Oh, I remember that XI banner. My fave. =) It would be nice if we could change banners the same way that we could change skins.

From what I remember, some parts actually happened, and others were created for the game. And there was more than 18 iirc. Some GLs retired, and new ones came in (like Dr. Connal and Arc replacing Julia).

Lolwut. Reborn is good, but it's nowhere near THAT good.

None of the leaders have really been all that hard for me, but that's mainly because rock/water Gyms haven't come up yet. But Charlotte would be for me, simply because she forced me to use Rain Dance Porygon 2 and some non-fire types. I find some of the non-leader bosses the hardest. The last Aster/Eclipse boss took me ages to beat, mainly due to the sheer incompetence of Aya at battling. Useless when battling her, useless when battling WITH her.

They don't need to be represented numerically. If you're EV training, you start from zero, and know exactly how many vitamins and super raining you're going to do. If you're EVing something with existing EVs, you use a reset bag or berries.

You...DO realise that you can check EVs at any time in 6th generation right? And the berries are easier to get here than in a lot of main series games. iirc Hoenn is the only place where berries are more common than vitamins.

Really? Noivern is the one I dislike the most.

'Improve' is a matter of opinion. Some are MUCH better, but others are downright horrific looking.

No, I meant that the AI will either switch out talonflame (because it will swap a x4 weakness for a x2, or it will stay in and use BB (likely with c-band or swords dance). And I'm just going by experience on reborns server using talonflame vs. stuff. swords dance/bulk up/c-band all pack a punch.

I do, but when I faced Charlotte he was underlevelld, and I make a point of not grinding for Gym Leaders. (He was ground vs wild mons after beating her).

The AI will likely switch out though. and even then, your Crustle is down to 1HP, so the rest of the team will demolish it.

True, I'd forgotten about that move. It's no Swords Dance, but it helps. He is, however, very bad in double battles as he has almost no multi-attacks. The main reason I couldn't beat Charlotte using a mono fire team was I had nothing with heat wave etc-all my attacks were single attacks, whereas she had Heat Waves and Eruptions everywhere. for doubles, I'd say Typhlosion or Charizard are better bets.

No Gym Leaders have so far, so it's not likely that the rest will. Maybe the E4. And tbh, it depends on the Mega. A lot of them are Meh at best. Hardy would get Mega Aerodactyl or Mega Tyranitar-both don't change much from their normal versions-so the same ways to beat them still apply. MAYBE Mega Aggron if Ame bends the rules a bit, but it's not that good. Titania might be a problem with Mega Mawile, Mega Lucario and Mega Metagross. Amaria gets Mega Blastoise and Mega Gyarados (meh) and Mega Slowbro (slow, and easy to defeat if you know it's coming). Saphira is unlikely to have Salamence as it's the signiture mon of the E4 Dragon member, so she MIGHT have Mega Ampharos or somesuch. Maybe Megazard X, which can be OHKOd by an Earthquake. Faeries have Mega Mawile that might be a threat, and Mega Gardevoir. Flying has MegaZard Y that might hurt. Very few things that can't be dealt with, and as I said before, the odds of anyone pre E4 who's not named Lin having a Mega are almost nil.

Hmm...I disagree. We wouldn't want to alter his existing character, and I think that ANY role might do that. Silent protagonists, sure. But not anybody that has lines. Maybe Professor Oak, as he always acts the same, but nobody else.

I suggest Fire. It's what I'm doing (mainly-still need to tweak the team for a few leaders like Charlotte). Good mons, and useful against a lot of people. Even managed to get Charlotte down to her last mon with pure fire types. Sadly, while brute forcing Fire with Fire is quite good, the level cap prevents a victory.

I know it's been said before, but I STRONGLY advise finishing the current game, doing all sidequests, reading all books, searching around the forums and getting hints out of Ame before questioning the plot. (Ame is how I learned about Mr. Biggles and why there's poison everywhere!)

No, having Shelly beat Bugsy wouldn't be cool. Remember this is a FAN game, and I think it would be spoiling the story by having OCs suddenly be better than their game counterparts.
