What LN could that be anyway? Maybe you're just a dark and depressing person Heartland is technically in Japan so I am not sure about age of consent laws there. Look at it this way. My character is the type who would pretty much be the loser in a love triangle. The LN is To Aru Majutsu no Index. Brunhild Eiktobel's torture was messed up...and then there is the first 2/3 of To Aru Majutsu no Index New Testament Volume 09 for Touma which was infinitely more brutal. All other torture scenes now seem mild in comparison. I do wonder what Setsuna's torture scene would be like, though. Edited March 25, 2015 by Hiss13

Well there are at least 3 or 4 people who don't really have anything to do right now, and they are all gravitating around Central Square. You can interact with them... I've heard of Index and in no way imagined it to be brutal. I've read/played/watched Corpse Party and read Akame ga Kill so I wonder if Index would disturb me more.

Index has its brutal moments but the series is not centered on the brutality like Corpse Party or AgK. That being said, when the series wants to be brutal, it can be really brutal. Examples include but are not exclusive to that girl's corpse in Volume 03 (which was heavily toned down in the anime) and the Chemical Plant Scene in Volume 13 (which was also toned down in the anime). My field at the end of my third turn was Armored Kappa with 2400 def, Abyss Splash, Poseidra, and Gishilnodon and my opponent's life points were 0. I love Atlanteans.
