  1. 1.) N's Castle [BW] 2.) Vs. Maxie/Archie [ORAS] 3.) Galactic Grunt Battle [DPPt] 4.) Ghetsis Encounter [BW] 5.) Final Battle with N [BW] The music in the original Black & White was sooooo good! I had to leave off a bunch of other themes that I like. Honorable mentions: • Rocket Hideout [RBY] • Vs. Cyrus [DPPt] • Rocket Grunt Battle [HGSS] • Plasma Grunt Battle [BW] • N's Castle Bridge [BW]
  2. These are just <3 Your style is unorthodox (while still cool might I add), but all 3 are consistent with each other, so I don't have any problems with them at all! ...except maybe the noses on Radomus and Julia, but that's probably just me nitpicking a bit too much. Oh, and it was an interesting choice to give Julia earrings
  3. Check out @Dai Laughing's YouTube channel of the same name. He has somehow managed to finish a Nuzlocke run all the way through the end of E16 and is still alive.
  4. Am I the only one who would move heaven and earth to see DuncanKneeDeep do a let's play of Reborn?

    1. Felicity

no, because heaven and earth are already in motion, thus no one can perform this feat.

Haha fine, you got me. I would [insert similar figure of speech here] to see that happen. Better?

  5. Well it's supposed to be a branched story, so I'd assume that it will have the longest dev time for plot of all the releases so far. Episode 9 had a branched story as well, but episodes were cranked out a lot more quickly back then. That was the part of the game where Team Meteor attacks Tanzan Cove and the PC battles PULSE Abra. The 'branched' portion is who gets captured (Saphira; Anna & Noel; Laura; Charlotte & Shelly) and it depends on choices you make in E9 and E8 content.
  6. Kricketune is a beast in the early game with Technician Fury Cutter, so be sure to train one up. Also, I find that in most of my regular runs I always use Gulpin/Swalot for a good portion of the game. I distinctly remember many of my Pokemon being dead weight in the battle with Julia, and Gulpin wasn't one of them. It can take some hits. You can get it in a dumpster somewhere in Peridot -- I forget the exact location. And if you want another Electric resist, grab the Pachirisu on top of Opal Bridge. If you find Zigzagoon up there instead, you're shit out of luck grab a Cherubi from Seacrest's garden. It's surprisingly useful in the very early game. So yeah, those are pretty good options, and Espurr as well. For future gym battles, you should definitely catch and train a Woobat and give it an Ability Capsule. Simple Swoobat is so busted in Reborn. I 6-0'ed a certain future gym leader with just one Calm Mind boost. Speaking of monoruns, I did a Water-type run for a while until my Mac became unusable. Frogadier and Goldeen w/ Lightningrod were life-savers in that match. Whenever I sensed an incoming SonicBoom, I would just outspeed with Frogadier's Lick and become immune
  7. Happy birthday! How old would she be now? I know Heather is 14 because she was 8 during Season 1 (2010).
  8. How much support do you guys think a fan game set 10 years before the events of Reborn would receive?

The idea sounds really cool, I'd love to see how a Reborn Origins game would turn out. There are many parts of the plot that could be fleshed out, and we could learn exactly how the city was originally destroyed. I really think there is enough content there to create a fan game. The only problem is that I'm not sure Ame ever planned for something like that, so there might be some inconsistencies with Reborn's plot. Not to mention that I'm sure at least 90% of the characters would have to die in the end (or during the story), including the MCs (unless they are supposed to be in-game Ame or something like that).

And yeah, like Commander said, making a fan game is a huge commitment and you should only do it if you are sure that you can see it through the end. The most important thing when making a game is dedication to the project.

      I could get behind this.

In regards to the potential plot holes though: You could always begin the development of it now and come out with an episode or two by the time Reborn ends, and then after Reborn ends, you could go back and fix anything that breaks the timeline.

Not that you need to do this, but it'd allow you to start development sometime in the near-future and not a year or two from now.

