    Think of this way: It's a shorter wait than the next episode of Reborn. By the way, in my characterization of Avis, I'm trying to base Murkrows off of... well, crows. They are known to be as smart as chimpanzees, and Avis' IV is, as you can probably guess, highly curious, so I find it suitable for Avis to know how to unlock doors. If it seems way to extraordinary, let me know.

    "You are shy one, non?" Danielle teased Shiro. She, carefully, shaped her arms into a cradle so that Shun can be dropped safely in her arms. Judging by the injuries, Shun seemed more tired than injured, although there was that burn on its left hand... Danielle nudged Avis with her nose, waking up the Murkrow instantly. Her breast feathers became less poofy once more. "Avis, I'm seeing burns and exhaustion on the Ralts here. Do you see any other injuries?" Avis cocked her head and flew gently around Danielle's arms, trying hard not to startle the quiet Ralts. After a few seconds, Avis shook her head. "Alright, Avis. Grab my key and go get my emergency bag. The key is in my boot here," Danielle nudged the ground with her right foot. At the top of the boot, there seems to be a part of a keychain dangling from it. Avis nodded once again, went down to grab the key, and took off towards the girls' dormitory. ------ A brief moment later, Avis came back with a small bag in her talons and a key in her beak. Danielle was kneeling on grass as the others chatted; Avis flew over, put the bag in front of her master and slipped the key right back into place. With that done, Avis hopped over back to the bag and unzipped the emergency bag and took out a Burn Heal. "Good girl, Avis~" Danielle complemented the bird as she took the Burn Heal from her beak. Avis then proceeded to rummage through her bag for bandages. She paused for a second, recalling what Nurse Joy's instructions on handling an injured Pokemon. "Umm... Hey, Shun? My name's Danielle. I'm one of the students here at the academy." She said softly to the Ralts, hoping he could understand her. "I heard that you got a burn on your hand, so I want to let you know that I can help you with this." Danielle held the green bottle in front of him. "It's a Burn Heal, but it can sting. I just want to let you know that so you can be prepared..." Danielle looked up to Shiro. "You might want to come down here. Pokemon feel more secure when someone they know is by their side, or that's what Nurse Joy told me back at Laverre City."

    Danielle yawned behind her gray and blue scarf as they approached Henry and Mareek out on the edge of the forest. Her energy was sapped from all of the chasing that was done today. Avis was in a similar mood; she sat comfortably on Danielle's shoulder with her head sank in her puffed out chest feathers. She looked like a miniature Honchkrow minus the white breast feathers. "What time is it, by the way?" Danielle said to no one in particular. "I think we all need to go to the Contest Hall by six or something...?" She then approached Shiro, stopping right in front of him, to take a better look at the Ralts. They reminded her of the time when she first met Avis out on a neighboring route. Avis was found unconscious with a broken wing, so she had to bring it to a Pokemon Center to be treated. Due to the overwhelming amount of injured Pokemon there at the time, however, Danielle and her parents were allowed to have the Murkrow recuperate in their house with specific instructions given by Nurse Joy. "Hey, don't worry. Your Ralts... Shun right?... will be fine even without a Pokeball. I'm sure the academy has a backup plan for such situations. If not, I can try and help... I had to take care of Avis, my Murkrow, when I first found her. Believe me, she was in a worse state than Shun is in."

