What you all encountered was another Hypno, like the ones Kenny killed at the entrance and Erick had genisa kill in the northen part of the tarmac. yeah... You won't be ever encountering Gengars unless shit gets very real. They have a tendency to try to kill new people they meet... as seen in the encounter that Oak and Rowan had...
