The AI's usually more interested in winning than getting the message across, to put it mildly. Side note: you're display of abusing "Hex, but Bug" reminded me that I should probably check to see what all can learn Irritation. I've kinda been underestimating the moves until very recently, so it's only fair that I at least attempt to give them the time of day, right?

I mean Irritation would probably work better with a Galvantula (I think I'm actually able to go get it now since I slaughtered Souta with basically 1 Pokemon. Never going to let him forget that) because Vikavolt is horrendously slow and only works really well if it's getting hit with a physical move.
