Pokemon Titanium <Help, Feedback, and Ideas wanted>

Pokemon Titanium

i need a banner >.<

Heyo guys, the name's Grass if you don't already know me. Species: Poke-person. Habitat: Reborn's Roleplaying Forum. Usually. Well, since Pokemon Reborn, Pokemon Rejuvenation, and a couple other fangames are sprouting up lately, I thought I'd try my hand at making my own :3

So here we are, Pokemon Titanium. It's kinda a "sequel" to my "The Shrouded Islands" roleplay, but you don't really need to know the plot of The Shrouded Islands to play it or even understand it. Actually, think of the roleplay as the prequel. This will be an episodic release game, with 25 planned story chapters, and possibly more for the endgame. There will be 15 new pokemon, possibly more, two (actually three if you consider the ??? type) new types, Shadow pokemon, and a new feature, Delta pokemon. Delta pokemon work like the TCG variant, they have different types, but mostly the same learnsets and stats. It'll also have several new mega evolutions, uhhhh ..... I don't really remember how many. XD Three new eevelutions as well, too many new items to count, and one shiny new amazing legendary that you probably already know if you poke through "The Shrouded Islands". (Hint, it's one of Emerald's pokemon)

So yeah. I'll post story details in a spoiler down below.

But first, HELP.

I've actually mapped a good chunk of the first and second episodes, all's left to do add events to the maps, and script all the new features. I can do the eventing myself, but I'll need someone to do the scripting for me. Actually, take that back. I can script, but I can't access the script editor. I'm working on my game on a macbook pro with wine, and RPGmaker XP isn't the most friendly with Wine. That thing crashes my computer whenever I make any edits to the scripts. Which means, I'll need someone to input the scripts for me. If you have scripting experience, that would be even better since I make TONS of mistakes/typos/capitalization errors in my coding. All the time. I would also like someone to help me sprite, since that's the stuff that's taking up the majority of the time. Especially the gen 6 pokemon, megas, and the new pokemon, megas, deltas, and shadows. I would love to have my own music composed for the game as well, but that's not too much of a priority. Until then, creds to Glitch City, and some other remixers, for the music.

Something else I would love to get help on is new pokemon designs. Okay, I admit it, not all 15 out of 15 new pokemon are designed/named. I'll post the stuff Ive done in a spoiler below.

So. Onwards.

~Story~

History
The plot of Pokemon Titanium takes place 40 years after the events of The Shrouded Islands. The fog has lifted off lush region of Yuelin, the region the poke-people once inhabited. A beautiful region filled with pokemon, natural resources, how could anyone resist? A human civilization quickly springs up where the poke-people's had been abandoned, and a brand-new pokemon league is established. But not everyone has the right to challenge it. The league has its scouts, powerful trainers who seek other skilled trainers to challenge their league. Only by proving your strength to a scout can you be invited to challenge the Yuelin League. Additionally, trainers must start their challenge over, and raise their pokemon from scratch. Pokemon that were not caught by that trainer may not be used in official battles.
~
Prolouge
You are a seasoned trainer, scouted by the newest scout recruit, Aria. She's a outgoing, bubbly girl, who hates to sit down and listen. And you probably know what that means, trouble. Yep, within the first five minutes, Erin drags you to the pokemon lab so you get first dibs on the starter pokemon, (which isn't all that bad) but gets in pretty big trouble with the league admin, and guess what, you missed out on some useful info. Oops. (You'll get it later on though)
~
Episode One
Yuelin isn't all sunshines and rainbows and tough battles with gym leaders, it looks like there's this mysterious girl in a black cloak that's been following you lately. Or maybe it's because you're following her? Or is it fate that keeps drawing you two together? Either way, it doesn't looks like she's too friendly. And neither is Mercury, the jerkass gym leader who's also the older brother of Erin and the first gym leader you face. He is apparently a 2nd league gym leader though, so you can't battle him until you beat all the 1st league ones. Rest assured, you'll have your chance to kick his butt. And HOLY SHIT IS THAT A GIANT STEELIX ATTACKING THE CITY?! Better start running, though the direction is up to you to decide.

~More to be revealed as more episodes are released~ Ep. 1 will be out sometime this summer, promise ;)

~Help~

Tl;Dr the above:
Desperately need help:
- Someone to input my scripts for me. You do need a paid copy of RmXP, and preferably some scripting knowledge

Want help:
-Spriters, it's a major time-consumer on my end to make all the sprites and the game at the same time. Grassy being lazy
- Character designers, I commissioned a friend to design and pixel the protagonists, gym leaders, and major characters, but it's been months since I last heard from her. Derp. Help wanted please, if you have ideas, please contribute!

Would be awesome, but not needed immediately:
- Beta testers. Also another function I can't access on my computer, playtesting my game. I have two right now, I would like ten more. First ten people to express their interest get to play the beta game. I don't want people playing the game just to get spoilers and stuff, I want people who genuinely know how to break stuff. Like interacting with every NPC, going through every sidequest/story branch, making sure headbutt trees work, make sure there's no tile errors, etc.
>> beta testers so far: Jamaka2001, Alozan, DarkSpite, DragonMasterKrim

GYM LEADERS!!!! Right, I forgot about this a while back but i need a couple people to make gym leader teams for me. Cuz yeah. Grass cant monotype, even with grass. I currently need bug, steel, ground, and ice. I'll tell you the level caps once i find my notes xD.

