I don't think it works against ice types or on Pokemon that have a higher level. RIP that strategy on the off chance she uses ALolan Ninetales

Speaking of Ace, I also recall in the early hours of the 'peanut gallery' Dev Blog post there being a screenshot of Ace in the Blacksteam Factory which has since been deleted

I do like the idea of Ace being another character's alter ego, but I kinda doubt its true. We hardly know anything about them, so it would be nearly impossible to tell who anyways.

I like the idea of a magical seed, but as you say this leaves Hydreigon vulnerable, so I think it being able to bypass lvl 100 will be the best course of action. I can only think of Noivern that will be able to outspeed and one-shot a lvl 100< Hydreigon on the New World field without a Choice Scarf or Air Balloon, which will add the much needed challenge to the battle. If Hydreigon was capped at lvl 100, then the likes of Flygon and Salamence come into the mix, as well as the previously mentioned speed-tying Hydreigon; a lot more options.
Though Noivern can crush Hydreigon, it is practically a sitting duck if Lin has a Fairy type or Metagross(Heat Wave does less than half if Timid, even less if Metagross has Magical seed) so it wouldn't be super OP, especially if the new AI can predict a Draco Meteor.
She has Gardevoir so I wouldn't be surprised to see her use it. Moonblast gets a 2x buff on the New World and the magical seed works well with Stored Power

I'm pretty sure the devs confirmed that there wont be anything over Lv 100 until the postgame. I think the real challenge comes from the fact that she'll be using the Arc Pulse on her team, cause I don't think she would have a 100% win rate against the ai if she didnt

There are already events for all the starters. In fact you can get any non legendary, and type:null

Assuming that they don't stray away from GlitchxCity, the Cyrus and Rose themes are probably the best contenders, or they could perhaps delve into the custom Rejuv themes (doubt it though).
I've been going through a lot of Glitchx's remixes and if we're assuming its an already existing track I feel like the Final N remix could also be a contender, even if its not as dark or intimidating as the others

Feels like a missed opportunity imo but the music choice is almost always top notch so I can't really complain. If what Ame said is true then I'm putting my bets on the Cyrus Remix, assuming Glitch doesn't release a Volo remix. If we're lucky the Giratinia remix could still be used for when we catch it in the postgame

If Lin has a second phase (or the music changes when she brings out Arc Pulse) a fast paced Arceus remix would absolutely fit. I could also see a BW2 Ghetsis remix since she has Hydreigon or Cyrus since she's trying to create a new world

Some of them... I genuinely forgot. Some of them, I really had no idea until recently (like Isha controlling Giratina; it NEVER happened in my playthoughs, and happened to discover it in someone else's), and also... Dimensional Stakataka? Apparently that's something very recent.
Plus, two things:
- Wasn't the "School of Nightmares" some kind of... "illusion"? I mean-... Not exactly real but also not exactly fake...?
It was certainly confusing for me.
- I think Kyogre is just "a wild" Pokemon.
To be fair a few of them are pretty easy to miss. Getting Mewtwo in WLL requires the true ending, Diancie is only mentioned in a sidequest, Isha only uses Giratina if Lavender doesn't release it, and Stakataka is only mentioned in V13. As for the school of nightmares, I'm pretty sure the Unova dragons were part of a deal with the Puppet Master, but with how much money and influence the Blakeorys have it seems pretty reasonable that they would be able to get a Genesect

Apparently there was some sort of interview conducted with the participants to make sure they weren't being impersonated. And that seriously makes me question how Cosmia and Cosmo were able to act like 5 or 6 different people without raising any suspicions
