"Huh," the female coordinator said out loud as Kage explained his thought process to Ryan. Danielle put her fluffy Larvesta back into her arms and gave a shrug towards Claude. She was honestly clueless about how to respond to this sudden win. Sure, Danielle is happy for Slade, but it didn't feel right after the insults that were thrown on both sides.

Corona chirped to congratulate Raiza and James on their battle. She was released from her capsule shortly after Claude and Danielle settled into their seats to watch Kage and Slade's battle. The firebug had taken her place on Danielle's head after she realized that she was not used during Danielle's battle. Although Corona was a bit disappointed that she couldn't burn Kristen's hair "by accident," she was pleased that Zared and Avis had taken care of her. Danielle was watching the remaining battle intently as Zared finished eating his berry. Avis was also by her side, although she was busy fixing her feathers. "Sorry that I don't have any more Sitrus berries for you, Zared. I will make sure to restock once we get back to school. And, also, someone has to remind me to take you to the medical room so that you two can properly heal up." Her three Pokemon each uttered a cry to say that they understood. Zared finally sat back up and stretched his tired muscles after he finished his late bite of food. With a few snaps of his horn, he became still and decided to watch the battle with the others. Danielle smiled and gave him a pat on the head, which elicited a happy response from the Mawile. "Thanks, buddy. You have done more than you know, believe me."

Like the others around her, Miki stared at Fria, now revealed to be the Candace, in total shock. Most of the group surrounding Candace had already voiced most of Miki's concerns so she shyly just asked one more thing before she fell silent. "Miss C-Candace... Umm... Does that mean that you told Regice to find us b-back at the temple?" Miki's Jolteon, however, was jumping up and down happily. This was such a pleasant surprise to the Eeveelution, having a gym leader being on their side and all.
