  1. 9/10. It's quite unusual. Is that supposed to be somebody or just a random old man?
  2. Flux watched Sarcus walk away. He'd left before Flux had a chance to thank him for the burn heal. He turned to Ogre, who appeared more than a little disappointed at not being able to finish his battle. Flux put a hand on Ogre's metal plating for a second, before having to quickly pull it away. That burn was definitely taking its toll; Ogre's metal was heating up quickly. He applied the burn heal and returned Ogre to his Heavy Ball. He decided that it would be best to heal up Ogre right away. You never knew what might happen at short notice. He left the training room and headed down the hall towards the healing machine.
  3. EMBRYOS! Will that be where the daycare is? It totally should be. Also, what did you use to make that map?
  4. Noooo! I love Noivern, so I EV trained it and raised it to LV 100, only to discover that it has IVs of 6 in both Sp. Attack and Speed... Whyyyy?!?!?!

    1. Flux

      Flux

Actually, after double checking, its Sp. Atk is 15. Speed is still 6. Still...

  5. I would say, "Sure friend, pull up a chair." However, I haven't added you as a friend, I don't have a chair, and I don't have the authority to make that decision. You'll have to wait for Acqui.
  6. Flux studied the Absol. It was definitely weak and close to exhaustion. Sarcus seemed collected, but there was a hint of worry -- no, concern, in his face. He obviously cared for his Absol and didn't want to see it hurt anymore. Flux had been planning to finish with a Metal Burst; the damage would be more than enough to finish the Absol, and it would be very difficult for Absolution to dodge in its weakened state. However, he decided to call it here. He had no desire to battle a Pokemon any longer than its trainer wanted to. "Alright," Flux said, "let's call it. Both of our Pokemon have taken a lot of damage." He walked over to the trainer on the other side. "You fight well," Flux said, holding out a hand. "Your Pokemon seems to understand exactly what you want it to do. That's a rare thing to come by these days." He laughed. "Unfortunately, Ogre and I haven't reached that point in our battling. I must say, I'm glad that we're on the same side."
  7. Lee Chaolan from Tekken would look amazing in a long black cloak/coat thing. You can't deny it. Why has this not happened?!

