Seriously what is up with the shiny rate

i just caught a shiny trubbish, pidove, and pancham all back to back i don't know if i am the luckiest man alive or if the shiny rate has been buffed

Shiny rate is something like 1/100

Shiny rate is high on reborn , it's normal that you're encountering a lot of them.

And if you took the right story route, you might have gotten the Shiny Charm (which I think makes it like 1/10 or something absurd).

I have a Shiny charm and the rate is definitely not that. Maybe 1/50 or something.

ooo i haven't yet found a shiny charm but that is an incredible buff, explains why i have encountered so many.
