Lots of people have trouble putting the finishing touches on their characters, so here's a place to find tools to help with that. Character makers http://joy-ling.deviantart.com/art/Pokemon-Trainer-Creator-401165483 - Pokemon Trainer Creator, it's pretty good with plenty of layers and such to choose from. http://www.kongregate.com/games/xdanond/anime-character-maker-2 -Anime Character Maker, this one's pretty good. You can use it for more genres, but it's not quite as good as the upper one imo. http://hapuriainen.deviantart.com/art/Pokemon-trainer-Creator-v-2-257074027 - Another trainer creator. I don't like it all that much but others do so here ya go. Name generators http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/20010208b - D&D Name Generator, should work for other stuff. Can come up with neat results, but is usually just good for ideas. http://www.seventhsanctum.com/generate.php?Genname=quickname - From Surge: Generates a series of random names assembled base on consensus data from the US. Good for most RP Genre's probably, and even if the names it comes up with aren't quite fitting for a particular world someone will be playing in, they can still serve as inspiration. http://fantasynamegenerators.com/ - exactly what it says on the tin.

Aaand i just found out what happens when you click on all of them. I've found an Elekid. =) Also, answer the Unown questions right and you get other mons! I strongly suggest taking the one in "birds". XD
