This will be my last contribution to bug reports with three minor ones from Delicia's Return to Dreamland:

  • Jim has two Staraptors (I think he misses a Farigiraf?).
  • The Elite Four (Seamus, Arnalda, Triston and Peach) do not have their own battle music.
  • The VS Sprite of Delicia should be inverted (Isaac's too?). 1.png.4e56ae16c9863c6752da3feb5ba541ac.png2.png.d3d72b0334af699b7e159dccce6a3bec.png

For Jim, it was the Farigiraf, yes. I must have not been thinking clearly and added another Staraptor to his team instead of just giving his existing one the Staraptite.

For the Elite Four, it seems that I changed their theme to the newer one in the trainertypes file, but forgot to actually add the new music to the Audio folder.

I'll create a new trainer class for the Delicia at the True Arena so the VS sprite for the opponent Delicia can face the player Delicia

Isaac's base VS sprite is Falkner, and it seems that Falkner is facing the opposite direction of Isaac:

For this one, I'll ask Punkeev if the intent was to change direction.

Thanks for all the bugs you've reported, you were very thorough with finding and documenting them! I'll start on fixing these and then do another reupload for Delicia's Return to Dreamland.

Hi, there! Very small thing I noticed, but Cosmog's backsprite has a white space between its horn(?) and its crest.

Thanks, fixed for next reupload! I've attached the fixed backsprite to the post if you want it now, and also included the shiny as the white space was on both of them.

If you talk to the Father's Day or Mother's Day Meowstic with only one Pokémon in your party, the game crashes.

It's likely the same will happen trying to battle Orange or Carol (or Felicia at Mt. Comet) with one Pokemon, then, as they're also double battles without a partner. Interesting timing, Enigma had actually mentioned this to me a few days ago and asked if I could ask the Reborn team about how they got around this. They said that they just don't have the part of the script that crashes if the player enters a double battle with one Pokemon. So I'll see if I can find and remove that part of the script soon.

Fair. I'm playing through my Professor Oak's Challenge with only my Lunala for the battles. I'll keep that in mind and keep a second Pokémon on the team just in case.

Did some testing and it turns out it's more specific than that. It doesn't happen with double battles against one trainer; if you only have one Pokemon for those, the game will just make it a single battle instead. Mother's Day and Father's Day Meowstic being 1 vs 2 with no partner is set up differently than any other double battle in the game, and it's that combination that causes the crash.

I looked at all the script sections mentioned in the error message.

The one with pbStartBattleCore is the message "Opponent trainer must be only one person in single battles". This is just the text that displays for the error. And for the Sky + Inverse Battles, I couldn't understand what was related there.

The pbStartBattle one is probably the part that needs to be changed. I took out what I thought could be the most relevant part (about party length), but removing it caused an error.

Until I get better at reading the scripts, I probably shouldn't mess with this too much on my own, so I think I have two options for now. I could make them two separate single battles, or I could add a warning note about not attempting them with 1 Pokemon.
