If your team is the same as your trainer card, I have little doubts that it easily overpowered Ciel o-o not to imply she was rly hard or anything but often the difficulty is based on your team

IF any butterflies had megas, that'd also make sense given that his team has 2 butterflies but yeah, Beedrill it is

I was more like trying to reconfirm whether at any point of the game, Shadow Ball TM existed outside of being a post-Shade battle gift, since I recall getting a duplicate TM at some point but not sure if it was Shadow Ball or something else

Are you sure, I think I recall the TM for Shadow Ball existing somewhere in the game ( I have a faint memory of thinking "wow thnx game, I totally didn't already have this TM from shade" )

is it confirmed he uses normal types though? Imean I mightve missed it so idk , but is it confirmed or is it speculation due to him having a ditto? Also while his child hates him, I think a mega kanga could represent something other than his child helping him, but just the fact that his plot is largely involving his child + "minions"

What I want most in life is to have a stable life and make a family with my loved one, while also having true friends, be they very few or even only one. Naturally, for a stable life, in this world you need enough money, so well, I want a stable job too. My dream has always been to make my own comics or get a job involving that or...drawing cartoonish/mangaish stuff. At this point , it probably won't happen, but wellp, it's a topic about what we want so :v

I think a mega serving as the offhand ace is good and reasonable in cases where mega=ace just doesn't fit, so will be lookin' forward to what the remaining gym leaders have in store for us! --------------------------------- As for general opinions on megas and gym leaders- Well, Ame stated most of them will probably have a mega, that doesn't have to mean every single one will, but for the sake of speculation, I'll just give my guesses on possible megas for each remaining person, whether or not they'll end up having a mega at all Well, like probably everyone else, I think Adrienn will have a mega Mawile. It kind of fits him to be honest, with Mawile being a fairly good portrayal of an androgynous pokemon (Imean it can be male and female but to me it looks largely female, appearance wise, so wellp) There's also mega Audino , Megardevoir and Megaltaria, ofc, but for obvious reasons I don't think it'd be any of them Titania- Possibilities include mega Aggron, mega Steelix, Megagross, mega Lucario and mega Scizor... Somehow the only thing I can imagine her with is a Scizor because I really just can't picture Titania as a... well, defensive type. I know mega Aggron has enough of a monstrous attack stat too but yeah, its power is primarily the monstrous defense it has. Same can be said for mega Steelix, also it reminds me of the gargantuan Steelix we faced. I don't wanna picture a mega Lucario simply because of Kiki, idk... just.. I'd go with Scizor or Megagross, though since we already saw a metagross with Radomus, I'd just go with Scizor..it somehow fits the most- :i I mean, Titania likes cutting and slashing things.. Ohyea and there's ofc Mega Mawile as a steel type too, but...for obvious reasons I don't think it's an option Hardy- Well, I don't know enough of him yet apart from him being a chill dood who is crushing hard on Aya but well- let's see. Mega Aerodactyl, Mega T-tar... well so much for options. I somehow can't see him with a Megadactyl so I'd go with the Megatar. Saphira- for obvious reasons, ruling out Megaltaria here, other than that I'd rule out Megamence for the sole reason that it seems to be Heather's ace and I think it'd be quite...just..dno, meh, if someone else used its mega, and not even as their prime ace. Sooo, we're left with mega Sceptile, Megazard X, Megampharos, Megachomp. Would rule out Megachomp too because--- Well, it was already weird enough to see Solaris AND Terra wield a 'Chomp as their ace, so we don't really need a 3rd char with a chomp imo. I don't see Saphira and Megampharos fitting together. Her brutality and the cute demeanor of Megamphy, pls. :i That leaves us with mega Sceptile and mega Zard X. Tbh, somewhat, I could see her with either one of these, but because Zard x has a dark appearance and looks a bit more "evil" , it'd probably go to Lin if at all (as superficial as that sounds, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) Aaaand Amaria. If I must be completely honest here, I can't see any current water mega fitting Amy :i Just..you know. She uses a Lapras and a Kingdra...that's liek.. MAJESTIC AND GRACEFUL OK??????????????? Mega milotic, why do you not exist?? You'd totally fit her :i Okok... wellp. If I had to really choose one, it wouldn't be Megapedo (gebus that sounds so wrong) because..just.. no. Mega Blastoise looks too barbaric to belong to Amaria, pls. Mega Slowbro... um... uh... :i no. Mega Swampert resembles a hulk-> barbaric, no! And then we have Megyarados ............ Well. :i It doesn't really fit her either imo, but... I CAN somewhat see her having one. It is majestic in its own..scary way.. And that's that.. I believe the E4 members should also wield megas, even Lin. I won't speculate about Lin yet since I'm not even sure if she's miltitype or not, but something akin to a Mega Houndoom would fit her probably. Needless to say, Heather and Mega Salamence. Laura, EX E4 or no, her ace is Liligant, but she can have a .. um... dno, I don't see with either mega sceptile, venusaur or obamasnow :i If Anna's ace is Gothitelle..that feels so underwhelming somehow, idk why, just... maybe I should actually go look up Gothitelle. But well, Anna is supposedly very high ranked so I'm sure she'd have a mega.. She's psychic, so .. mega alakazam? Mega medicham no for Kiki reasons, Megallade also no for Victoria and Kiki reasons, though Radomus had one too.. Megagross?_? um.. dno doesn't fit her.. Megardevoir could, but Radomus. If any "he's their father" theories hold true, it could be plausible she has a pokemon he owns as well, so who knows. Mega Slowbro just..doesn't fit anyone :i .-.. I'd just go with mega alakazam. El.... er. yeah idk If Bennett becomes an E4, he could own a mega scizor, heracross, beedrill or pinsir. I can see him with a mega Beedrill tbh ok this turned into a long rant, I'll just stop here

