Most of my games got destroyed in the 2011 hurricane on the east coast USA. I still have some, but regardless, that picture reminded me of my huge collection.

I used to find them non-stop when EV training in HP. Them things were useless for me as they yield Defense EV's. You were probably just unlucky.

Yeah. A wise move would be to breed the Growlithe you receive now to get one early so you don't have to get it later.

If you feel like grinding, evolve Flaafy for the Corey fight. It'll be MUCH easier. I think Magnitude destroys field effects, so use that to your advantage against Corey.

Corey you could replace swirlix, that thing is not great & is heavily outclassed by Azumarill, your other party member i'd keep it for now until you get someone better

I found one, once. Needless to say I didn't have enough to buy it.

I disagree on one. If you have used Carvahna it actually is NOT hard to train, if you train it during the Orphanage raid. It's dark typing and Assurance stab completely destroys 70% of the Pokémon in there, and I had an easy time with it. Lack of movepool is the only issue.