~How you can Contribute~

I need names and designs/art pretty badly for some pokemon, namely art of the water starter line. I'll post the art of the pokemon that I need names for once I get it polished and comprehensible. I would also like item ideas and delta pokemon ideas. Delta pokemon should be variations, like arctic vulpix, fire bulbasaur, or tsunami absol. Totally not confirmed. Also, any and all feedback is appreciated!

~Characters~

Protagonists:
Aria: A seventeen year old girl, optimistic, energetic, and quite deceiving. Looks wise, at least. On the outside, she's a cute delicate girl, meet her on the battlefield, eh, try not to get blown away.
Terra: Erin's older brother, and rock type gym leader. If you thought rock was an easy type to beat, think again since Terra's team doesn't like pulling its punches. Or in this case, rock blasts.
Evangeline: Another Yuelin scout; she's older and one of the first scouts recruited, and has a keen eye for potential. She's quite powerful, but she tends to focus too much on strength alone.

Skylar/Sky: Evangeline's scouted challenger. Like his scout, he's quite cocky and quick to anger.

Unaffiliated:
Grass: *Waves* Heyo everyone, I'm your friendly neighborhood league administrator! Feel free to ask me questions if you need something~
Professor Sequoia: She's a little on the older side, but still cares much about her job and pokemon in general. The Yuelin research labs are dedicated to finding out the mysteries of Delta pokemon, which only seem to appear in this region.

Unknown affiliations:
Silver: Could he be the one behind the steelix attack? He is the steel type gym leader, and one of the strongest in the region. First seen mocking Terra for having a hard time with the steelix, when he just swept the ground with it in a couple seconds.

???: You'll meet this mysterious girl in a black cloak many times in your journey. I don't wish to reveal any more on her. Buuuttt, just try to stay on her good side, please?

Villans (Team Shadow):

Admin Tesla: A sadistic, cocky admin of Team Shadow. Will stop at nothing to achieve her goals, and often uses underhand methods to ensure her plans turn out the way they want. Though you won't see her often, she's not an opponent you want to take lightly. Specializes in electric types.

This looks really cool, Could I be a beta tester? Also, for all gen 6 pokes and stuff, I'm sure you can ask Ame and c/p the sprites.

Sorry I don't have any long analysis about this, I'm kinda tired right now, might add something else here later.

I wouldn't mind being a beta tester. For the delta pokemon, I had the idea of a ghost or ghost/fighting lucario, but Im not the best at spriting so the sprite might take a bit. (Using Reborns shiny sprite as a base.)

Ah, this game seems really interesting! I really want the fire kitty as my starter~ Also, if you still need help with sprites and visuals I could do so! Game art is something I'm getting a degree for anyway~

Well, here you go. My friend Mcowher helped me with it (actually he did most of the work. I'm worse at spriting than I thought XD). Changes can be made if necessary, although I really like it.

Edit: I just noticed that you need a steel team. Let me know the level caps, and I can help with that since not only is it my favorite type, it's also my favorite one to monotype.

Currently it's at 45, but I may or may not shuffle the gym order around a little bit. Oh, and for character reasons, Silver has to have a bronzong with heavy metal, heavy slam, psychic, and hypnosis. :P

Ugh. Mizusu looks totally adorable on paper. Wish I could say the same for the pixel art tho. If anyone's good at pixelling scales, be my guest.

Scales....Leaflet....Are you sure you aren't trying to make this a reference? XD (I know what you meant though. I'll send it to my friend and see if he can do it)

Leaflet is not exactly supposed to be a fire emblem reference, but hey, acciedental reference right? My friend actually pointed that out to me. Mizusu is actually a pretty subtle rosarioxvampire reference. I wanted to make someting that looked childish and innocent like San, but also powerful at the same time.

"Time to tip the scales!"

I actually already have mizusu and the rest of the first evo. done, I'm struggling on the second evo. now. Doing scales once isnt so bad, twice is kinda annoying, but for 6 sprites, double for shiny, and then the menu sprites is kinda overwhelming.

Yo.

Hoppip, Budew, or Deerling for an early game grass type?

Definitely Deerling. It gets Wild Charge, Jump Kick, Double Edge as a STAB and gets Horn Leech. It does too much damage and looks so awesome, every season.

Jumpluff might be a bit too powerful early game with its statuses and Acrobatics, Roserade is a pretty bulky powerhouse with Petal Dance, and Sawsbuck is a more physical Pokemon with some pretty useful coverage moves.

If you want your game to be more challenging, I recommend putting in Budew, but don't put the Shiny Stone in until much later. My personal favorite of the trio would have to be Sawsbuck, though.

Jumpluff may seem weak but believe me training a Hoppip is worth ALL of the pain XD