I guess I got no idea , probably been way too long since I played a mainseries pokemon game, notsure why it was somehow engraved in my head that it's 05 :i My bad Wellp, in that case, can agree STR is quite dark, though it's kinda a different type of "dark" to me. You had to see Kiki die to obtain it, yep, but the bicycle voucher is the "haunting" ominous kind of dark I think, just has a different feel to it for me And Waterfall, well, I still can't get that one :i I mean, yeah we already witnessed Eclipse and her fate, seeing Aster possibly give you waterfall later on is ?_? idk I just don't feel it, it's disconnected for me. Hell, I believe finding her father and him not wanting to believe his daughter is dead is dark and tragic

Well, that IS why I asked what HM05 is again, though I see people mentioning STR and waterfall up there :i Can agree to Strength since it is HM05 in the maingames but wasn't sure if people meant HM05 in that sense or the HM05 in reborn, so wellp

Congrats to all who made it. I just wish to say a few words on this which I believe to be "reasonable". Simply, when doing things like this in the future, I would readjust your requirements. As of now, it stated no experience was required, and yet most, if not all of the selected people have prior experience. While that's a logical thing to account for when making a choice, I believe it can give false hope to some people that their lack of experience may not matter. In fact, I think, after reading the entire first post and comments on the selection, the only way lack of experience wouldn't matter is if most of the total applicants had none. As such, for the future, I'd opt to mention at the very least that experience is required or given priority to, if present. The second thing I'd adjust in the requirements is the fact that people will likely be given priority if they have been part of this community for a while, or at least have been actively involving themselves with the community. That again is what I derive from the choice comments. That a person hardly stood a chance if they just joined or if they had lurked around and decided to join solely for the purpose of becoming part of the team and helping out with bugs and stuff. Obviously, I don't exactly know how the selection process went down, but from comments stating that it was a no-brainer to select someone who has had a buttload of experience, that's the basic gist I get to, and as such, that's my opinion that some details should be mentioned in future requirements of such recruitment, simply for the purpose of not giving certain people false hope that they stand a chance. ( I can already foresee the replies I'll get to this but wellp) I haven't applied for this myself, so it doesn't concern me directly, but if I were an applicant, that's how I'd feel at least. That said, I am by no means trying to say or sound like I'm implying that the selected people don't or won't be deserving of their position, I just wanted to give my 2cents on the matter. :[keepitclean]:

Connal's story comes from the Gossip Gardevoir interview with him I believe also, it's all well that parents may have been in the E4, but I don't think that's a title that is...passed down. I mean, it's a question of skill, not bloodline :i Or should be.. What bothers me the most is ... The known and possible members of the current E4 + champion are.....either 10yr olds stuck in a cray cray asylum/orphanage, or scattered all over the place/are on the seemingly evil side. I mean, theoretically, are we, the player, + people like Cain etc , the only challengers in the entire place? If certain gym leaders can't even be tracked down or battled, it's kind of illogical to me. Like, Heather is E4, Anna is stated to be "even higher" i.e. E4 or champ , yet she's stuck in that place doing nothing and unable to do anything. How did she even get the chance to display the skill worthy of being an E4/champ without the chance to :i One can argue about Heather since she still had a father before, yet he didn't let her do much of anything either.. It just baffles me when I start thinking about the fact that the league largely consists of children who often can't be left to act freely

Radomus doesn't pose a threat because he doesn't work well with double and because his ACE is counter-productive during trick room :i Really, your scrafty could potentially carry the match for you if you preserve it. Arcanine as well is enough of a beast,as is mamoswine.

"Wait 'till you obtain HM05" , if it's Waterfall, I don't find it dark or even darker than the bicycle one. I mean, for one it's optional to be given it by Aster, furthermore you're already aware of what happened to Eclipse and Aster giving you the HM doesn't bring up anything imo.
