Well, most of my favorites are already in the game, being Aggron, Nidoking, and Sandslash. However, I would like a Cyndaquil event since it's my favorite Pokemon overall, even though I decided to pick Snivy as my Starter. I would probably say that Noibat is the one I want the most though. Noivern is easily in my top 5 favorites. #givemeearthquaketm

Yeah, it's my first, and I'll try to just keep doing what I'm doing since people seem to think it's good. Oh yeah... So do I need to do anything or do I just wait until you decide to do something? I can't think of anything really left for me to do except get Aggron back.

Also Murdoc, Miki should still be in the base although you can't really meet her, and I can't do much right now since I'm supposed to be following Silver. I'll just have to wait for Acquiescence to get back.

This seems to be one of the main problems forum rps face that I can see. Any time two players get into a conflict of any sort, (be it a fight, argument, whatever) neither of them is going to want to lose which is understandable. Nobody wants their character to lose. However, because of this, people usually end up adding more and more to their character's arsenal until things just get ridiculous and sue-ish as we're seeing here. Not much you can do, though...

Silver walked back up to Flux and extended a hand. "I'm giving you a choice. Would you like to join us? If you want to join us, it would be appreciated. If you would rather not, you may leave. In both instances, we will return your Aggron, and we shall not harm you. What do you choose?" ----------------------------------------------------- Flux met the man's eye and saw that he meant what he said. He thought about leaving for a second, then dismissed the idea. He had nowhere to go to, and he believed in the cause of this organization. Flux shook the man's hand, relief rushing through him. "I will lend what intellect I have and the strength of my Aggron to the cause of Team Dusk." He met the man's gaze. "I don't believe I ever got your name, though. I don't suppose I can call you 'interrogation man' forever, can I?" Flux smiled as he said the last part.

Well, I suppose he'd kill if absolutely necessary. I think he'd probably weigh out his options to make sure it was the best choice first.

I don't hate them. I think they're an amazingly helpful reference. Granted, I may not always agree with their sets, but people are entitled to their opinion. Also, I've never gotten that impression on this site. If people do dislike them, it's their own choice, though. Many people dislike when people copy Smogon's sets wholeheartedly, but I don't have a problem with that. I don't agree, but hey, it's his opinion.

Flux paused when the knife came to his throat. He thought of what the man could want him to say. He had been analyzing his behavior from the moment he entered the room and had slowly become more certain that this man did not belong to the Church of Dawn. His first suspicions came around the time he woke up after being captured. After witnessing the destruction of the acolytes at the conclave, any Church member was probably either dead or long gone. Even if some had remained behind, they probably would just kill any unknown people on sight. The real charade-breaker was this man's last question. After learning the truth from Flux, a Church member would most likely either kill him or put him to work somewhere. Why would he care if Flux hated the Church? The man was cunning, he'd give him that, but Flux was on a whole other level. He had graduated from the Pokemon Research Academy at a younger age than some are allowed in. He had a mind like a blade of steel, and it was cutting this man to pieces. However, that sort of thinking also caused him to miss signs which may seem obvious to others. Thus, his current dilemma. He was almost positive that this man was a member of Team Dusk, but Flux didn't know what he wanted him to say. Sure, Team Dusk probably hated the Church, but did they want a member driven by blind hatred? At the same time, if he said he didn't hate the Church, they may think he wasn't on their side and could kill him on the spot. He may not be terribly keen on joining such an organization, but he doubted he could just walk out intact having been to their base. Besides, they were more or less after a similar goal to his own. Working together could benefit them both. However, his guess could be wrong and this man could truly be a member of the Church. But if that was the case, Flux had no choice anyway. Flux drew a breath. The time for his answer was here. He would simply speak the truth. "I do not hate the Church. I do not agree with their methods, and I believe they need to be stopped, but a man can be blinded by hatred. Being a scientist, that is not something I would wish to happen to myself. A clear mind is all I can count on sometimes. This is my answer."

Yes, but Pokemon have been shown to refuse Pokeballs, even the original. Just think about Ash's Pikachu. When he tried to put it in a Pokeball, it just broke out. Misty's Psyduck is a similar example from the show. If the Aggron broke out because it didn't like the place, I doubt it would just go back quietly. It doesn't really matter much though. The story goes on...

"Well, it may depend on whether you believe in religion or not, but I suppose I can skip to more consequential events." "I suppose this really begins in my lab. I'm from quite far away originally. You probably wouldn't recognize the region if I told you, and it makes no difference in this story. My lab was also my home. It was where all the data obtained from my... research was stored. As you are probably curious, and will no doubt use force to get me to tell you what such research is, I'll try to summarize it so someone like you could understand. If I were to give a name to my profession, I suppose it would be closest to a genetesist, although it is much more complicated than that. I study the genetic structure of Pokemon to further understand how they do what they do. Of course, there was... other... work done there; the sort that I am not willing to give details about. I would say that I'd take that information to my grave; however, there are written copies existing. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to those copies after the "incident", and they may already be in foreign hands. But, getting to the part that matters, the incident took place about two weeks ago. I was working in my lab when a group of people burst through the door, claiming that the lab was now the property of the Church of Dawn. Now you must remember, I am from far away. We had not received any word of such a church, but alas, she has spread her plague far and wide. I would have stayed to defend the lab; I had a variety of Pokemon, and probably could have defeated the entire group save for the one. She was a young woman, much younger than me, but there was a fire of hatred and anger burning in her eyes. I now believe that this woman was Dawn herself. However, the main reason that I fled was her Pokemon: the legendary "god" Arceus. It was Arceus itself; not a Ditto or any other mimicking creature unknown to man. I have researched the genetic structure of Pokemon for most of my life, and I know this to be true. Now I must say that I hold no belief that this Pokemon could be a "god". However, it is a very powerful Pokemon, one that I could not defeat. As such, I took the only one of my Pokemon near me; Ogre, my Aggron. Let's say that I had been researching how such a creature could be born into a metal body. Yes, that was it. So I took Ogre, quickly grabbed what supplies I could, and left. Now don't believe I left easy. Of course had Ogre Hyper Beam the entire interior, destroying any equipment and data that I could at such short notice. But despite my efforts, there were bound to be papers left for Dawn to find, although I don't know how much good they would do her with her lack of scientific background and the fact that many supporting papers were probably destroyed. I think it's safe to say that she gained no information of real use from that raid. And if you by some chance aren't on her side, you'd better hope she didn't. The details afterward are of less importance. I fled from Dawn's chase for quite a few days. I suspect the only reason I escaped at all was probably the fact that she and her followers had never been to the region before. I wandered for days after, using what money I had taken to sustain myself. Eventually, I came to Eterna. I stumbled upon the conclave and saw the dead acolytes, at which point I decided to see if I could gain any information about Dawn from them. Then, your men attacked, and here we are. Flux took a breath. "If you won't believe that that is the truth, then nothing I say will convince you."

Purely in curiosity, how did they stop a rampaging Aggron?

Oops. >.> Also, Silver is a Team Dusk member, right? That was what I originally thought, then when he questioned Flux he said something like "Don't mess with the Church of Dawn" or something along those lines, which led me to think he was a Church member. So then I edited my old post to change "Dawn" to "Dusk." Then you talked about Lucas watching, which leads me to believe he is a Team Dusk member, pretending to be a Church member. So I just now edited the post back to how it originally was. So basically props to you, Acquiescence. You managed to fool me about which side he was on, even though I started that event.

I'm sorry... Although, to be completely fair, this hasn't gone exactly as I hoped either... But alas, I am not the OP, and it's fun this way anyway. Edit: Besides, this makes it more interesting for you, too.
