Oh Crawdaunt, he was actually going to be the sixth member of my original team design (that option was killed pretty quickly though). Definitely one of the more interesting ones considering Vicegrip was actually part of his final moveset.

(Important Action/Lane) Luna watched as the big man got up and ran away with some random student chasing right after him. Before Lane could even react, Luna grabbed his arm and began pulling him back into the pub. "Sorry, but I kinda still need you. Gotta have that big strong man in case something gets down." While that was merely a tease, she wasn't going to let Lane slip away so easily especially with his newly acquired shiny.

@Mumplefink: Funny story is that a storyboard I've been working on for a long while starts out with a character who originally had a backstory that started the book just like that backstory you have their (though his hometown doesn't get destroyed). It's not bad, but I just want to address a couple things. First thing is killing the gatekeepers. While killing an innocent Annean (basically someone who is deemed good) may be nowhere near as brutal as an Onishian killing an innocent of there own (you will be executed on the spot...no questions asked), I don't recommend it. People will find out and your character will be caught eventually. Even acts of violence are bad, but at least it is possible to get away with that (it will effect how some NPCs view you). As for burning the academy, that's more of Komodojoe's decision as the academy was his idea. Kelsey's a bit of a wild card if you want to include knowing her. If you lived in Deminbriar before she was recruited, she may recognize you, but if it was after, she would have no idea as she rarely can visit the church (at least I'm pretty sure I wrote that...I'll have to reread that little chunk). I'll give it an ok if she saw her a few times, but never really talked to her. @daj and mumple: What I'm probably going to do is give you guys a different objective than the training group and start you in a different area of Deminbriar. I'll PM you guys the details once I figure out who's still in once I straighten out this main group issue. I really don't want to have you guys wait until Chapter 2 (even though Chapter 1 is kind of short) to start. The only thing is that I might not let you guys participate in the boss fight, but I won't have you two twiddling your thumbs while that's going on.

Although it'd be ironic, if Ninetales is such a problem I can just take it off of Chim, but truthfully, it's not going to be as bad as you think having a fire type for a rain team. I mean I used an Azumarill in drought weather and the thing can still wreck a few mons under those conditions.

Zerron, I honestly feel Bastiodon is the Pokemon you're more looking for. It may not have Steelix's defense, but don't underestimate it. It is a very, very useful Pokemon to have in doubles and work well with your planned moveset with Erce.

I might actually pick up Rotom after Raiza's battle because of the sheer number of references that could be made (probably won't really grow any levels when ch 4 hits anyways). I know Henry would have five Pokemon, but it'd still be like he only has 3 at the end of the chapter.

@Chim: I can see why Pseudos wouldn't be to big of a deal especially with Megas being even stronger then those. Anyways, here's my real question: where in the bloody hell would you even find a Rotom? It lives in a forest, but is always found near technology, but we have a forest without technology I presume. The only idea I have is that one occasionally goes around screwing around with the school's machinery.

I already know this is gonna be an absolute no, but probably my best recommendation to replace Florges is with Mr. Mime. Fairy types are really lacking and he seems to be one of the few that can really help up that defensive side of you're team. You also don't have a Psychic or Fairy type from what I saw so it'd be killing two birds with one stone in this case.

Exlink and Dragonmasterkrim The Mercenary was about to kill the bearded man when he saw a man with an eye patch headed his way. He blocked the attack with the sword of his own. Big mistake. The last thing he would ever see is an axe swinging right at him. The bearded man chuckled seeing the beheaded man fall to the ground. “I think I might’ve overdone it a bit.” Meanwhile, the fire mage noticed the incoming thief who seemed deeply interested in his empty bag. “Sorry boy, I’m fresh out of potions, but I have plenty of fire to spare.” He readied the fireball when he saw an arrow headed his way which he managed to dodge this time. “Ha! And you consider yourself an archer. With an aim like that, you may as pick up a sword instead.” “I don’t miss,” Zach simply responded. Before either of them could react, the purple haired man lunged his lance right into the mage’s attacking hand. The pain made the mage release his attack causing it vanish into thin air, but he did manage to distance himself by throwing the book right at him though. The mage, now unarmed, then turned back and saw Yuri just a foot away from him. He got down to his knees and begged, “Please spare my life. This is all Crumwell’s doing. He’s ordered us to kill these people otherwise he’ll burn us ourselves. I’ll do anything. Anything.” While the battle was going on, the swordsman managed to pull a little girl from the building. Tears could be seen coming from her eyes, but other than that she seemed to be fine. The man set her down and began to speak, but he was still too far away for anyone to hear. Main Group The group put forth a great effort and managed to kill all of the enemies completely unharmed. This impressed the Halberdier watching from afar as he decided to break from the main group confronting these new foes. “That was quite a show you put on there,” he responded. “I have fought many battles, but never have I see a man with such strength.” He pointed to Virgil who was clearly enemy after enemy with little effort. “We Onishians may lose this battle, but even a single death will only draw us closer to victory. Normally I don’t fight weaklings as yourself, but given my options, I’ll take my chances. I promise a swift and fitting end to you all.” He then readied his lance prepared to attack. ((Sorry about skipping the fight there. I thought it might be easier on all of us to get to the real challenge. If anyone really wanted to finish that fight, just say so in the OOC otherwise, Epic Mini Boss is Go!!!!))

If I read it right, he's trying to smash you straight into the water. Destroying the platform was to kind of prevent Rogue from escaping. I probably would've been a bit confused if it weren't for that strategy name. Speaking of Heracross, it knowing Focus Blast made me go WTF until I saw Hera's special attack. Not much stronger than a Karate chop TBH.

I swear if you don't take Gallade, I will instantly change Machamp into a Gallade because it can do everything I need Machamp to and much more.

Henry watched Lana walk away when he suddenly realized something. "Crap! I'm missing Raiza's battle. I really don't want to miss both of them." He was about to head back when a Venonat popped out of her Poke Ball. "I don't have time for this. If you want, I'll let you eat all the berries I have left in my backpack while her battle is going on." The Venonat glared at her trainer for a minute but complied as she followed Rosie back into the stadium. Secretly, she had eaten all the berries a little bit ago, but this would be a good way to get out of that little scolding.

But what kind of gun? A gun-gun or a gun...gun.

I'm gonna work on an update for both groups that should be up tonight. As long as there's still at least 4 people interested I can continue the chapter. I'll be giving everyone else a heads up after I'm done if they didn't respond here. It's gonna be a kind of long one so give me a little bit.

I would laugh if Henry got a Camruptite before he even got a Camerupt or Mega "Ring." The funny thing is both Mega and Non-Mega Camerupt have two different playstyles. Let's just say I'll be really happy if someone tries fighting it with a Water Type.

I could only imagine what everyone in the bar is thinking after Luna's little performance. Luna ain't gonna let Lane's opponent get away so easily.

(Important Action/Lane) For a minute, Luna couldn't help but be in awe at the flashing card. She always liked looking straight into flashlights when she was little so this was really no big deal to her. She still hadn't realized it was the card. Her mind refocused when she saw the bouncer run right out the door. No way was she letting that coward get away. She then saw Lane in a little trance. "Lane, get a hold of yourself," she yelled while bitch slapping him across the face. "No way am I letting that guy get away so easily. But first..." She picked up the bottle of cola and quickly chugged it down. "Alright I'm ready. Let's go Lane. CHAAAAAAAARRRRGE!" With a warning, she sprinted right through the same doors the bouncer had left.
