  1. I think you should just ask to get a ghost and fairy starter+ helping mons and then roll with those + iggly
  2. I think the "issue" with the rain one is that it looks ...well, slow and underwhelming for a rainy weather. Maybe some people wish to see more intense raining, but wellp, to me it doesn't really matter, still looks cool And fog is uhhh, yeah annoying, really annoying when everything misses.
  3. You can get a scrafty indeed. That thing can OHKO at least 50% of Serra's team with HJK, and all of them possibly with moxie boost. Get an Arcanine, another fire option. Litleo and Magnezone as already suggested. The team you see on my signature's card is what I used against Serra and had to reset only once because I had a bad lead. As you can see, it's ridden with things that are weak to ice, even quadruple, yet it wasn't hard. As for your team- Smack Down on Greninja can help you, Donphan can help you(train it up if it gets 1shot) , your Houndoom, I'm not so sure, Houndoom was never among the super good fire or dark types, but fire is fire. Ghosts probably won't do much so you can replace them with any of the suggested mons . Hypno as well, I'm not sure what it can do or can't do. My poison run's Nidoking helped me a lot vs Serra regardless of being weak to Ice so consider that too, over ghosts or hypno
  4. Since your question was already answered, I'll just comment here on the fact that I think PULSE is not only a twisted counterpart to mega evolution, but also 10times more powerful, since you see PULSE mon having an effect on entire cities and such
  5. Gonna go with a top 5 5. Pokemanz Y - 1st game(s) to a new generation. The plot was mediocre but I enjoyed the features and the locations. The music and the introduction of new graphics, also customization. Generation 6's pokemon are also not the worst we've had. Somehow it ended up being the game I ended up spending the most time playing after the main story was done, even though it lacks post-game content. 4. ORAS (OR to be specific) - I've always liked Gen 3. It was the one generation with a tremendous amount of water, and yet also the one generation where I always find myself without a water/fire/electric type in my team due to wanting a full hoenn-origin team and yet not liking any of the said types enough to use 'em. Water only present if I'd choose Mudkip. I liked the changed story elements in ORAS. They made things better by introducing primal reversion as a reason why Groudon/Kyogre go mad. Shame for the lack of game corner, but the scenery was awesome. RSE were always with that "adventure in the wilderness" feel. I like OR more because to me, a better and more logical canon plot is somebody trying to expand the landmass rather than people trying to expand the sea when the planet is already 70% or more water...also makes no sense for the sake of pokemon because it's not like anything apart water types can survive drowned in water.. 3. BW 2(White 2)- Arguably the best story/plot for me. That was when Pokemon dared to go in a slightly different direction(reinforced from gen 4) and flesh out the bad guys more than usual. While Gen 5 is among my least favorite pokemon-wise, The experience and features made up for it. It was a bit disappointing that initially you could only catch unova pokemon, but all is well. It's among the games I've ended up replaying a lot of times. I like White 2 more because, like ORAS, I believe the better canon is that N has Reshiram of the 2, since what Reshiram represents fits his character more. 2. Platinum- Quite liked the gen itself, the E4 was probably the most engaging one for me at least (well, more so in Diamond than Platinum but yeah). Looker, nice story, more memorable bad guys. The one thing I really dislike in Gen 4 are the starters. Design-wise, I always pick Chimchar because it's the least of all evils in my eyes. The anime did a good job making me hate Piplup. The distortion world was a very nice feature and I'd really like to see something akin to Delta episode if we ever get remakes 1. Crystal/HGSS- Well, the game you start out with somehow always holds a special place in your heart. HGSS made everything better, but still kind of missed the thrill of the mystery surrounding Suicune and such. I have always loved Johto most of all, even in the anime. The story was simple back then, but introduced a double region, which was quite nice. The game was simple too, but I really liked simple things back when I played Crystal- from the phone calls giving you random gifts to the random department store sales and the 1st battle tower. HGSS also brought back the pokemon following you feature, and seeing a Johto with better graphics was always a plus. 0. Special feature for Reborn- being the best fanmade game I ever played. Plot, characters, bad guys, features, having to put effort into finding certain pokemon, more challenge, field effects, the concept of PULSES. Just everything in this game is awesome and I wish the maingames would dare to one day cross that line and venture into the more realistic and dark plots. P.S. I never liked Kanto nor any of its games much so that one takes last place
  6. Is the last one strong winds? They look cool
  7. Does it go like " x ignored orders- x used -insert move you ordered anyway- " ? Or doesn't even say its trying to disobey?
