  2. Chapter One beep beep beeeeep! The sound of the bedside alarm quickly roused Josh as he shot awake and rolled outta bed. He groaned and held his head. That...was just a dream. It seemed so real though. He glanced at the clock, which read 8:35. Good....I still got time to get to Professor Aspen's lab. Josh turned off the alarm and walked over to his closet, located on the other side of the room. In it, he grabbed the hanger containing a white tee-shirt, a black jacket, and black pants, which was recently given to him by his father. Today was a special day anyway, for it was the day he could become a Pokemon Trainer. Professor Aspen had already invited him to choose his starter Pokemon, so he had to hurry before they ran out. Thus, Jacen quickly carried his outfit into his dressing room and changed. A few seconds later, Jacen came back out, fully dressed. He tossed his pajamas into a basket and headed straight downstairs. Once downstairs, he was greeted with a surprise. His father, League Supreme Jacen, was sitting at the table. He looked at Josh and smiled. "Good morning, son." Josh blinked and smiled back. "Hey there, dad. what brings you home from Isen City?" Isen City was where the League Masters Association was located, which Jacen led as the Supreme. The LMA was an organization Josh knew little about, for they claim its a secret association. Many trainers go to compete against the LMA every year, and those that succeed join as League Masters. Josh knew someday he would be a League Master, or even the next Supreme like his father. Yet, he knew it was a long way away, so he just sat down and began eatng breakfast, which was a stack of pancakes coated in syrup waiting for him at his spot. "I got news from Aspen that your starting your journey today, being you are now 15. So, the LMA thought I should take the day off to see you off. Your mother went into town already to buy some supplies for you. I am supposed to meet her there with you so you can go to the Research Center and meet Aspen." "That sounds like a plan. Lemme just finish up." Jacen chuckled softly. "You sound just like me when I was a youngster."
  3. Prologue “Ralvarn….” A cold crisp-sounding voice echoed in the back of Josh’s mind. The black-haired youth slowly opened his eyes and gasped softly. He was in the midst of a clearing in a snow-covered mountain range. Mountains towered above him and snow littered the ground. Yet, despite the snow, Josh felt nothing. He didn’t even know how he got there or why he was dressed in his pajamas still. “Ralvarn!” This time, the voice was clear and made Josh jump in surprise. He scanned the area for the sound of the voice but he could not find it. There was nothing anywhere in the clearing. Suddenly, a vicious blizzard came from behind, knocking Josh into the snow. He yelped and turned around to see where that attack came from. Eventually he found the origin. Standing between a mountain pass was the legendary dragon of ice, Kryzen. Kryzen stood about ten feet tall and was crouched on all fours. Its scales were a blueish white and his wings were made out of ice crystals. Its eyes showed a deep warm red and its teeth were bared in a snarl. Josh immediately identified the pokemon, although he never saw it in person ever. He only remembered hearing stories of Kryzen from his father. “W-why are you calling my name?” Josh stuttered, getting up from the snow. There was no response from the dragon. It simply narrowed its eyes and growled softly. “Save me, Ralvarn…” The dragon suddenly charged straight at Josh, its feet kicking back snow as it gained speed. Its wings were spread out wide and Josh started running, his world turning black. Soon, his vision faded, but he could hear Kryzen’s voice still. “Save me…”

  6. Okay, sorry for the wait, everyone who is still following this. I was looking for a good map maker and now I found one, so here we go. Cities of the Gildor Region There are 10 locations in the Gildor Region where the trainer may go. Here is the complete details on each city or town. Isen Town Isen Town is a small town located on the southwesern side of the Gildor. It is a small town but it holds a large purpose. It is here that the Gildor League Research Center is located. The GLRC is headed by Professor Aspen and is where Pokemon trainers may recieve their first Pokemon. They have the choice of Houndour, Cacnea, or Corphish as their starter Pokemon. To the left of Isen Town is Route 1, where the trainer in the game lives. Route 1 leads to the Beach where trainers who have Pokemon that can surf may surf between Isen Town and Glastron City. Apart from the Research Center, there is no other important points to the town. The trainer school