I would be nice to see the former gym leaders and how they tried to defend Reborn with their might, how current characters like Serra, Elias, Solaris, and others lived 10 years ago, how Reborn looked before alongside with the other locales, and just how everything is before it fell

  9. Ah, I missed the part where you said she wasn't finished. I agree that some texture change would do that design a lot of justice. Radomus? Swell choice. His pose in your sketch makes him look like a pimp he actually belongs in a castle. EDIT: Sigmund looks buff enough to smash Samson's face in, holy crap
  10. @Aynil that is actually terrifying 0_0 But I love it! The only thing missing is the ketchup stains I also saw and enjoyed your colored rendition of Luna earlier -- you used a style that I don't see often in these fanart posts, and I think it's a really nice change of pace. Which character(s) are you planning on doing next?
  11. I had been wondering too, thanks for the update.
  12. This needs to be Lin's battle theme, oh my god.
  13. Three battles with Arceus (vs. El; Arc-PULSE; postgame) is definitely a bit much, especially considering we've only seen one other legendary so far. A situation like Cyrus' in DPPt seems more likely. My theory is that Lin will succeed in calling Arceus forth, but she won't be able to control it. We'll get an epic cutscene of Arceus resisting the influence of the Arc-PULSE and rendering it useless. Exasperated and somewhat spooked, Lin will then attack the PC immediately. I suppose Arceus stays on the sidelines because it entrusts the PC to eliminate the threat. Miss Direction's prophecy (Anna making a wish on Nostra for a way to save the world; i.e, you) is a thing, after all. I actually have another theory about the battle with Lin that's totally different from this one, but I'll can it for now -- it has nothing to do with the topic of this thread.
  14. Even though Lin was a Dragon leader, she should really have no more than 3 Dragon-types, because otherwise her team would likely be too similar to Saphira's. Plus, as the final boss, she needs a fair amount of diversity on her team. If Arclight can bring Noivern and Exploud for no other reason than that they fit his character, shouldn't Lin be able to do the same? Even Fern only has 2 Grass mons by the time we battle him at Fiore Mansion. If there's any theme to Lin's roster, it should be that all of her Pokémon look intimidating. When all is said and done, I think her team will shake out like this: • Hydreigon (PULSE?) • [Dragon-type] • [Dragon-type] • [Dark-type] • [Strong mon with disturbing Dex entry] • [Legendary] (PULSE?)
  15. Definitely possible. Or maybe PULSE Darkrai, if that has anything to do with the sleep signal over Agate.
  16. This isn't to patronize at all, I'm just curious. People who have Noel as their favorite leader (or high up on their lists) -- what do you like about him?
  17. @example I like Corey a lot, too. His diary was really sad to read. It's a shame that he doesn't get much love from the Reborn community. And Shade is cool -- he always keeps a watchful eye out for the good guys and (for the most part) steers them from harm's way.
  18. I think I'm gonna have nightmares...
  19. My Top 5 favorite leaders: 1) Charlotte A sassy, clever, and rebellious teen whose character is surprisingly deep. Throw in a tragic backstory, and what's not to love? 2) Adrienn A compassionate dream-chaser who rebuilt an entire city! Mad respect. E16 really took xem from zero to hero imo. 3) Amaria THE precious little cinnamon roll. I highly admired the real Amaria, so I like her in-game by extension. I can't wait until the main story shifts back to her again. 4) Radomus Dat wardrobe tho. Radomus appeals to me bc his demeanor matches his appearance(s) completely, and bc he's so enigmatic. And I love when he breaks the 4th wall! 5) Shelly Everyone likes Shelly; I mean the game practically turns you into her big brother/sister! I suppose those protective instincts kicked in for me. Though a few non-leaders are also high up on my list, like Cain and Cal for example.
  20. I'll need to sit on it for another day until I'm sure, but I think Rogue One might have just become my favorite Star Wars movie.

  21. Maybe a battle against Cyrus? His ambitions were extremely similar to Team Meteor's.
  22. The most likely scenario for fighting Titania on the Fairy Tale Field is if we battle her at the Mirage Tower, and it winds up containing a very similar ruin to the one at Citae Arc d'Astrae within. Otherwise, I'd imagine that fighting her in the Desert Field makes the most sense, since you know... Excadrill. That field procs Sand Rush immediately, God help us all. EDIT: Unless, of course, she has an outdoor gym built in the style of the Fairy Tale Field -- but it's hard for me to picture grass growing out there. Oh well, Pokémon magic explains everything.
  23. I always pick Vero in my runs of Reborn, but I really like Lucia's design and VS banner. I want to like Kuro, but the Fern vibes are too heavy. Decibel has the best clothes, Alice looks too much like Luna, and I never really paid significant attention to Ari.
