  1. "Hmm..." Danielle was obviously puzzled. She never saw a Pokemon rejecting the trainer before, no matter how bad the situation is. For once, she was absolutely speechless and could not come up with a solution. Her Larvesta, meanwhile, stepped back as Shun froze Tal in her place with a Shadow Sneak. Avis, on the other hand, only looked on as Tal continued to spat at everyone around her. The Murkrow was half tempted to talk some sense into her and half tempted to let it be in case the Snorunt's temper tantrum got out of hands again. "Honestly, I am at a loss for words. It may be best if we get a Professor on the case while Shun holds her off. Shiro, do you need me to ask one of them to come over? It looks at least one of the judges are not busy now."
  2. Cock blocked. Please don't tell me you were thinking about Twilight when you said "Team Jacob." T.T
  3. As the Snorunt fell over, Danielle and her two Pokemon gave a sigh of relief. Not that they mind a battle, it's just that now is not the time. Danielle checked up on Corona and Avis to see if they were okay from the fall when Shiro came running over apologizing and freaking out about not having any more Pokeballs. Once her Pokemon confirmed their healthy condition, she got back up on her feet while Chalchi woke up Shiro's Snorunt. "D-Don't worry, Shiro. It's not your fault. And, I'm sure this school has extra Pokeballs for situations like this. We can go ask~" Danielle replied, accepting Shiro's apology. She turned to the battlefield to find Alvin looking shocked over the loss with Evan. "Oh man! I missed the finale!" Then, she spotted Claude. "Claude! Did you see how it ended? Please tell me you did! You have to tell me all about it later at lunch, okay?" Avis snuck out of Danielle's grasp and joined up with Corona. They seem to be counseling with one another about something while giving glances towards the Snorunt, just in case it decided to attack them again.
  4. To Stratos and ExLink: Jory and I didn't battle yet... Nvm, got ninja'd~
  5. Danielle was sent landing on her face as Tal crashed into her back. Avis was quick enough to land on her feet, crowing angrily at the Snorunt. Corona, on the other hand, got the same fate as her trainer. "Ooowww," Danielle groaned, rubbing her back. "Whose bright idea is it to hit me?" She found Avis crowing at a Snorunt. "Crap!" She snatched Avis from the ground to shield the bird. "Wait, Avis! Don't fight it here! I don't want to end up in detention with Alvin!" Corona, being resistant to Ice moves, quickly crawled over and stood in between Danielle and the Snorunt. She uttered a few cries, trying to persuade the Snorunt that they meant no harm.
  6. "Does Alvin not know what Encore does to a Pokemon? He just risked knocking out his precious Combee." Danielle shook her head in disappointment. "So he is an expert on Bug types, but not so much on other things... On the other hand," she looked at Evan's side of the field, "That provides an opportunity for Evan to make a come back. Come on, Evan!" On her head, Corona was observing the battle as well as her surroundings. She was not as excited as Avis and Danielle are about battling. In the distance, she saw Shiro struggling with Tal, the Snorunt. Corona tried getting her master's attention by tapping on her head. Unfortunately, Danielle did not seem to notice.
  7. Plz, Alvin got all of the support he wants/needs from his ego. Anything else is minuscule and will provide no substantial benefit.
  8. As much as Danielle hates to admit it, Jacob does have a point. The Dwebble is major source of Evan's frustration. She fidgeted with her glove straps; if only she was the one facing Alvin right now! Her Pokemon are at a severe disadvantage to a Dwebble, too, but at least their moves are not resisted by that shell. "Evan does have a major pain to deal with," Danielle commented as Eevee was struck to the ground by yet another Gust attack. "But if Cleffa can get one non-physical move on that Dwebble, the tide could turn." That possibility, Danielle knows, may not happen, but she really doesn't want to see Alvin win against her friend.
