At first, Vincent thought that some backup might help him get through. However, the Timburr seemed to not care about getting alive out of the dungeon, and just jumped in a battle with every Pokemon he encountered, save Vincent himself. And if there wasn't a Pokemon to be seen? Not a problem, he would just yell out and attract the hostile and dangerous Pokemon. They. Had. No. Clue. "Say, you mentioned going to Castle Tempest as well? Mind if we join you? A little help can never hurt..." Well, except if that help attracts death.

Jory Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Jory pumped his paw enthusiastically. "Right! Let's do this!" He scampered forward and leapt toward the Ralts, turning in midair to hit it with a Tail Slap. He managed to strike the Ralts 3 times before it was able to move out of the way of the attack. Its eyes glowed blue and Jory was thrown to the ground with a Confusion attack, but was able to recover quickly with no problem, landing back to back with Jake. "I've got your back! Take on that Kadabra!"

"My team members were a Marill and a Wartortle... and if it was an Axew, it must've been an explorer from another castle or just someone who was lost... Those aren't native to anywhere around here."

Jake laughed somewhat terrifyingly as the kadabra attempted confusion on him, and Jake used leer, scaring it into lowering its guard. The kadabra used a basic attack, and Jake fell back slowly from the sudden shock of damage, but jumped right back up and used sucker punch, knocking it out. He then turned to assist Jory, and used leer. "Let's finish these jerks off!"

He limped over and grabbed about half the apples, placing them In his traveling bag. Afterwards he started wobbling toward the stairs. "We've got this done Jory, don't worry a bit about me."

If we run into more powerful Pokemon, who knows what could happen? I think we should stop and rest for a bit so you can recover." He looked ahead, thinking for a moment. "I can keep lookout while you rest. Don't worry, Jake."

He honestly couldn't tell whether it was real or if the kid was just acting this way for some reason. "Look," he continued. "if what we need is supplies, then we should go visit the Kecleon Brothers' store... Follow me if you can't find it yourselves." with that, he turned and walked off into the town square, heading for a small stand visible in the distance with two Lizard Pokemon attending it.

He lay down and began to rest for a little while, hoping nothing bad would happen to Jory while he rested. After a little while, he opened his eyes and shook his head. "Phew... I feel a little better..." He yawned and then got his head right back into the game. "Let's go." He walked up to the stairs and went to the next floor, hoping nothing too terrible would happen. He was warped to another room upon hitting the top step, looking around for a moment, he saw an oran berry, or two, and an Houndoom that was sound asleep. Jake waited for Jory on this one, wondering of they should fight it or not.

Well, since we are in town, the three of us do need to stock up on supplies to prepare for the journey ahead~~ Come on, MacMillan and Otto~" Artemis chirped. She hoped that they can get a little ahead of the Piplup so that she can voice her suspicions.

He snuck past the Houndoom, and grabbed the items, then continued into the hall, coming into another room. There stood a cherrim... "Jory, I think we have an enemy here..."

Thankfully, she bit the bullet seed and nudged the three of them towards the town. "Another time, Torrent," he called back. Then, in a hushed voice: "I'll speak freely. I don't like how he looked after you both spoke." At any rate, he had 650 Poke to cash or spend. "I'm going to go check the market. Unless we can all agree on working together and sharing the money, I'll go my own economic route." Though, he extended his paw, prompting reaction. "Shall we function as a team? Or independent units?"
