I would start in Johto with the greatest of all starters: Totodile. Such a cute little gator <3. The next addition to the team would be the fervently revered, Bellsprout (He's gotta be legal for Johto if there's an entire tower dedicated to him in the region). Further into the journey, past caves and forests and an evil cow, I would search for the one and only... evil cow. Miltank is number 3 on the team. After that, I didn't really know who to add to the team, but after banging my head against a tree, it would appear a local Heracross is interested in accompanying me. Now, it's getting late, and in the early darkness I'd cross an Umbreon, basking in the moonlight. With the help of the newly acquired Heracross, Umbreon is an easy addition to the team, but now I found myself lost in a dark forest. Webs surround me as they twinkle in the mellow moonlight. As I ran as fast as possible to leave the forest, a hoard of Ariados block my escape. A struggle for survival ensues, but thankfully my team pulls through and barely defeats the swarm of Pokemon, just before the rise of a new dawn. I look back and notice a Spinarak watching me silently. I approach it. It skitters up to a higher branch to watch me safely, curiously. I turn to leave again, and the Spinarak jumps onto my back. After a moment of panic, I realize the Pokemon is trying to hug me, like a child to a mother. And so, my team is complete.

Hoenn- I started there. It is the region I grew up in and has a lot of memorable Pokemon. It also seems pretty tropical (not counting Kyogre's monsoons) and could be quite the place to live.

My home region would be Sinnoh, mainly because I love the cities and landscapes that are available in the Sinnoh region, plus the Battle Frontier, Spear Pillar and Snowpoint City are some of my favourite places in the whole Pokemon world.

My starter would be Piplup, mainly because whilst I do have a love for Turtwig and Chimchar, the royalty of Piplup can not go unnoticed (Plus I can't build teams well around the other 2)
