Yeah. Some "completely" random, or from other fanmade games.
The problem however, is in the time location. Champions aren't Champions forever - they get replaced: either by being defeated, status getting revoked, retiring, or... dying.
We could~ theorically assume almost all events of mainline games happen in the spawn of 3-4 years. Then we could bring: Lance, Steven/Wallace, Cynthia, Iris, Diantha, Elio/Selene, Leon. And maybe others who had the titles at some point in the past and still live: Blue, Red, Steven/Wallace (the one who's not the Champ), Alder, Mustard, Peony.
I would be completely up for that, although I'm sure their teams would need some adaptations to fit certain field effects. I doubt the Gen 8 characters will be in it mostly due to Reborn not implementing Gen 8 mons. And since Celine founded the Aevium League after the events of Reborn, I doubt she would appear either

That kinda reminds me of how the Stormchasers wanted Melia in the past for Project Rapture. Maybe they're working against Celene and made the fake Amanda to make sure she couldn't stay in the present

I'm pretty sure Elizabeth was already dead before the events of the story, so she doesn't count for sure. I'm guessing that Lin won't necessarily die, but she'll be banished to another dimension, sorta like Giratina. She did collapse when she got stabbed so maybe she was revived somehow?

I used this strategy in my Mono Poison run and made her significantly easier. If you're fast enough or just lucky to not get targeted this can also work against Zetta & Geara on Valor Mountain

Shade leads with a Gengar, and based on its nickname, its Poison type and its Moon dex entry, its probably Corey's spirit. Since the battle doesn't take place until after Shade shows Lin's supposed death, it means that Corey was one of the souls taken.

I'm sort of leaning towards this idea myself, she has survived being stabbed after all. She doesn't die, or have her soul taken, because she doesn't have one. There's a number of ways that could go but I think the simplest is that she traded it to some supernatural being (like the baby Arceus) for immense power/immortality.

Since Looker briefly appears during one sidequest, maybe other characters from the main games will appear too. I'd like to see a battle against Cynthia in the post game. Her Garchomp, Lucario, and Gastrodon are all well suited to the Ash Beach field

Also, yeah, the characters in Reborn and Rejuvenation are on average... young. Like- I'll list all major characters in Reborn who are confirmed to be over 30:
- Corey Molinar
- Serra Voclain
- Radomus Vanhanen
- Adrienn Flores
- Sirius
- Solaris Alcantara
- Sigmund Connal
- Elias Hazel
Ig that would explain why Adrienn looks the same in Rejuvenation. Aya's grown older but her vs sprites look mostly the same so a bit difficult to tell by how much

Well we know for certain that we'll at least get to meet the devs. As for crossovers there might be some references to Rejuvenation but I wouldn't expect anything big since they take place roughly 7 years apart

Yeah there's even an area in her gym where you can encounter Porygons that are always shiny. She's a skilled hacker so I wouldn't be surprised if she can extend her capabilities to the game itself if she was medium aware

And who said that just because Fern was less involved in Team Meteor, he will get away? He's an Agent, and El's an Admin/Commander (at least I assume that because that makes sense if you analyze various sources and compare them), but lower rank doesn't save him.
Corey and Terra both have high ranking positions in Team Meteor too. Obviously nothing can be done about Corey, but what would happen if Terra somehow escaped her computer world?

Gossip Gardevoir, Metagross, and Zoroark all seem likely given the field effects. Maybe Victini or Xerneas if she's immortal

If the Dev's didn't make the change in E19 then I feel that it was a missed opportunity to use a somewhat strong, underused Pokemon to give it some spotlight(no hate on the Dev's though, there also could have been sentimental value with Terra and Garchomp). Could literally just copy and paste Garchomp's moves and such onto a Flygon and it would pretty much be the same thing(except a somewhat weaker physical attack).
At least there's a chance Lin will use Flygon. It doesn't loose speed on the New World and can learn field boosted attacks like Crunch and Draco Meteor

It's said that she was able to sweep teams 6-0 pretty easily, so I'm guessing that she has an Extreme Evoboost and Baton Pass team
