  1. Ahh, attempting face drawings, eh? Well, it's a good start for a cartoon-esque drawing that's unique in its own way, and the way you're drawing it is unique and sort of abstract. Try to expand your drawings more!
  2. *clears throat*. So Strat, when's everything going to be bumped? Also, I have a one month inactivity period because of major exams in November as a heads up -- I recall telling you of it already?
  3. Pretty solid natures all around -- you must be pretty lucky. In any case, this is looking to be a pretty solid run, so good luck to the times ahead.
  4. You're required to put a scenario where Team Meteor or whatever evil organization is going to drop a netful of Voltorbs/Geodudes/anything that can use Explosion from the sky to destroy some place. What's the best way you can make a character (or a group of characters) stop it? P:S By stop it I mean stop it in mid air while it's falling down and say 15 seconds or less from exploding. Psychic won't stop them from going boom.
  5. QOTD: I care for people and sometimes do it too much not because I'm a good person. It's because I've lived my life knowing what it means to be uncared for.

  6. RIP 60% of my kouhai tutoring salary

  7. Tfw you want to share your lore work but your MOBA higher-ups prohibit me leaking lore reworks. Why can't I get criticism from people especially when you guys already know you're not good at this stuff?

Lore RE-works? oh god no! (I hate lore re-works because then I have to learn my lore from scratch again... :P)

You won't find details about me because it's done in secret and confidential, but Heroes of Order and Chaos.

  8. Soloing' Luna with my own Bisharp (thanks for having a dumb Bisharp set of your own Luna) and Noel with my own Cinccino, both 1 v 6, the former of which I've done twice. Feels great to do both (mostly the former because I despise Luna and Bisharp is my bb) The Solaris battles and Samson/Ciel were also very rewarding, but lacked the satisfaction of the first two in general.
  9. Huh, I anticipated a different answer, frankly, but here, have a few more while I'm having these questions: -This probably isn't something I should ask here but checking out the Field Effects and stuff, does the High Striker Field actually affect Fly? Does "an extravagant aerial finish" allude to a boost or is it just something you put there out of a thematic sense? -What do you do to surmount negative emotions and bad times? -What are your thoughts of manga adaptions into anime, particularly ones that are badly done so?
  10. This is the first time writing cogitations have been this good. 35k words (not on a single project) within 8 hours today while having a flu? I can't help but be proud of myself.

To be fair, father's who are in a panic over their worried daughter maybe aren't at their logical best.

Well, while that's true, it's not like I was doing anything suspicious. Maybe I just look like a bad guy is all

  13. ._. I guess gen 4 stall wasn't that bad, but I really wish to disagree with this statement. Viable, yes. Intelligent? No, at least not with how stall has evolved into, and not back then either. Stall won't prove you're intelligent in Pokemon at all, at least not as much as offense/balance does due to how stagnant the playstyle is. It's also one of the playstyles that heavily hinges on luck sometimes (*cough* para hax/misses *cough*) more so than it affects any other playstyle. Even then, Smogon's basis for bans and stuff are also heavily stall-favored, but I'll try not get too deep into this because it invites arguments sometimes. Of course and with all due respect, do take my words with a grain of salt since you know I am very anti-stall in general. Playing it is fine; the fact that you called it an intelligent style of play, even in Gen 4, heavily irks me though. Anyways, I'll reserve a talk about HO and weather play back in Gen 5 OU (when this thread gets to it) arguably the biggest power spike in Pokemon history, back when Deoxys-S and stuff were still in OU, Genesect/Torny-T dominance period before they got the hammer, to what it has settled down into. One thing's for sure though -- Politoed did massive things to OU at that time that I'm admittedly not the happiest about. This is all for later, though. and I'll drop stuff about gen 4 HO as well when I got the time.
  14. It isn't my fault that I became this way, but people still scorn and blame you for it. This is why it's difficult for people like myself to find acceptance in this world.

  17. Happy birthday Viri! I would've put more effort into this if I wasn't so busy and if so many bad things are happening right now, but here, have a small, albeit mundane present from yours truly: Have a great year ahead and that of the days to come.

