  1. There's a handful here and there. But they're much rarer than before the machine got broken, not counting the ones in raid dens obviously.
  2. Yeah it's exactly like the regular one. You can evolve it pretty easily with candies right where you catch Goomy if you enter and exit buildings until it starts raining.
  3. I meant to submit to have your team as an NPC opponent. I believe the new Aevium mons are off limits for it if I read the restrictions correctly. Of course I'm gonna grab one to use when I play the mod.
  4. Noooo you can't show me the perfect Aevian form and tell me it's off limits...! Ah well. Guess I'll use Kalosian Noivern instead.
  5. Since it's pretty dense when it comes to information and there are a lot of hidden identities and double characters, there's a few things I wasn't entirely sure about with it. The Masked People you battle throughout - the one on the player character's side is Rhodea, but who is the one on Aelita's side? Their team doesn't seem familiar to me and I'm not really sure who they're supposed to be otherwise. I know you battle Thomas as the Masked Man in the real world, but he only uses Steel types, so I'm pretty confident that wasn't him. What's up with the nameless, silent scientist in Lavender's Nightmare Realm? He keeps showing up with the same team over and over again like he's significant in some way, and he's so inconsequentially easy he doesn't seem like he's there for any gameplay reason.
  6. Something useful to add to the pile since this is such a beloved and useful item: The best way to get Leftovers consistently is the Snorlax static encounter in Honec Woods. It has a 100% chance to hold them, and since the Snorlax encounter remains and resets until you catch it, you can bring a Thief and steal as many as you need.
  7. Something a bit arbitrary is that they talk about this or that person being strong but because levels are a gameplay construct it's mostly something you have to take their word for. I think they tried to account for that with each gym leader having a specific win rate rather than a "power level" as it were, but even that's a bit nebulous when you consider a lot of them are going to be someone's first challenge. Venam complains about kids using their rattata to fight her and a little girl in Grand Dream City talks about how hard fighting Lavender's Abra is with her Trubbish, so they definitely adjust their teams to align with whoever's challenging them. Their "real" teams have to be just as context sensitive because if Valarie has a pack of level 100s for a trainer with 17 badges that'd be completely unreasonable to fight in Terajuma. Excepting cases where they expect you to lose like Madame X and the Deathwings, of course.
  8. That's a bit silly if so. A big part of their gimmick is being able to swap between types as needed out of battle.
  9. I'd like Noivern to get a crest for three-ish reasons. One being it's one of my favorite mons, and while it's perfectly usable throughout the game it's in a bit of an unfortunate spot in terms of stats when it comes to competing with all of its much more powerful dragon cousins. But also, specifically in the context of Rejuvenation's narrative and characters, Jenner gives Melia his Noivern as an expression of fatherly love in a dire time in both their lives. She uses it for exactly one major battle in the game (possibly more, but the only time I remember seeing it is the final Zetta/Geara battle atop Mount Valor).... And then she boxes the thing, a gift from her now deceased father, primarily (and I'm speculating here, but given the caliber of the rest of her team, I think I'm on the money) because it's just not powerful enough for a character as skilled and capable as Melia to use after Terajuma. I know that Pokemon teams as exposition or character expression isn't the be all end all, but it does feel a bit bad that she has something so tangible and meaningful to remember Jenner with that gets tossed to the wayside. I understand that this was also a 13.5 addition, so it's possible some rebalancing would need to be done in later chapters if she were to use it more consistently... which is another reason I think a Crest for Noivern would pay dividends. She gets to keep her dad's gift throughout the game, I get to use one of my favorite B- tier mons without having to worry about a team slot being "wasted", and one of the coolest dragons in the game would finally get its due.
  10. Both psychic and electric. You can find the bird itself already electric but the nectar to shift it simply isn't there, or is hidden away really well. I'd assume it's in a flower tile like the ghost nectar but if so I can't find it.
  11. Searched up and down River's End for any to no avail. I did manage to find the Ghost form's nectar behind the mansion north of Darchlight Village, so that's 2 accounted for. But the other two I'm lost on still.
  12. My bad if bumps or double posts are frowned on here but Going back to where you can buy the nectar on Route 3, it looks like just the Red Nectar's sold, and aside from the first meadow where you find Pom-Pom style, there doesn't appear to be anywhere else to get the other two, and actually using the Red Nectar locks your Oricorio into the Fire style. Is there some way to unlock the other 3 nectars or is that intentional?
  13. There's a hiker in an RV on the left side of the woods themselves, not the town, who starts the quest.
  14. It's not. The place it starts is out of the way enough that it's not affected by the world changes currently in the game.
  15. Huge thanks for this. I was worried I'd have to rush to beat karma files and then abandon this file entirely because of all the pauses but it's salvaged now.
  16. Aah. I tried that guy's gen 9 starter mod for a bit and then downloaded a new installation of 13.5 to try and clear it. I guess I must of booted up my old file with that installed at some point and it doesn't like missing it. I know it's not your problem and your mod pack isn't the cause, but you wouldn't happen to know any way to fix that, would you?
  17. I've been having some weird performance issues ever since I turned the mods on for my first new file since 13.5. Other files work fine with it, but even removing the mods entirely don't fix the first one, which takes much longer to pull up the pokedex, save screen, trainer card, and even capturing Pokemon than it should. I'm not sure if it's some sort of memory leak or what but it didn't really start until I started messing with this, and it doesn't affect newer files. Any ideas?
  18. It doesn't exist. You can buy Occa Berries outright after you get enough stamps in the department store and/or can grow them naturally. I don't know exactly how berry growth is calculated inj 13.5 but just from experimenting it seems like trees that take longer to grow produce more berries when they finish.
  19. When you get to the Darchlight Caves, he'll do something he didn't in previous versions, and then ask you if he should continue, even though he doesn't seem to like to. Ask him to continue.
  20. Assuming there isn't some kind of issue with converted files, there should be a ranger near a boat who will offer to drive you there.
  21. Torchic isn't available at all in the wild yet since it's the strongest starter by far. Scorbunny you get at the end of Maman's sidequest, which you can finish and get back to her house at the soonest right before the beginning of Chapter 14. Make sure not to hold off on this one too long since the quest will be locked out forever if you go past Chapter 14 without finishing it. Mudkip you find in a new placed called Helojak Island, which you reach from the Terajuma Shipyard. You can get it once you have Rock Climb.
  22. I struggled with this one a lot too, but you can take advantage of the field to help you debuff Manaphy before it summons help or shifts to the ocean. Try putting it to sleep with Meowstic first, especially if you've got a Prankster one, then kick up sand with a wind-based flying move to drop its accuracy (it doesn't even matter if it misses, everyone still gets the accuracy debuff anyway) and, barring terrible luck, its accuracy should be in the hole enough once it's -6 accuracy that it won't be much of a threat. From there, if you can get Leech Seed and/or Curse on it, you can try walling it with either Trevenant, Abomasnow or Runerigus, then switch back and forth with one of your mons that resists Ghost moves when it tries to kill the first mon with Shadow Ball, or just hope for the best with a physical mon that hopefully isn't neutered too badly by the ocean field in the final phase.
  23. You find it where you used to find regular Zorua, by solving a puzzle in the Garufan Ruins under Carotos.
  24. Does his special password do anything, speaking of? The little easter egg for putting it in aside.