  9. "You better!" Danielle called after Henry as he took his leave. As she walking over to Alvin and Evan's field, Avis decided to fly down to join her. "Excited, mon ami?" Her Murkrow nodded furiously and walk-hopped with her master and Corona. Danielle chuckled; she rarely saw her Murkrow this fidgety and it was quite amusing. That also means that Avis will not be fooling around as much as she usually does. Danielle took a spot beside Jacob and let Corona, the shy Larvesta rest on her head. Since Larvestas are so small and cannot fly, Danielle decided to let Corona get the first seat in the house. Corona let out a surprised cry before she settled herself on Danielle's head. This was certainly... different compared to sitting on a tree branch. Avis flew onto Danielle's shoulder instead. The Murkrow wanted to preserve the rest of her energy for the battle ahead. "Alvin has the Dwebble?" Danielle said softly to her Pokemon. "I can see how both of you can handle it but..." she glanced at Evan's side, "It's going to be tricky for an Eevee and a Cleffa..."
  10. ((See, I waited for you all to post first now!)) "Fine with me~ But my last comment still stands. If you find any girl you like, you are free to ask me for advice~" Danielle grinned. "I would go with you, but since I still need to wait for a battle, I'll have to stay here." Danielle stuck her tongue out at Henry, but kept her silence. It wasn't because she was afraid of his Vulpix's gas, since Avis can just blow it away, but she doesn't want Shiro to know the real meaning behind that joke and make him mad. And, besides, there are more chances to tease him. She felt a poke on her shoulder before Jacob's voice could be heard. "Looks like those two are at it again, except they're using Pokemon now. They're going to be rivals all throughout the year, I just know it," he said excitedly, keenly interested in the battle. "They're going to be incredible to watch, don't you think?" Danielle looked towards Evan and Alvin's battle that is now underway. She nodded, agreeing with Jacob as she saw a Combee/Dwebble duo versus Evan's Eevee and Cleffa. "Oui oui~ Why don't we all go and watch?" Then she turned to Shiro before she focused on Evan and Alvin's battle. "Shiro, when... Tal, right?... is healed up, come stop by and watch! I still have to battle and I love company!"
  11. ((Commander... Let's call our ninja-ing skills a draw)) Danielle laughed at Henry's comment about the Digletts. She actually felt bad for poor Shiro; she realized that her joke went way over his head, let alone Henry's. "I like you, Henry! You're good!" Seeing Shiro's defeated face, however, made Danielle feel bad. Danielle did intend to take the joke further, but now is not the right time. "H-Henry," she said through her laughter, "Y-You're right... I'll stop, I'll stop." She finally pushed herself to stop laughing for a minute, just to explain herself. "Shun, dear, you don't have to prove anything. I believe you and Shiro, honest! I was only teasing, as I have a habit of doing. Henry is too. And, like he said, sleeping with a Pokemon who happened to be of the opposite gender is really no big deal. There are people who sleep with Pokemon that way all over the place! We are not judging you any less." Danielle said, trying to contain her laughter at yet another innuendo that she slipped out. She hoped he didn't catch that.
  12. "Henry! What perfect timing~" Danielle waved to Henry. Then, Danielle smirked. Another fun opportunity is here, but she will more gentle with Shiro. Judging by his behavior, he doesn't seem too familiar with the ways of the outside world yet. "Oh, Shiro~ You don't have to hide behind Shun. It's okay to admit that you slept with a girl already, it's perfectly normal~" Danielle teased. "In fact, if you need any girl advice, you are always free to ask me!"
  13. Two is better than one, my friend I have a bad feeling that Henry, Kenny and Alvin are not going to end up too well... It's going to a race between who gets on Alvin's nerves the most. Wow, I'm being ninja'd even on the OOC thread. @Chim: She doesn't mind sharing~
  14. "Awww, they beat us to it!" Danielle pouted as Lana and James got the last battlefield. In a second, she gave a wide grin and yelled, "Good luck in your match, Lana and James!" Danielle then walked around the arenas with Avis flying around looking at each of the Pokemon's move from above when they all heard: "I was sleeping with a girl!" Danielle quickly turned to the direction the sound was coming from. It turns out that the voice belonged to Shiro, who seems be freaking about sleeping with a girl... right in front of Professor Cadmus?! "Ooookaaayyy... Either I am missing something, or Shiro is having identity issues..." Since there wasn't much to do since the battlefields are all taken up, she walked up to Shiro and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hi, Shiro! Looks like Shun recovered from the burn from yesterday! So, what's up?" Corona looked on at Shiro and Shun, curiously, from the safety of Danielle's arms. Surprisingly, she seemed to be enjoying the scene instead of being shy and curling up. Avis continued observing everyone silently from above, trying to contain her excitement. She was estatic about having a battle really soon; Avis may have a disadvantage against a Lapras and, to a lesser degree, a Trapinch, but she has tricks up her sleeve, or rather, her wing.
