  1. At least, in part. Hopefully. Maybe. And probably not all by the next epsiode. But anyway. As far as the lag goes, I'm caught between a rock and a hard place. Two things cause it: 1) Large maps with lots of events 2) Connections between maps I know a lot of people say that the water causes lag, but I promise that's not true. It looks like the water is causing lag because, at least in the start, around the Opal Ward, the connections between maps are around the water. Those connections, where it has two or more maps loaded at once, strain the system pretty well. So, the dilemma is this: If big maps cause lag, I can dice them up into small maps, but that requires more connections If connections cause lag, then I can remove connections by putting things into bigger maps. do you see the problem. Okay, so we have this nasty little lose-lose paradigm stuck here, and I know people lag around Opal, around Obsidia AND North Obsidia, and especially between those two, and at Spinel Town. And the common factor between those is that those are all big maps with connections. But then I think, wait, the Beryl Ward fits that bill perfectly. And so does Apophyll. Some of Apophyll's maps are huge, whereas Beryl is a couple big maps with a lot of little pieces. There are a ton of connections in those areas. So, if it were primarily the connections making people lag, I would expect them to lag in those areas too. On the other hand, the Wasteland is one single massive map conglomerate of more events than you can shake a Stunky at and I don't recall hearing too many complaints about lag there, either. But if big maps caused lag, I would. SO, question for you guys: To the people who lag in the Opal/Obsidia/Spinel areas, do any of you get lag in Beryl, Apophyll, or the Wasteland?
  2. It's not like huge changes or anything, just there are four possible outcomes to an event depending on your actions. They all re-converge by the end of the episode. Kind of like Corey's alternate story thing.

    Magby.

((Spoilers, he killed it >> ))
  4. She obviously used Common Candies. c: Anyway, Fern, like all the other characters was based off of a former leader in our online league. And he was a pretty huge douche online too. For instance, he had a tendency to "accidentally" disconnect mid-battle just so that he would have to get a restart, and he did that whenever he was losing or even just to scout the opposing team. Naturally, he didn't keep his position for very long.
  5. ...Whaps, I forgot to put Magnezone and Probopass on the obtainable list? Well, yes, sorry. They are both gettable.
  6. Not bad! Don't worry, I'll take off some of the pressure of accidental over-levelling with the next release. c:
  7. The PC thing is fixed for the next release, sorry! As for the tint, yeah, it usually is more thunderstorm than the nighttime, and I'm still looking for a way to lighten it ><

Better note 'em quickly Ame. Now that I'm back at a place with wifi, I'm cleaning 'em out.

Ame you have created an incredible game thanks! Just beat shade and ready for more! :D

  10. Okayokay, I appreciate the feedback, but this topic is wayyyy out of date and a lot's changed since then. I'm gonna go ahead and close this. ^^;

    Magby.

Also accurate, but I want the free one to be available before then
  12. Definitely room. You've already been a huge help, and I hope you can continue to be so in the future c:

Don't think so, but actually, there'll be an Upgrade in the upcoming episode.
  14. Amethyst

    Magby.

Iirc someone did indeed confirm that Magby can hold it. Of course I didn't count on that happening... Rest assured these items will be included in the game at a future time.

And of course there are several fire types available before her. The highest level training area pre-Florinia has wild Pokemon I think up to level 22? That should be plenty. That cap won't stop you from beating her- yeah, you're probably going to be pretty close to the cap, but you can beat her without going over if, like the others said, you work out a solid strategy. Also, that poll is highly outdated and she has been changed significantly since then. She doesn't even have all the same Pokemon as she used to. Now, I will grant, that Florinia is still stronger than she needs to be and that's already been changed for the next release. However, this is definitely a winnable battle. Don't give up!
  16. 1/700. It's still a rare occurance. xP
  17. Pretty much. I want to have everyone feeling like they're continually developing their team. At first of course, that's by catching new Pokemon. Then evolving them... new moves... etc. After a certain level none of that will apply, though, so I'm saving TMs for that time.
  18. Yeah, I really wish Trainer's pokemon would stop appearing as Shiny because exactly that happens and it's just... awkward. Unfortunately due to the way it processes it, I don't actually have control over that.
  19. Actually, super potions are available before Florinia. Literally right before her. Check the school's main lobby. He only appears after you beat Fern at the school.
  20. Basically, it's not possible. In short, many computers already have a hard enough time trying to keep up with teh game at normal speed. Even if I could add a button to bring it up to the top processing power, it would likely make not much difference
  21. I'm not really a fan of luck as a factor of Game Desgin... But who knows?
