    DarkLight The rollout chain attack was broken when Marill flew high up in the air. She knew what to do and without receiving a command she fired another barrage of bubbles towards Zared. Both Lady and Kristen knew that was the only hope of getting out of this one. If the bubbles were enough to make Zared miss, Lady still had a chance. If not she would be knocked out. ((You can decide if you hit or not.))

    “Enyo,” Logan stated. “She and that sea serpent of hers were rampaging through the streets. That thing became really powerful in a short amount of time. I wouldn’t want to face her.” ((In that case we can wander around forever!))

    That wouldn't do too much damage so I'll keep it like it is this time. And I'm too lazy to change it

    DarkLight Marill was still rolling and her speed increased, allowing her to dodge the incoming Hidden Power attacks. “Go get them Lady!” her trainer cheered her on as she prepared to roll over Zared. ((I dodged because I don’t know what kind of Hidden Power Jared has and don't know how many damage it should do. It works like the games and can only have 1 type)) Stratos Evan sighed. This would mean he accepted the attention seeking bird and officially worked for whatever organizations those guys belonged to. He probably already did when he evolved Eevee but in his mind that was necessary to win that battle so it didn’t really count. The student carefully patted Skarmory on the head and received nudges to continue if he stopped for even a second. In the meantime, while her trainer was occupied, Faith made her way to Evan’s right side. She saw an extra Pokéball hanging and felt bored. She wanted to play with the others and poked her trainer. Once she got his attention she made her point. “You want to play with the others? Alright, but don’t interfere with the ongoing battles!” A Vaporeon and Vulpix were released. The water type stared at the weird Skarmory while the latter found her way to Mareek and his Cubone. “Pix?” She sniffed.

    Yes. Big rocks that linger around and damage whenever you switch in. You can get rid of them by using something like Rapid Spin or by using powerful attacks. See it as a rocky field anime style where Pokémon sometimes hide behind rocks (SR isn't as big though) but only half the field is effected.

    "Never mind." Logan quickly climbed down again. "There's a heavy battle going on and I prefer not to get caught in the middle. Let's move along," he informed Lars. ((Lars can take the lead. Logan is probably the worst in the squad when it comes down to finding your way back))

    DarkLight The bite attack wasn’t very effective, but Marill still took damage from being smacked into the ground. “Quick, Rollout!” The water type formed a ball while her tail was still in between Zared jaws. Lady started to roll at a rapid pace and tried to lift Jared over her to slam him into the ground. Even if it didn’t work she would free herself. Stratos “Come over here, Skarmory!” Evan said quickly before things got out of hand. The bird immediately stopped and rushed over way too fast and collided with her trainer, knocking him over. Evan mumbled something and pushed the ball against the steel bird. The capture was successful and the student felt relieved. Maybe this was the best way after all to get away from the stalking. Unfortunately Skarmory had other plans. She popped out of the Pokéball and started rubbing against Evan this time. “What did I do to deserve this?” he complained. “And watch out where you put those razor sharp wings of yours!”

    DarkLight Does she want to turn this into a contest or something with those sparkles? Or does she just want some attention? It doesn’t matter. I’m going to finish this as soon as possible. “Dodge it and get close to use Aqua Tail!” The blue watermouse was slow and barely dodged the incoming fairy wind, before her tail became surrounded with water. She made her way towards Zared and was ready to hit him in the face.

    “In that case I guess this way is good as any other,” Logan said taking the lead. He saw an opening to a manhole not far from them and decided to peak through. “Well the good news is that I don’t see any enemies and we’re still in the city. The bad news is that I have no idea where we are…”

    DarkLight “I actually thought this battle would be challenging,” Kristen remarked. “I see you have a new Pokémon and it looks lame as always. Go, Lady, show them how it’s done!” A red flash revealed Kristen’s first partner to be a Marill. The little water mouse seemed to have a happy personality as she waved her little arms to the public. Without waiting, or giving a warning, Kristen started the battle. “Use Bubble Beam!” Lady listened and a series of bubbles quickly made their way to Zared. Stratos Evan stared at the Pokéball. “Thanks,” he said reluctantly. He wasn’t really sure if he even wanted to catch the steel bird. He postponed the actual capture and used his lack of battle points as an excuse. It was no secret he had trouble earning points with his grades and had to earn them with battles instead. The downside was that he didn’t earn much and almost all his points went to food and medicine for his team. He could barely afford the amount to join the Winter Cup but he was determined to enter and win. That way he could get a large amount at the same time and finally could stop wondering about being able to eat next week. Skarmory also noticed the Pokéball and heard what Mareek said. She walked over and rubbed against the trainer, much like a Persian would do, to thank him and get some affection at the same time. Lana decided not to interrupt the conversation as her two friends were starting to get to know each other. Instead she focused on Danielle's upcoming battle.

