But this time into something different... and it did it perfectly from memory, not missing anything from the dupe. And it's behavior pattern had changed to, evident when It got up and retrieved the M-11, circling around the group stealthily instead of charging. The Smokescreen was still hanging heavy over the soldiers, obscuring their view of any of this. "Anyone one see where the other me went?" Erick asked, scanning the area and trying to peer through the stuff. Almost as if in answer, a stream of Automatic Gunfire tore through the black mist, damn near killing Sid as it flew right by his head. Erick turned his attention to where the burst had originated from. "Found it!" He turned to his Gible. "You know what to do!" Indeed the little land shark did. It opened it's mouth, letting another Dragon Rage fly towards the area where the gunfire had come through. A small explosion of black energy issued forth, the gust generated from the blast clearing away the smoke screen. The four men were alone again. But Crusader was going crazy over something nearby, screeching at something in the distance, though as to what, it couldn't be seen. *** A loud, grinding roar was heard as Oliver's attack made contact with something in the distance. Then a silvery, long and gleaming object could be seen high in the night sky, slamming down towards Jory and his partners with enough force to crush them all to death. If They didn't move fast... what ever it was, Kenny's attack seemed to have done nothing but piss it off even more. **** A tiny light twinkled in the distance in Lionel's periphery. Then it erupted into a blaze of multicolored light as a beam arced it's way through the air towards him...

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: The Return(OOC)
Sutoratosu replied to grasssnake485's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Twenty counting the bunch of Electric types Draidon beat while in that cave earlier. Let's see... the only ones so far that I can recall is the Natu that was attacking Ace and another Natu that got in his way in the corridor to the stair case. As for The fight with Roy, honestly no one won since it was interrupted, so it can't count for anything. But he's looking forward to round 2 EDIT: Grass, I'm gonna have them give Tempest team three Oran Berries, Two Pecha Berries, One Power Band, one Defense Band, and one Revive Herb, this good? -
I actually don't see any mention of a Fire Extinguisher in there. :/ Would've been a lot less stressful if there had been...
-
I don't mind... but you didn't do exactly that, remember? You had the water with you the entire time apparently, and then filled it back up only when you ran out the first round. I honestly think it's more of a Deus ex machina since it kinda felt like that detail was just pulled out of thin air... especially since there was no real allusion to or mention of it before hand. But whatevs, fires out now, so it doesn't matter in the end... now, let's see if the Ariados will leave quietly...

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: The Return(OOC)
Sutoratosu replied to grasssnake485's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
All I did was add in the "the laws of economy state that you have to buy what's offered to you by customer's, even if it's worthless..." Part Everything else already existed in PMD. Think about it, in the games, they really are willing to buy anything you offer for the most part, even if they're only willing to give 1 Poke for it, they're still willing. If all it's worth to them is 1$, why even bother shelling out the cash? why not just let the item walk? my answer for this question: some type of courtesy or guideline prevents them from refusing what you sell (Yes, I know there are some Items that can't be sold, like mystery boxes, but I'm being general here). Then we factor in the fact that everything is on the house, no cost to you. Even if they'll only buy product at half of it's retail, it doesn't matter; it's all 100% profit to you. the system (and the method to exploit it) was already in place, you just had to think a little to see it. -
you know what? hell no, forget this fire, Mareek's getting his ass outta there pronto. Hopefully the Academy has insurance for the dorms... EDIT: Never mind... talk about a bit of a Dues Ex Machina

Pokémon Academy: Ch 1a: A fresh start [IC]
Sutoratosu replied to Chim's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"Are you freaking crazy!?" Mareek shouted at Slade over the roaring flames licking at the room. His eyes and voice were filled with annoyance and anger over the incredibly careless and stupid decision his Roomate had just made. "You just escalated this whole damn thing! Why the hell would you use Ember, of all things, when your fighting in a room filled with giant cobwebs and flammable furniture!? What's wrong with you man, didn't you actually stop to think before you just went shouting out orders!?" He began to cough as Smoke quickly started filling the air. They'd both be dead from it if they didn't get away soon. The stuff was billowing up from everywhere and covering the entire ceiling. "Erce!" he sputtered, beginning to have trouble breathing. There was movement in the fire beyond, but the flames were too bright for him to see what was going on. A pain filled screech issued from the area, and Mareek didn't waste another second. he tore the Premier Ball off his belt and recalled the Mantis Creature to her capsule, hoping she hadn't gotten hurt very badly during his time of negligence spent yelling at Jake. He turned to the other boy, again beginning to cough heavily. Anger was burning in his eyes, he had a few choice words he'd like to hurl at the idiot... but that could wait till later. right now, they needed to evacuate and find a Fire Alarm. "Move!" he shouted, heading over to the door and stumbling into the living room as smoke began to billow in from the other room. "We gotta get help!" -