  8. And here I was thinking that Bennett makes way better use of the field than Serra... It's really not as hard nor as op as ppl claim What is even your team? Did you even encounter most event-mons ? The way you said all this sounds as if you went on an adventure with a team of the 1st pokemon you found in a grass patch
  9. I think your opinion isn't so unpopular anymore
  10. 1. Seasons- I really miss those. I loved them and I think it makes the adventure way better, also adding new things for new seasons , areas etc 2. Pokemon Following You- That has always been one of my favorite features ever since Yellow. While it did make a return for HGSS, it...wasn't quite the same. I wish the pokemon had animated reactions like the pikachu in Yellow. I think pokemon amie is currently used as a cheap replacement for that feature..somewhat 3. Contests/Concerts- Never cared about concerts, never even got them... But after experiencing contests in ORAS again, I really wish to see the feature return in more games. 4. Puddles- don't even quite remember these but if they freeze in winter, then there's enough reason to bring them back 5. Fog- while I always hated that weather, I do believe it fits certain areas so maybe it should make a return somewhen 6.Trainer Customization - it was a neat new feature, finally getting to pick your trainer's design. I'd like to see it return, but hey, it's relatively new, it's too early to think it won't! 7. Underground Mining - yes please. It was quite fun, and while we do get to relive the experience here in Reborn, I still wish to see it return in the main games too 8. Secret Bases- I liked them but somehow got to try them out properly yet. I plan on doing so soon, but ultimately I don't really care if they make more returns 9. Rebattling Gym Leaders- Loved the way they made it in HGSS, having to meet them on specific days in specific places during specific times in order to get their number for rebattling. Definitely wanna see this return 10. Battle Frontier- never properly experienced those, so never got too attached, but ORAS could have used the return of the frontier imo.. 11. Movies - I grew quite fond of those...like.. really a lot. I like the concept and wish to see movies return with new scenarios and characters..and costumes! 12. Join Avenue- another feature from unova which was oddly fun in its own way. I'd like to see it again for sure 13. Game Corner- needless to say, FLIPPING VOLTORBS UNTIL THE WORLD ENDS!!! Bring those back! 14. Hidden Grotto- got mixed feelings on those.. it was an interesting, yet quite annoying concept. Don't really care if it returns can't think of others atm, there might be more though
  11. That's exactly how I felt when I started. It was everything I ever wished to see in a pokemon game. And I like how Reborn incorporates many real life themes as well. Just, kudos to Ame.
  12. Where exactly do you get Fennekin O: ? I guess I missed it
  13. Always had that unappreciation for the Rock and Steel types...like .. I've used them a few times but they never manage to win me over much. Only rock types I like are the Amaura and Tyrunt lines, and steel.. wellp, Lucario and Mawile I: Other than that, I don't often use Ghosts because well... dno, they seem like they hardly cover anything somehow, unless dualtyped. That said, I do like many ghosts but I just.. don't use em. I have vowed that when Reborn is finished, and I do my last playthrough, I will use a Mismagius ! I:
  14. game looks niiiice, can't wait to see it finished
  15. Wonder if we'll ever have to battle another reserve leader O:
  16. I think there's no specific info on that particular thing^
  17. I think there should be an item clause for dem battles, has a better feel to it. Needless to say, it's always fun watching any of 'em
  18. That's quite the surprise there, Serra of all leaders makin you struggle so much. She always felt like a bigger joke than even her son in all my ep 14-15 playthroughs i: Wellp, good to know you enjoy the game, it really is an awesweet one
  19. Good that it won't be preschooler pokemon saving the world Now we're talking. Also, Mawile <3 and Buizel <3
  20. Kanto: +Sabrina/ -Brock Kanto timeskip: +Janine/-Brock Johto: +Jasmine/- Chuck Hoenn: ( hard choice i: so torn) +Winona/-Wattson Sinnoh: +Volkner/-Crasher Wake Unova: +Elesa/-Burgh Unova timeskip: +Roxie/- Burgh Kalos: +Viola/-Olympia Reborn: +Titania/-Terra
  21. I'm no competitive pro so I'ma just post my own "foreveralone on the table" list, i.e. what I absolutely never take in any run (Gen 3 is probably the one gen where I end up torn on what to take every time I play a gen3 game i: ) 5. Chespin - I really loathe the path they took with its evolution design and would rather not have to look at it at all 4. Tardwig - Really disliked everything up till Torterra, and 'Terra itself wasn't all that much 3. Tepig- can't compare to the others before it and hated its evolution line much like chespin's 2. Bulbasaur- hate Venusaur's design and the other 2 are just so much better 1. Chikorita- yeah. well... the other posts pretty much said it all
  22. Just to give my 2cents on the evolution method ideas Shenreon- well I generally dislike trade evolution so.. nothing to add here i: Toxeon- isn't too annoying and is perfectly possible. You can say it's about as annoying as having to travel to a Moss/Ice rock for leafeon and glaceon Zephreon - perfectly reasonable I'd say. As annoying as Sliggoo evo method Spectreon - I really don't see how you can do this.. Well you can but it's incredibly annoying. 1. Send out eevee against a random opponent. Have Eevee lvl up as trainer sends out a 2nd pokemon. Let Eevee faint against it and then it can evolve. Said method would only work during a multipokemon trainer battle. 2. Use rare candy on fainted eevee? Overall I think the method is a bit too much Oreon... I still don't consider this as a real thing o_o I mean..really? P.S. @ Stratos- that WAS actually the method I had in my mind for muh Toxeon's evolution. Lvl up in wasteland
  23. It could be that your file is somehow damaged, you can try the troubleshooting section by posting your save there if you want. Before resorting to that, feel free to provide screenshots of missing npcs in rooms and proof that you opened all the gates , it helps P.S. also try talking with everyone again, sometimes things are triggered only after conversation
