  1. What if we raised a human who had absolutely no exposure to media of any kind for its entire life? As in, they had seen no TV shows, watched no movies, read no books, etc. They had not been told about any of these works either. They'd have no cliches to think of, no other story to subconsciously base a work upon. What would they write? I'd be genuinely curious to find out.

      Probably still soemthing similar. After all, these things are quie ingrained in our very culture not just you know, out fiction. The thing is, it's pretty much impossible to keep them from all of media, media is everywhere and easily accessible these days. They are everywhere, but I think they would eventually end up in the same places as others. After all, the first writers didn't have much to go on either, they didn't have tropes etc...ANd yet quite a few derive from Epic poems...

      I think there was a remote island with a tribe not exposed to any of the modern world found sometime during the 2000s. But yeah old legends and myths and such still contain many of the same tropes so prevalent in today's media.