  8. Hmm... Well, I guess it'd have to be Gr- Graveler.
  9. Quite true, I am such a person. Next will be CobraTempest.
  10. "Would you join me for a dance? You can learn a lot about a person by dancing with them." Gillem gave an awkward smile to the elf. "Well, I'm not much of a dancer, nor am I familiar with elven songs, but I suppose I'll give it a shot. You'll just have to lead the way," he said, removing his gauntlets and taking up her hand. The elf's small, smooth hands made Gillem's seem large and rough by comparison. "Alright Olrien," he said, grinning, "Strike up a song!" -------------------------------------------------- Kho watched as the group leader took the elf's hand. From what he had seen in his travels, it would take a remarkable chance for two such people of their respective races to meet. Most elves resented humans, and vice-versa. There was a similar relation among the remaining Vanda and the elves, a remnant feeling from their battle, centuries ago. But Gillem and Eleriese seemed perfectly at ease around each other. He looked off into the distance. "Perhaps there is hope for this world after all..."
  11. Flux sighed to himself. Sarcus and Absolution knew what they were doing. He had seen that Aggron's defense was a sure advantage, so he was switching to Special Attacks. They definitely weren't pulling any punches, but that relieved Flux. There wasn't much joy in a victory unless both sides had gone all out. Still, Ogre would need to end this quickly, or they could be at a sure disadvantage. It was time to pull out a more powerful attack. "Alright Ogre, time for a Head Smash!" Flux called out. Ogre gave a grin and raised his head. Then, with momentum and speed boosted by Rock Polish, Ogre to off in a dead run through the rocks towards Absolution. Just before he reached the Absol, he whipped his head back and then thrust it forward into a powerful smash towards Absolution.
  12. Sorry for being away for so long again. I was waiting for others to post, but things should be able to start moving again now. I suppose I didn't leave you with much to go off of, so sorry for that.
  13. Gillem arrived at the designated meeting place fairly early. He had expected to be the first one outside the tavern, but Kho was already there, looking ready to get moving at a moment's notice. Gillem called out to him as he approached. "Hey there! You're certainly up early." He gave a knowing grin. "Can't say I blame you, though. I'm itching to get started as well." Kho turned to face him. "I just... don't like staying in one place for very long," he mumbled, looking off in the distance. "I guess it's just the way we nomads are." Gillem watched the calm man. He was quiet, that was for sure, but he was also cool and collected. Gillem wanted to get to get to know him; to give him someone to open up to. "Well," he thought, "I may not be having much luck with that now, but we have the whole journey ahead of us. By the end of all of this, I expect I'll have become good friends with all of our group." For now, there was nothing to do but wait for the others.
  14. Nash's was becoming very hungry from the smell of the stew Rhea was cooking. He knew she was a wonerful cook, but she surprised him every time. "I'd like to know more about those bandits," Alleria stated to the group. "Do you think they were after anything particular or was it just an unfortunate coincidence? And are they likely to come back with reinforcements?" Nash turned to face the elf. While he wasn't fond of elves, he held a grudging respect for them. They were among the best in swordsmanship, possibly surpassed only by the most skilled of the Vanda. After all, they had many lifetimes to hone their skills. On top of that, they could still wield magic. It certainly made them a force to be reckoned with. Nash addressed the question. "I tend to believe that this attack a random action of a small group. They were few in number and fairly unorganized. On top of that, they had little to no skill with their blades." He looked at his shoulder. "Personally, I'm angry at myself for letting them get to me. I don't believe there are any left, but just in case, we'll be taking shifts standing watch tonight. I hadn't planned on starting this until we were in more dangerous territory, but I don't seem to have a choice now. Roland, Crag, and myself will alternate for tonight. The women can have a night to rest." He looked to Roland and the thief. "You can decide amongst yourselves who'll be taking first and second shifts. I'll take third so you two can catch a little more sleep, unless there are objections." With that, he turned to Rhea. "How's the stew coming?" -------------------------------------------------- Rhea turned to Nash. "I'd say it's about done," she said with a light smile. She handed out bowls from her travelsack as she filled them with the stew. "Careful, it might be hot," she warned as the aroma filled the camp. "Hopefully having something to eat will calm everyone's tension..." she thought to herself. Rhea turned to the group. "How about a story while we eat? I'd like to here the stories you all know, but if nobody else wants to, I'm sure Nash can tell a good one."
  15. The Absol's claws struck Ogre in the chest, glancing off the metal plating. It was a powerful attack, but Ogre's had managed to avoid the brunt of the damage with his newfound speed. His superb defenses seemed to keep him in relatively good health, despite the Swords Dance boost. It was time for a counter attack. The arena would be perfect for Flux's next idea. "Ogre, use Rock Slide!" The Aggron rammed itself into the side of a mountain of rock above the Absol, disjointing and breaking off pieces of stone. They quickly fell towards the Absol with their weight. If it landed, it could certainly be a damaging attack. Flux could see Ogre preparing a Protect, just in case Absolution made it through.
  16. On a different note, can we make the default coloring of Groudon something like this? I think it's a much better red than his original, here:
  17. I literally love every part of this. IMO, video games have some of the best music there is.
  18. Much better. 9/10 I will always call you Cobra, though.
  19. I'd probably have to go with Entei on this one. Not much use competitively, but I love his design and background. Yveltal and Groudon are both fighting to take his place, though.
  20. Flux frowned. Will-O-Wisp was not what he was expecting. He'd have to try to put an end to this faster than originally planned. "Alright Ogre, use Earthquake!" He hadn't wanted to use the move for risk of damaging the arena, but he didn't want to lose, either. Ogre put all of his weight into stomping his feet, and the whole arena began to shake. Some of the rocks began to crack from the shifting earth. "This should put a good dent in his Absol as well as put it off-balance," Flux thought to himself.
  21. Newish I believe. But no dragon. 6/10
  22. But I want the bait... Greninja'd... Karp?
