    Few things to note:1) If you double-post too often, you may get banned. 2) Please don't write your dialogue in that sort of line-by-line style. It restricts creativity. And please. For the love of humanity, PLEASE don't use emoticons in your RP entry. For example, you could have written this instead: The teacher walks up to me, annoyance etched in his gaze. His eyes narrow as he asks the question: "So, Jake, what's the first step to amulet linking?" I furiously search through my memories to find the answer, but only come up empty. "Yes, uh... it's... ummmmmmm..." The teacher glares at me disapprovingly and returns to the front of the class, sighing as he goes. I silently curse. Stupid teacher and his boring lesson. Forget it. I'm going to escape by saying I need to go to the washroom. Might even skip out entirely for today. But then I'll catch the attention of the teacher... I hate this school.

    While having an autonomous, independent party might be cool, it's rather cumbersome for several reasons. 1) The Team Dusk members will have no way to identify you as friend or foe, and may therefore attack you. 2) There is no logical way you can know the team's current objectives. 3) You will be unable to participate in major battles due to not moving with the collective unit. With regards to Pokemon mistreatment, that's a non-concern. Neither side advocates Pokemon mistreatment; in fact, both sides condemn it. Remember that even though she's now power-obsessed and crazy, the antagonist is still Dawn. The Church's philosophy surrounds the strength of the trainer, not the pokemon; If a Pokemon is inherently weaker, the Church will not purge it or mistreat it. As for anyone else, mistreating one's Pokemon is not likely to occur. Y'know, since you only get one.

    I liked the concept for the Poke-People RPG. Too bad the OP is MIA :/ As for the other RPs, the only other one that got somewhat big was the Johto one, which I suspect was because it's a fixed storyline which everyone on this forum is extremely familiar with. (No offence Amaterasu/Alatreon/whichever name you're using today. I know that you intended it to be a beginner-level RP to get this forum started off, and I respect that a lot.)

    Yes, Absol-lutely, please do. Also, from the small posts you made, I can tell you have a wild sense of humour. Please try to restrain it somewhat for the purpose of this role-play. It's meant to be rather dark in nature, so that kind of slapstick humour doesn't quite fit. That's not to say that humour is completely unallowed, but rather, the humour should not be of such an "in-your-face" variety as rocks falling on top of you. An example of humour I DO approve of is Tomas Elliot's pizza sequence. That was suitably restrained and rather well executed.

    rustytengo is right, it's not a rule that killing is not allowed, just a broad suggestion to preserve the humanity of things. Do note that any serial killing you do now may or may not come back to haunt you in about 4 chapters' time. (I probably should have said this earlier )

    KingMurdoc, there are no restrictions on physical ability so long as you can keep your character believable. I like your character ^^. Also, you posted first, so you have priority claim over Absol as a partner. "Jake"'s entry is considered void. Please ignore his posts in the main topic for now. New players can come in after all conclave mothers have been taken out. PWB, while I would have preferred for it to take longer, there's nothing I can do now, so it's alright. Try to make the battle engaging though. For future reference, the in-Universe characters who you are forbidden from using in some role or another (I'm looking at you, Lunar) are: protagonists, professors, gym leaders, Champions, Rivals. Also, I wonder whether Jory realises that he practically has a harem in his team xD