    "Oh, Avis! You're okay! You're alive! Thank Arceus!" Danielle cried happily, tears of joy were running down her face. She pulled the Murkrow into a bear hug, resulting in Avis flapping even more wildly as she tried to break free. A muffled cry from the bird was heard before Danielle released her from the glomp. Avis took her place on Danielle's shoulder once more as Danielle wiped her tears; Avis began preening her feathers as her master calms down. The Murkrow seemed miffed that her feathers are messed up. "H-Hey, Avis. T-That's what you get for s-scaring me to death, okay?" Danielle said, half-jokingly through her tears. Then she added, more seriously, "I know y-you were trying to help, a-and I am proud of you for that. But, please, please don't go running off like that, okay? At least give m-me a sign or something... I really don't want to find a half-dead bird again... Please, Avis?" Avis blinked at her master. The only time she ever saw Danielle cry was when Danielle found her lying almost dead from electrocution. The disappearance into the forest must have scared Danielle senseless if she was crying from it. With a nod, she gave her a friendly peck on the ear as a sign that she understood before she went back to fixing up her feathers. Danielle smiled, letting her Murkrow patch up by herself. "Claude, Lana, please forgive me for my outburst earlier, and for running into the forest like that. I know I probably caused a lot of trouble here," Danielle said, turning to Claude and Lana as Alvin ran off. "You three, go after the one that ran away and get him out of the forest! Now!” Devin ordered. “And take this one with you,” opening a path for Shiro before turning his attention back to the group of Trevenant. "Ah, y-yes sir," Danielle replied meekly to Devin. "And... thank you, for keeping Avis safe..." She then realized that she give her thanks for Claude and Lana, quickly turning around to see them. "And... thank you for helping me find Avis. I can explain why I reacted the way I did on the way back. The half-dead bird thing is really not a joke to us." Avis then nudged Danielle's head with her wing while she pointed to the direction that Alvin just left. "Oh, right, the one that ran off?" Danielle asked her Murkrow, who nodded in response. "Want to find him for us?" Avis crowed happily, flying after Alvin. "Meet us outside the forest if anything, alright? And be careful!" A faint "Murkrow!" could be heard as a confirmation. Danielle turned towards the remaining boy that Devin had indicated. "So, let's get out of here, no?"

    Glad to see that you're well Hukuna! Take your time to catch up. Notus, considering how long the first chapter has dragged on, I think your ending is appropriate. We need to revive this RP.

    ((It's not quick at all, Dobby. It fits the situation we are in right now.)) "Yes, let's go, please," Danielle replied curtly. She was still anxious about Avis' safety. Without another word, she ran towards the ballooned Cottonee, praying to Arceus that her Murkrow was safe.

    Without another moment of hesitation, Danielle sprinted off after Claude and Doux. She was embarrassed about her sudden screaming, but she was so scared for Avis' life that she could give Raticate's a** about her pride right now. Danielle figured that she could explain later. ---------------------- Avis gave a series of "krow"s, "murkrows" and "mur"s while pointing the directions with her beak and wings. She was trying to say that she knows where the boy and the Pokemon are, hoping that Devin would be smart enough to understand. She then flew down towards a nearby rock and plucked one black feather from her wings. Avis slipped the feather underneath the said rock, with half of the feather still visible to the human eye, and made two parallel slashes with her talons. Once that is complete, Avis flew a few feet ahead of Devin and his Haxorus, waiting for them to follow her.

    Danielle is probably underestimating the size, so I might have Avis leave clues for them to follow.

    Yeah, Danielle is freaking out. It just made more sense for her to go into the forest now :3

    "Oh my gosh! That is so beautiful~" Danielle stared at the sparkly trail that Doux left behind in his wake. "And nope, not a clue! That would explain how he could handle such awesome Pokemon, though, thank you~" While Lana questioned Claude about his previous escapade, she realized that Avis was nowhere in sight, not even in the skies. The last time she saw or, rather, heard Avis, the sneaky bird was circling the forest. The sudden disappearance sent a chill down her spine. Her heart began to race; fear of the worst began to seep into her thoughts yet again. Danielle tried listening to Claude and Lana's conversation to try and calm down. "Oh, I see... Okay, so Claude is afraid of Rock type Pokemon... T-That explains the running away from earlier... Running away... Oh no, Avis, where did you run off to?" Without her knowing, Danielle began playing with the straps of her gloves. She looked around frantically, hoping that the black bird would pop up behind them or something. Nothing but the dorms and grass and trees circled her... "AVIS! COME OUT NOW, YOU STINKIN' BIRD! DON'T YOU REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED BACK AT HOME?!"