  15. I'm not familiar with the competitive scene (even though I watch Pokemon Youtubers), so I would probably use the damage calc just to get a general sense of each of the Pokemon's stamina. *Is currently playing with it now to see how frail Murkrow is*
  16. Thanks Chim! Danielle is officially having a troll team! :3 I think that counts as support as well? I recall Chimchain giving an example with Gary and Rapid Spin. EDIT: Ninja'd by the host.
  17. Are there any restrictions to recovery moves? I was thinking about centering Danielle's team around recovery (status or HP).
  18. Seeing that Evan didn't need any help, Danielle stood up herself. "Yeah, what Colin said. You know I still owe you one!" she managed a small smile. As Claude went to challenge Colin to a battle, she turned to Jacob in order to get their battle underway. "Well, I guess now that the situation is resolved, and two of the battles finished, there is only one thing left for us to do!" she exclaimed. "Let's battle! Whoever wants to see me get beaten up, just follow us!"
  19. "I'm not too sure myself, Jacob." Danielle shrugged. "Well, Evan is the one that just got Scalded by the Professor. I met him yesterday and he was explaining to me about the battle system and such. And the other boy with the brown hair is Alvin. He is obsessed with bugs, cannot take jokes, and he is a homophobe." At the last part, Corona gave Danielle a confused look, prompting Danielle to giggle with embarrassment. She forgot that Corona and Jacob didn't know about the relationship she has with Alvin. "Oh, the last part is a joke. I really don't know if he is one, but he didn't react too well when I asked if he was gay~" she told Corona and Jacob. Danielle walked over to Evan's side and kneeled down, careful to avoid crushing the Larvesta that is now snuggling comfortably in her arms. "Hey, are you okay?" she asked, concerned for his safety. A Scald does have a chance of burning the target, as far as she knows. And, this time, Avis can't really fly over to her dorm quick enough to mitigate the harshest effects of a burn.
  20. “I’ll make you pay… laughing with people that can’t walk anymore…” Evan mumbled to Alvin. "I guess that struck a nerve? Wait... That happened this morning too, didn't it?" Danielle thought to herself. She was about to ask Evan what happened when Alvin, in his haste to break away, collided into her, sending her straight to the ground in surprise. “Can’t you watch where you’re going, brute?” Alvin asked Danielle none too politely. Before she had any time to make a smart comment, Evan, once again, grabbed him by the collar when a burst of hot water shot right past her. Danielle quickly got back up and found Evan lying on the ground. Her Pokemon, meanwhile, scrambled to her side, they sat on each shoulder. “Hot water for a hothead,” Phoebe said patting her pink Jellicent. “Oh and you both have detention for fighting. Anyone else involved?” "..." Danielle remain speechless as Jacob came over and asked her what went down. She brushed herself off of the dust and dirt before replying. Avis was pecking out the grass bits from her hair while Corona crawled into her master's arms, evidently shaken by the events that just unfolded. Danielle brought the little Larvesta close to her chest. "That," she gestured towards Evan and Alvin with a nod, "is what happened."
  21. "Evan!" Danielle cried as she ran over to where Evan was dragging Alvin to the nearest arena. "Look, I know Alvin is a pain in the butt, and I know you are going to settle it with him in a battle, which is totally fine. But you being angry isn't going to help you in a battle! You're putting your Pokemon at risk! Please calm down!" "So, do you know why that guy has it out for Alvin, y'know, aside from the obvious?" Claude asked the group. "Oh, thank goodness you're here, too!" Danielle sighed with relief. "I'm not exactly sure, but might have to do with earlier..." She recalled how Evan had the urge to strangle him when they met up again this morning. Avis flew back to Danielle, ready to strike in case Evan or Alvin makes a wrong move. Corona crawled down once more and stood besides Danielle, also ready at her command, although she was clearly shaking like a leaf due to her being around so many people and Pokemon at once. Little sparks of fire are beginning to emit around her small caterpillar body again. ((Those sparks are Flame Body.))
