That's somewhat the origin of the idea behind this, it's a combination of two creepypastas technically. But, my actual reason for creating the images is unrelated to the creepypastas themselves.

Truthfully, neither. If you're looking to make it more unsettling, try and take a more simplistic approach.

Try taking out the "go to sleep" text. I mean, I might be the only one, but I find if you give an image context, it's easier to rationalize.