    I was thinking that we need to make sure, somehow, that the acolytes are accounted for. Destroying the generator without any consequences seemed too easy. But this chapter has gone on for long enough.

    Got it. I was about to have Danielle freak out when she couldn't find Avis.Do you need me to hold off on replying?

    Umm... Chim, did Devin just ignore Avis? She was heading towards you ^^;

    In the words of Chuggaconroy, "NO!" You know, clashing with Greadia would be pretty fun for coordinators. The way they use their moves can be pretty unique.

    Wow, how much did I miss? T.T First off with the bunnying: I agree with what Dobby and Turbo said. Since I am usually more active at night, some plot could be held up because of me. So, feel free to bunny if necessary. Second, Exlink: Don't worry about bunnying Avis, it was more or less what I planned for her. As for my second Pokemon, I was going for Larvesta as well. (Yay for no species clause!) If it is pseudo, however, I was thinking Bulbasaur (who is my third if Larvesta is allowed).

    "Claude! Doux! Thank goodness you're alright! Didn't you know there was a fire in there? I was so worried!" Danielle almost screamed. She ran up to him and gave him a quick hug. "You were so lucky that it was put out already, monsieur. I heard the guys said that they put out the fire when Lana and I got here. Why did you run a---?" Danielle stopped mid-sentence as she saw Claude shifting nervously at the sight of... Rhy? She quickly rephrased her question to try and cover it up. "Ah, I mean, why were r-running around the campus like that? We have time to explore later! W-We need to get to the Contest Hall, according to the professor here..." Danielle glanced at Devin, who was pulling back two of the guys trying to enter the forest. Devin then sent out a Flygon, who went straight for the woods, leaving Devin and the Haxorus to follow. Several others also began making their way to the Contest Hall as she spoke. A lone boy was still sitting down on the grass. "The problem is," Danielle said, turning back towards Claude and Lana, "There are a few of us missing in that forest. The professor said he will take care of it, but wouldn't it be better if more of us are there to help? What do you two think?" ----------------- Avis continued circling around the area that Slade went into when a Flygon zoomed by, unbalancing her for a few seconds. Once she regained her balance, Avis saw the group dispersing: Most headed for this huge dome thingy, two are heading towards her, and a few others, including her master and... Claude?, are still at the dorm. Avis sighed with relief; that means the fire incident was resolved. What about the angry boy and the orange dog? Since she didn't hear Danielle give a call, she decided to fly towards Devin and the Haxorus to see if she could help out with the search.

    Got it. I'll edit my post now~ EDIT: I decided to have Avis stop Slade first. That way, you and Stratos can continue the conversation even when I'm off for the night.

    As Avis made her way to the fire, she saw a guy running out of the boys' dormitory and was heading straight for the barricaded woods. Seconds later, another boy came out; it seemed that the second boy is trying to catch up to the first one. The Murkrow figured that they might know something about the fire, so she flew down towards Slade, trying to stop him from going any further. She then let out a loud "Krow" to signal her presence but also to let her master know her whereabouts.

    I'll put Avis in Slade and Mareek's path, if that's okay? I think the girls will bump into them even without Avis in the long run. Feel free to bunny if necessary. I'll be off after my post.

    Hmm... so many choices. Danielle, Lana and their pokes are heading to the fire, so it might make more sense for Avis to be heading towards Tacos' character or Kage. The problem is, I will be off in 40 minutes or so. So, if someone doesn't mind holding off their posts (or you can bunny Avis), I will make a post.

    Shippings are getting so serious right now. By the way, is anybody outside of the boys' dorm right now? I was thinking about having Avis (Murkrow) bump into someone. If not (or you don't want to), that's fine too.

    Mine is straight. Besides the ones that were listed earlier, I think the other guys are straight, too.

    It will be funny if I said Danielle is a lesbian or asexual. Also, since Greadia and the students are going to meet up eventually, should we account for them in the possible shippings as well?
