There's not a set release date. It'll just be done whenever everything is finished (including alpha + beta testing to iron out bugs). 

 

That being said, you can follow its progress in the Development Blog. It's currently at 35%.

i know i only said that because ame sometimes forgets to update the progress bar.

That is true, I moreso meant that most of the current progress is from gen7 stuff, and not from actual e17 exclusive stuff, such as all the eventing and whatnot, which takes a fair amount of time, especially when you remember that people are not working on the game 24/7 during those three weeks.
