I half dont want to pressure myself and stratos into controlling another NPC, but yeahhh, i kinda needed his character to stick around. Unless somebody would like to change their character to a human with telepathy. ~~ I want this And this THis too But REALLY this But most of all, I NEED this for my cosplay. Need it. Will save me $8 dollars (so far) of fail keyblades made of wood and paper mache.

grasssnake485 Posted October 6, 2014 Author Posted October 6, 2014 Actually, its only supposed to be the one and only weapon effective against the.."heart" based enemies. Basically its purpose is to "lock and unlock" darkness. So pretty much any living thing(minus plants) has a heart, a soul/mind, and a body. Heartless are "what's left" of someone's heart after they lose control to the darkness. Their body and soul split off from the corrupted heart, and become a nobody, a nonexistent being who does not have emotions. When both the heartless and nobody of the same person are destroyed at around the same time and close to each other, they fuse back into the original human. If a person's will is strong enough, they may stay conscious in heartless form, allowing them to return to human form out of pure willpower. Unversed are similar but different; they are the physical form of dark emotions. How they are created; nobody knows. Nightmares are another similar kind of enemy, they feed off bad dreams. Not much is known about them except they are only found in the sleeping worlds. Aside from locking the darkness in the above enemies, Riku-ansem used the keyblade to unlock the darkness in Maleficent's heart at the end of KHI. It was never revealed what happened to her (speculation says she turned into a heartless and reverted back by will in KHII). Sora also used it to release Kairi's heart, which was locked within his, and in doing so, he also unlocked his own darkness and turned into a heartless, and also released Ventus's heart, which fused into Sora's nobody. Ventus's heart was previously damaged from its darkness being forcibly removed, and found shelter with Sora's heart. That would also explain why Roxas, sora's nobody, has the appearance of Ventus and is able to wield the keyblade (normally they's be destroyed if they touch it). When Roxas finally returned to Sora, Sora gained the ability to dual wield, thank's to Ven's heart being nearly fully healed. IN short, no, they dont die absol. it's not a sword, it's a key, and when you stick it in someone it unlocks their death locks/unlocks darkness "lock" the darkness in heartless/nobodies/unversed/nightmares. "unlock" the darkness in people's hearts. I guess it could be the equivalent of klling someone. in both cases you destroy their physical form.