Sky tower; Get hype! and you guys liked that little trick that Driadon played, eh? Just goes to show you, it helps a lot to know how the system works -
Damn, kenny... I gotta admit, Never seen someone foolish enough to punch a mon like that... be thankful it was just a vulpix and not a Magickarp, because you'd be screwed when it evolves... Oh wait... *Recalls PMD Red Rescue Team* you know what, never mind, you might be screwed now either way...

The Awakened - First Pillar (IC Thread)
Sutoratosu replied to Flux's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Anver looked up from the table at the sound of the Vehicle approaching, getting up from the Mahogany slab of wood and approaching the window. He concentrated for a moment. Two human heat signatures popped up on his mental Thermal Screen, one in the car, and another just outside the door. It was time. And Anver was ready... though he honestly didn't know what the hell was waiting for him after this little excursion. For all he knew, Utopia would just roll up after he had done the job and pop a cap in him too; putting a hit on the hitman. But no... there was no time to think about what might happen, only time to think about what must happen, and what he must do. "Show time..." The embattled man sighed, pulling his Glock out from the back of his waistband. He loaded a single round into the chamber. Thoughts of just opening the door and killing the man outside and jacking the car couldn't help but flash through his mind, but he suppressed them just as quickly as they had appeared. Cooperation is what was needed right now... there would be a time to spill blood, of that Anver was sure. But now, was not it. He lowered the gun and stowed it inside of his Blazer pocket, opening the door and greeting the man outside, noticing the suit he carried. "I suppose that tux is for me..." -
One problem with that plan, my friend... How Is she supposed to exactly "Launch" Growlithe? because I don't see any hands on this mantis, just razor sharp scythes for arms, which have the tendency to kinda tear things apart... not really suited for picking up things. The only way I can think to send Growlithe flying that wouldn't involve physcially picking it up and actually throwing it is to use an attack like Wing Attack on it or maybe Double Hit... but both of those Ideas seem rather counter productive at the moment, all things considered (We're in the middle of a growing inferno and fighting a pack of giant spiders...yeah, Hitting an Ally at a time like this reflects nothing but pure stupidity from my perspective.). Also, another reason why that would be counter productive: Wing Attack (Base Power 60) x Techinicain boost (1.5x) x STAB (1.5x)= Wing Attack with total attack power of 135, factored in with the fact that you used Helping hand on her, which both the Technician ability and Stab take priority over, in that order... Wing Attack (Total power of 135) x 1.5= 202.5 total power we have a Wing Attack with a ridiculously high base power now. I'm pretty sure it would do some serious damage to that Growlithe. How about we just GTFO of there and slam the door shut and go get some help, because I got nothing else in mind and pretty much none of Erce's attacks can really help to extinguish the blaze. I doubt that we're gonna be able to fix this fiasco...

So... I'm kinda at a loss as to what to do right now. I don't know what needs to happen and I haven't seen anything, so I'm just gonna ask it plain: Notus, are you waiting for Kenny to edit his post? Because that's kinda what I got from the last update, ergo I've refrained from responding as to not add to the issue.- 1735 replies

God Damn it, Exlink, I told you man... So... any ideas how to fix this little fiasco now? preferably without the two of us getting extra crispy along with our mons. well, mine will be crispy, yours will just absorb the fire...wait...oh my... Question: Does the ability Flash Fire actually absorb fire, like, literally? or is it just a proximity thing? because if it's the former, there's our solution right there...

