    Ok so here is Adeline's overhaul. I feel like she's much less suish in this case. Name: Adeline Deska Age: 14 Partner: Ellie (Tropius) Hometown: Fortree City Program: Breeder Starting Side: Student Appearance: A petite girl, sitting merely at 4'11". She's a very thin girl, weighing in at just under 100 lbs. She has long, straight onyx hair that falls to right above her elbow. Her eyes are a crystalline, light blue. She never dresses to flatter herself, often wearing just plain t-shirts and jeans that are maybe a bit too long. She wears sneakers that are a bit too big for her feet and often trips because of it. Her face is a bit rugged and a bit more sharp with a few scars from times she fell out of trees as a kid. Personality: Adeline is a very exhilarating girl. She's got the high on life attitude and it often becomes a bit insane. She often rambles on in conversations without regards to the other person that's talking to her. Her attitude can often be very overbearing and leads to annoyance among those around her. However, when she gets around Pokémon, she melts to become a kind, gentle individual, a characteristic she learned from Ellie. She may be a hard person to truly talk to, but if you become her friend, she'll be incredibly loyal to you. But get in front of her and her Pokémon, and she'll tear you to shreds. Backstory : Extra: Adeline has minor hydrophobia after the events of her childhood. She also has an aversion to water types, as she directly links them with her dangerous, stormy adventure. She's not afraid of water in every form, but water in large spots like lakes, rivers, and even streams can cause her to tense up immediately. Her obnoxious attitude will immediately shut down upon sight and she'll begin shaking violently. In these moments, she'll often call upon Ellie to comfort her.

    I think I have the idea of what I want new Adeline to be like. It just requires the writing now. I'm also a bit concerned her starter might be a bit much for the start of the RP. Do you guys have issues with a Tropius as a starter?

    Alright. I'm tempted to rewrite her character in general. I'll put in something new within a day or two. Like the only thing I'll keep the same is maybe the name.

    The song for Season 5 World's is "Worlds Collide" by Nicki Taylor. It was released on Spotify this morning and taken down soon after for unstated reasons.

    I'm just super hype about the Marksman changes, and getting to see the Victorious skin around that time probably.

    I'm so excited for pre-season.

    I suddenly thought of a good second starter for Adeline and I know exactly how I want the selection to play out too. Sure, I've already used this pokemon, or more specifically, its evolution before in an RP, but I don't feel as if I did the character or the pokemon justice. In fact I was prouder of the character that I made that was destined to die in that chapter anyway.

    No one, not even the creator of any RP should be able to keep you from looking at a Roleplay. If it was meant to be private, it would be private. You have every right to look at everything available to you on these forums.

    If I hadn't already created my character with the intent to specifically be a trainer and have it as such a central part of her backstory, I wouldn't mind switching. But the whole point is that Adeline doesn't like beauty and elegance. It's just not her forté. I might actually change her to be a breeder if you think we need some variety. I'll think about it.

Her face is gentle despite her slightly crooked nose from the first incident of her father's abuse. Personality: Adeline was beaten into a state of timidity in her childhood. She often walks with her head hung and won't look up unless someone speaks her name. She is very caring towards her friends and can often become very clingy. However, she takes time to warm up to people. She takes it very hard on herself when she makes a joke that is taken the wrong way or not laughed at. She is a very diligent student, and a skillful battler. Her synchronization with Dashing is easily seen in battle. They fully trust in each other and their bond is easily observed. Backstory: Extra:

    As a forum mod, you eventually learn that people sometimes just won't pay attention. Not to say I don't trust anyone here, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone didn't notice it.

    If you'd like, you can create the topic and I can lock it until Dobby can post. If for some reason I'm not available when it needs to be unlocked, I'm sure Hukuna or Murdoc can handle it if they're around.

    I mean, it's not a pokemon with the prankster ability, it's just got an Impish nature and it's a pokemon that I've always seen as quite a prankster. I also think it fits perfectly with my character. :I

    Don't count out my character's pokemon. Also yeah, I'd be fine with a homophobic character if it didn't define him as a person. Main reason I'd be against it is because our last person was legitimately using homophobic slurs in the OOC before his character even had the chance to start. I also feel the need to mention that he was eventually banned from the forums.

    I mean, this new character isn't exactly a bubbly character. Maybe through the character development I hope she goes through, she might become that way, but she's got a way to go to get there.