is next to the Research Center, where new players may learn how to play Pokemon. Note: The Snorlax in the northern exit is not always there. After recieving your Starter Pokemon and completing the first plot event, the Snorlax would disappear, allowing the trainer to travel north to Route 2 and 3. See Part 5 for more information on that. Kinleaf Town Kinleaf Town is the closest location from Isen Town as well as the second location in the game. This small town is famous for also being the home of Rose, the grass-type gym leader and the first gym leader in the Gildor League. Her gym is to the north of the city and leads into the Garden Arena, where trainers may challenge Flora for their first badge. The Garden Arena is also a place where many contests may be held, including wifi battling, bug catching contest, Normal Rank Contests, and even where trainers may compete in the first Battle Frontier challenge. Other than the Garden Arena, there isnt much else that is important in Kinleaf. The PokeMart is to the southwestern section of the town, while Isen Town did not have one. Rogueport Rogueport City is the first major city in the game. It too has a gym, but also has various other buildings. To the northeast section lays the Gildor League Master Headquarters and to the southeast is the Rogueport Harbor, located next to the gym.. The gate to the east leads into the Gildoran Desert, which links trainers to Volterra City without using the islands. The Harbor is where the trainers may use a Ship Pass to go between Rogueport, Glastron, Embryon, and Volterra City at any time. The Harbor also has a shop called the Seaside Market where trainers may buy rare items only obtainable in that city. Note: The gate to Gildoran Desert is blocked during the trainer's first visit to Rogueport in the game. After completing the Glastron and Embryon Island events and going through the same gate at Volterra may the trainer use the gate at any time. (requires Sand Gear and Gate Pass). See part 5 for more information. Glastron City Glastron City is located on the snowy island also named Glastron. It has not as much importance as Rogueport but its whats beyond Glastron that matters. To the left is the Artic Region, where many rare and exclusive Pokemon live in the wild. It also leads to Kryzen's Lair which is accessible near the end of the game during the main event, Kryzen's Awakening (in LM: Ice version). To the northwest of the town is the LMA's Island Branch, ran by the gym leader of the city, Chris, who is an ice type specialist. There is also a research center in the southwest, which is also ran by Chris. This research center will be the main focus on the Glastron Island event in the games. Embryon City Embryon City is to the west of Glastron and can only be reached by either a Ship Pass or by having a Pokemon know Surf. Its a small city on the foot of Embryon Mountain (assessible to the north after the trainer teaches their Pokemon Rock Smash). There is a fire type gym leader who resides here named Amber. She, like Chris, runs a Research Center to the northeast part of the city. Other than the gym and the mountains, very little happens on the island. Volterra City Volterra City is the southern most city in the western part of the Gildor as well as the first city on the western side in the game. It is located just before Boulderon Southern Pass. There is a gym in Volterra City specializes in Electric type Pokemon as well as a Powerplant in the northeast area. The Volterra Harbor is on the southeast side, where trainers may go between Embryon and Volterra using their Ship Pass. The gate to the west of Volterra leads into the Gildoran Desert. Unlike the gate in Rogueport, this one is open and allows for quicker travel between Rogueport and Volterra City. Cychrona City Cychrona City lays at the base of Mount Boulderon and is home to the psychic type gym leader, Aurion. Its a small city but has great importance, for it is the city of the Aura Guardians. The Aura Guardians are a class of trainers who train to control aura. Many of them train at Aurion's gym while others live in the Cychrona Underground, accessible using the two tunnels to the north of the city. The center tunnel leads into North Boulderon Pass, which travels through Mount Boulderon and into Boulderon City. The Western Gildor League Research Center is located in the city as well, where trainers are able to take the fossils they obtained in fossil cavern to be revived as Pokemon. Professor Thorn is the head of the Research Center though he is often assisted by Aurion. Boulderon City Bouldeorn City is the northern most city in the game, accessible only by North Boulderon Pass or Isen City's tunnel. Its