"Why, it's yours of course, Silly!" Aria said, still clinging to him. "indeed it is," a woman's voice called. Footsteps could be heard from the passage to the forge, and up the steps came Zolvier's mother. A somewhat tall woman at 5"9, her face was lined with the stress of raising three children, two of which bastards, as well as managing the shop and forge from day to day. It was easy to see where Zoliver and Alma got their jet black hair when one looked at her, though it was beginning to gray in places now. Her eyes were tired, lacking the color they had back when she was a delightful twenty-something year old, but a Determined fire still blazed there, as it always had. A fire that would prevent her from ever simply giving up, no matter the obstacle placed before her. No man in the house, besides her own son who was barely old enough to bring in some income? Fine, no problem, she just worked harder to make ends meet. The fact that Alma's and Aria's fathers were coming by asking to see them ,after they had both walked out on their little family, and her, just a year after either of them had been born? Not a problem, She would tell both of them no with the edge of her blade next time. The fact that her own husband had left one night before Zoliver was even four years old , saying his was going to get some tobacco for his pipe, and then never came back? No problem, if he wanted to walk out on his son and her, then fine. She had just told the boy that a pirate raid had happened in the middle of the night and that his father had been hauled off and killed by them. Better to make the boy think he was dead than to have to raise him with contempt for the man who sired him. And the most convenient part? that night, there actually had been a Pirate attack on the town, although it was just down by the docks, no where even near their home, and wasn't anything more than brief skirmish between workers and the ragtag crew of a ship that was looking to restock supplies. No one had even been more than a little beaten up during the whole thing. But Zoliver didn't have to hear those details, and if she had it her way, she'd make sure he never did. Johnathan Zoliver Nix could stay dead in her son's mind. "did you get the pie?" she asked as she pulled off her gloves and picked up Aria, far more than strong enough to support the small girls weight. "It be a shame if we couldn't celebrate your name day like you wanted because you were forgetful with the Errands..." The Pie she was reffering to was one Zoliver should've remembered well, an Apple Spice slathered in honey. He was supposed to have gone to the bakery and picked it up for tonight... and he had, it was in the small parcel in his hands right now in fact.

"don't you guys even know?" one of the brother's asked. the two were finally starting to calm down. "It's Annual Rescue Castle Appreciation Day here at our little shop!" "Indeed," the other added. "Prove that your from a Rescue Castle, and you get free supplies from sun up today till dusk tonight!" "Quite so," the other picked back up. "But we already know you all are from Tempest, so..." he again started to chuckle. Draidon glared at him. "What the hell then!?" he shouted. "If we didn't have to even pay today, why did you ask me if had any money!?" The other Kecleon brother began laughing again now too. "Ah, We just wanted to screw with you!" he said gleefully. "And it looks like you still don't have any cash either way!" Draidon glanced back at Ace and Sparks. "No cash, eh?" he said to the two of them. "We'll have to fix that, won't we?" He turned back to the Brothers. "One Reviver seed, please." "Certainly." The chameleon creature reached beneath the counter and pulled out a small bag, shaking it gently as a single seed fell out. Draidon reached up and pushed the seed back across the counter to him. "What's this?" the other brother asked, thoroughly perplexed. "I'd like to sell this Reviver seed, please..." Draidon said, smirking. "I do believe the going rate for a second hand one is about 400 Poke or so." "W-wait..." one of them chided. "You can't do that! it's like high way robbery! Taking advantage of our kindness!" "I'm not trying to take advantage of your kindness," Draidon retorted skillfully. "I'm just trying to get a point across. the laws of economy state that you have to buy what's offered to you by customer's, even if it's worthless... I'm just playing the system right now...so, will you be giving me my 400 Poke?" Neither one of the brothers was laughing either more. they glanced at each other, silent. "I thought so," Draidon said. He reached up and retrieved the reviver seed, thus rescinding the offer. "Now then, Can we just forget about this little botched deal and do some business without you two laughing? or am I gonna have to ride the system?" "Errmm... Terribly sorry about that, you all..." one of them admitted. "Yes," the other said. "We shouldn't go laughing and messing around with Customers like that... Anyway, welcome to the shop, Today is Annual Rescue Appreciation Day, how may we help you fine members of Tempest?"

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: The Return(OOC)
Sutoratosu replied to grasssnake485's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Tempest was transported back to town a while ago by an escape orb. but yeah, that's pretty much it. makes sense if you consider everything that Rescue teams do for complete strangers... As for the Machamp, It's intended to get a little gratitude from the Rookie Kecleon pair once they see Seacrest stepping in to try to help them, thus resulting in their reward being free supplies for the day. -
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: The Return(OOC)
Sutoratosu replied to grasssnake485's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
The gist of what's going on with seacrest is that I'm setting things up so that it would make sense for them to be able to shop for free... and I didn't want to justify their being able to in the same way that I am for Tempest (It's Rescue Castle Appreciation Day or something...) , because that would be boring and bland IMO.