    Murdoc, ExLink and DarkLight Alastair wanted to call forward Danielle and Slade when he was interrupted by Tyron. “Hey, Alastair, that Kenny kid never showed and I don’t see him. He probably went back to bed or something so I count this as a forfeit. However the other student would still like to battle so I’m taking a student with me.” He looked on Alastair’s paper and called out another student. “Slade Kafkin!? Come with me! You’re going to battle at my field!” Slade had no option but to obey and as he followed Tyron he saw that his opponents were Kage and his Tyrunt. Alastair sighed. Now he had to puzzle again. “Alright Danielle Chastain and Kristen Brown; please make your way to the remaining field for your battle.” Stratos “She evolved in the forest after my accident,” Evan replied. “I ran into a little trouble with wild Pokémon and she protected me.” He then stared at Mareek who questioned him about the Skarmory. Damn, already? I know Devin and probably Professor Redwood are going to ask a lot of questions but now students as well? Talking about leaving a mess… I guess they aren’t that professional after all. “The Skarmory found me. I was knocked out for a little while and when I came by she was there. I didn’t catch her or anything but she just follows me around. If you want you can have her.” The steel bird in question was still chatting with Faith when her attention was drawn by the Cubone. “Skaaar?” she tilted her head and studied this new face. It wasn’t her first time seeing this particular species but they were always shipped off immediately amongst other ground types. What was so special about them anyway? By what she could tell they got a new trainer named Mist while she had to wait for months.

    I'm so tempted right now to just go ahead and put Slade against Kage. I think it would be more interesting if Kristen faced Danielle.

    Stratos Evan wasn’t paying any attention to what was happening around him. He was completely unaware the Skarmory was staring at Mareek and that there was a Cubone gazing at him. “Hi Nemo, it’s nice to meet you!” Lana was in her element. She really loved ground type Pokémon and had a soft spot for the story related to Cubones. “And this is Evan,” she said pointing at the boy next to her, who was still watching the ongoing battles. “Hmm? Did you say anything?” Evan suddenly asked. His eyes were still fixated on the battle between Claude and Robert. Before Lana could reply the steel bird decided she wanted some spotlight. “Skaaar!” she said hopping to the middle of the group and drawing Clefairy’s attention. The fairy walked over and started chatting to the Skarmory. Their trainer failed to introduce them to each other so both Pokémon took matters into their own hands. “Evan, when did you evolve Faith?” Lana asked surprised.

    Skarmory and Zubat are tokens. Skarmory (is he uses it) is extra power added in battle and Crobat (if he gets that) can mess around even more. I can annoy with that thing to no end. Pokes I planned: Vaporeon, Clefable, Ninetales (originally Houndoom but Ninetales fits him better) and Medicham. Possible additions: Crobat / Skarmory (at least one of the two) and Cofagrigus, Swampert, Tangrowth. Unfortunately the ones I think fit Evan are all walls and no speed. (Aside from the Zubat but that serves another purpose.)

    I was thinking about Sawsbuck but he would serve the same purpose as Medicham and possibly Swampert. Edit: I'm not giving him a Sableye xD

    Speaking about teams; I still haven't decided on Evan's team. Medicham will be his next but after that I have no idea. I was thinking Cofagrigus to mess around with opponents but that would make his team too slow. Or maybe a Tangrowth.

    Dobby is still around so he'll post when he has the time. I'm not sure about K_H but ifhe doesn't respond in 7-8 hours Slade is going to face Kage.

    Small update about new PCs: Snap is still lurking around and will join Chapter 3, Tomas Elliot doesn't have enough time anymore so he won't join and Panda didn't respond. If he doesn't by the time Chapter 3 starts he's too late.

    Stratos “I saw your battle,” Lana said a little insecure. It was obvious Mareek didn’t like the outcome. “It was unfortunate you lost, but you did a great job! I think that Cubone of yours is really cute and that tactic with Porygon was really smart.” She just hoped she didn’t say anything wrong and Mareek would cheer up a little. Evan’s Skarmory walked behind Lana and started to stare at Mareek. Yet another interesting human, but she already saw this one. Was it a friend of her trainer? Tacos, Elf and Turbo Phoebe watched Henry leave and turned her attention to Ryan. “Well, I guess you win.” She signaled Alastair to announce the next battle. The breeder took his list and cleared his throat again. “The next battle is between Kyle Burlinksi and Robert Parkhurst. Good luck to both of you!”

    Stratos are you going to place Logan and Lars in the city or can I say Logan didn't see anyone when they got out the sewers?

    I thought he couldn't post for the past week and that he would be back by now... I can always change my last post so we don't hold things up.

    In that case: your feeling is wrong xD However I gave away I would battle Slade with Kristen to experience his OP Magnemite myself. I'm not going to lie as I have seen some progress from him and trust him enough to put him against another PC. That would mean the NPCs won't be battling so there is a chance Claude is going to face Danielle.

    I voted yes for both. I would at least read some of the work in the IW and I'm interested in sports.