  19. Haha, this brings back memories. It's been a long while since I last played this, so I guess I'll have to do a bit of research to see how things work, but yeah, reserve me a spot, if you could. "I want to focus on writing well rather than writing a lot" This is what also piqued me the most and something I intend to do as well for productivity, so kudos on making this, I'll PM you as soon as I can or ask questions
  20. Basically I just want the frame around my current sig to be dark, if you can work with the gif; otherwise I'm giving you another option that doesn't require a gif. Also, can you make sigs with links to threads/sites like the one you currently have? PS Will edit this with non-gif request form after work
  21. Well, yes, it's not, but you can't expect everyone to have seen the movie or read the book unless it's extremely popular. You can expect us to do research about it but elaborating it can help people reading your interest check in the event that they're not knowledgeable of the movie you're basing this idea from. The idea of the RP at question stays vague regardless and the lack of information in an interest check is still sort of an issue. If you want to determine if the topic at hand is viable and see how popular it is a few sentences won't do you that much good since people reading this aren't informed clearly of what the RP would be like. It's not as much the matter of the viability of the genre as it is on what makes your RP unique, what is going to happen, and what's important/interesting about it. Little is being said about your intentions apart from "I just watched this movie and wanted to base an RP on it" which like I have said doesn't give the best impression of what your RP's gonna look like. Things have grown to be more organized these days and all OOC threads have at least some form of character template that's required to be filled for an RPer's participation. This isn't to say "the old day methods" were bad nor this is something that's necessarily mandatory, but I can tell you that it's really beneficial to how an RP takes place. To put this back on topic, if I am to be interested more information needs to be given.
  22. While I'm probably not in the best position to give this out, I'll just say this: it's important to elaborate your ideas at least to the point where your audience gets a clear picture of what you intend to do and what is offered in this RP. "It would basically be just like a gifted roleplay, but with time travel and hollows and junk" doesn't exactly paint the most vivid picture of what you intend to establish. Some food for thought that's debatably necessary would include stuff like this: -What's the setting/theme of this RP? What's going on and what are you, the host, and us, the RPers, are to do within this established world? -Give a template for character creation. Is this a setting where we're just normal people or do we get powers or something questions, etc. -What important mechanics do your RPers require to know? You don't have to be super specific and elaborate about it, but at least outline something basic. Many OOC threads are great examples of how RPs are to be established scattered around this forum, so you could always check them out for ideas. More often than not, the more information given to RPers in an interest check, the more interest it may attract and spur.
  23. I don't know why Reborn isn't accepting these pictures, but have these bonsai I got from the National Orchid Park. I go there every year for visits and competitions from art to road runs.
  24. Sephtis So their excursion had extended to Johto; one of the harshest waters the soldiers had braved, he knew that -- and allowed a moment's worth of respect and recognition to well within him. The tragedy instead had happened in the historical city of Ecruteak, that of the vivid history Septhis was very familiar of; the once tranquil Ecruteak had since been called a city of tragedy – once many years ago. He could adumbrate it in the exact way the books did, the exact words bit by bit depicted by his parents and trainers in the stories they had given him since his youth- Two large towers once built – side by side, to the east and to the west -- to foster harmony. Then the unfortunate incident of a lightning bolt struck the eastern tower, leaving it in flames for three days. Many a day had a storm passed in an effort to quell the mysterious and uncontrollable blaze, but failed it had, and the tower had been burned down, its majesty lost in the flames. Three legends had died, albeit resurrected by the rainbow, the guardian of the skies, who had once – and perhaps – still visits and perches upon its own tower. Yet many had missed a glimpse of the Pokemon since then, the resplendent one rumoured to have wandered the lands in search of one with the purest heart; with its own tower destroyed, the guardian of the seas had turned The three revived Pokemon embodied the elements of the tragedy; the lightning that struck the tower, the bitter flames that had engulfed and destroyed it, and the northern harsh storms that had quelled it. With the guardians vanished and departed, the three Pokemon were feared and loathed by all at their emergence -- and knowing that, they fled and speed across the land, in hiding and in roaming.... Had they confronted these legends then? How bad was the situation in Ecruteak? Sephtis did not fear the bleak and macabre of the horrors out there, yet the Bisharp's conspicuously and increasingly disinclined demeanor had spurred him a moment's consideration of the latter's statement. His answer was obvious, however -- Sephtis was a perfectionist, and would not leave a story left hanging around, unfurnished and abandoned like the crooked expression plastered upon the Bisharp's expression like a splintered signboard. Sighed Sephtis did, fighting all rational and sympathetic cogitation that remained inside him; the more he knew, the better. He had come here for that very purpose. “Better vivid a story than one hung and abstruse, even if one bitter in content, good sir.” He said. “Please – do continue.”
  25. Secret is a very underrated movie. Rewatching it brought back all sorts of feels. And epic piano battles too!