home to the fossil master, Minor and his daughter Sandra. Minor is in charge of the gym, but when he is away, his daugher is in charge. The gym is in the northwest corner of the city, next to the exit to Isen City. To the east is the passage to Boulderon Underground, which is the only way to reach Descara Town, the last town in the game. Note: There will be two workers blocking the path out of Boulderon City to the north who will say that there is a blockade ahead. After beating the Boulderon and Descara gyms and completing the Descara Town event, the workers will announce that the blockade is cleared and that you may go on to Isen City. Descara Town Descara Town is located east of Boulderon City at the very deepest level of the Underground. Once, it was a mining town until Boulderon City was founded. Now its a small town with only a very few trainers live. There is a manion to the north where multiple ghost and dark type Pokemon live freely. The gym is build next to it, ran by Raven and Crow, specialists in dark type Pokemon. They are the 8th and strongest gym in the League. Only by collecting their badge can a trainer compete against the League Generals in Isen City. Isen City Isen City is the final city in the Gildor Region and the home of the LMA Headquarters. It is here, and only here, that the trainers who have earned all 8 badges may compete head to head with the three League Generals as well as the League Supreme Jacen. Those that win against them go on to become the next League Master of the Gildor League and may move on to compete in the Virdon. The LMA Headquarts is the only building in the city located to the north. To the south is the Pokemon Center and the Pokemart and to the east is the path to Larsecta Forest, which is the first steps in the Virdon Region. There is a dive zone to the south as well but it isnt availible until after completing the Virdon League and rechallenging the Generals. Note: The entrance to Larsecta Forest is blocked by rocks until after the League Challenge is successful. Afterwards, the rocks will clear and you can freely enter the forest.
  7. I used paint for the map, and dont worry, Magi, its not going to be Hoenn all over again. in fact there is little water in the game and what is would be around Embryon and Volterra. (You can surf from Glastron to Rogueport or Embryon to Volterra or between both islands)
  8. Part One. Introduction and Geography of the Gildor and Virdon The Gildor Region and Virdon region both occupy the same island. The Gildor takes up the eastern side while Virdon is to the west. It is naturally seperated by the Boulderon Mountains and physically seperated by the Boulderon Pass. Isen City is located right on the border and is the only place a trainer can enter the Virdon from in the game.
  9. (wasn't sure where to put this so I decided to place it here) Welcome to the walkthrough of Pokemon: League Masters Fire and Ice Versions, the two versions I intend on making in the near future. This may or may not be a hack game, since I have yet to decide, but I know it will be made. The game features two brand new regions: the Gildor and Virdon Regions, which means there is a brand new league and new Pokemon to catch. Also, there are new items and new features. The new features include (but are not limited to): -Respect System- A new system of respect will be attempted to add a better feel to the game play. It allows trainers to battle based on how much progress you made in the game, both plot and pokedex-wise. It avoids situations where the character must battle through severely under-leveled Pokemon. The respect system will also affect money gain and the higher the opponent is on the respect system, the better the pay. -The PokeTech- a new feature where the Pokedex, PokeNav, the phone, and the Poketch are all tied into one. Players can now look up other trainers' info as well as contact various npcs and access a map of the Gildor region. The Poketch portion of the PokeTech allows for an expansion of the PokeRadar and other apps. -Outside Weather Modification- Now you can use weather attacks (Rain Dance, Hail, Sunny Day, Sandstorm) anywhere as long as you have the Gear for it (see section 2 for Gear info) These are but some of the features to be in the game. Now, onto the walkthrough. It will be broken down into the following categories. 1. Introduction and Geography of the Gildor and Virdon -Introduction -Geography of the Gildor -Cities of the Gildor -Geography of the Virdon -Cities of the Virdon 2. New Things -New Items -New Moves -New Pokemon 3. The League -Gym Leaders of the Gildor -Gym Leaders of the Virdon -The League Generals and League Supreme 4. The Game -Walkthrough of the Game
