Adding Ninetales, causes half of your team to have ground weakness
Double coverage of Dragon typing

I think OP meant Alolan ninetales which is ice/fairy.

I would suggest to drop Noivern for A-Ninetails, you already have a flying type with Swana and with A-Ninetails you have a better coverage for dragon types. Also its ability to produce Hail automatically together with Aurora Veil is really helpful in many battles in Reborn/Rejuvenation. At least in my case A-Ninetails was a really good supporter, who more than once saved my team from the brink of death (especially against a certain water gym leader from Reborn) 😉

  • SUNRAES changed the title to a-ninetails??

I personally never stick to 6 main pokemon because Reborn poses lots of different battles which require different strategies. Adding it to your roster depending on the upcoming battle will definitely help you in the future.

Most people play through the game with 10+ pokemon on their roster.

Just get A-Ninetails and replace a team member according to which battle you are going to face
