Focus Bands can be purchased at the dept. store, and iirc, there are 2 focus sashes in the game. One in Bysbyxion, and one underneath the Grand Stairway.

In the anime winning a tournament doesn't give you E4 challenge rights. They're a less official organisation than they are in the games.

Catch a Duskull/Dusclops. (Duskull is best for levitate). Give it quick claw or focus band (though they aren't even needed). As Duskull has levitate he can only use moves that have a miss chance. Use Curse till you get it off. Profit! (That's how I did it)
