  1. Egg moves are different from TM moves. Generally speaking, tm moves cannot be learned through breeding, only egg moves can be done so. You can check bulbapedia or the like for different mons’ egg moves (and ice beam isn’t nidoran f’s egg move)
  2. Btw one trick I used is lead with sticky web leavanny, because of the magical seed, the enemy will have magic coat, so sticky web gets on your side instead. With the speed drop, your mons will be the one faster under trick room. You just need to use not-too-fast mons like the tsareena, spiritomb, escavalier and swampert, then you’re good to go. Take note to delay sewaddle’s evolution to learn sticky web first though. See if that helps with anything
  3. The trainers at the top right corner in the grand hall, they give exp candies upon defeat, and are repeatable trainers
  4. I see you have comfey and it can solo noel easily, here’s how: Growth / draining kiss / synthesis / petal dance Big root, triage ability EVs do not matter but 252hp will help You just have to avoid flinch on the first round, use growth until you get +6 boosts, and if you are low on hp use draining kiss/ synthesis first. Comfey has priority on healing moves so draining kiss will always move first. Remember, don’t kill cinccino until you get +6 boost, after that you can begin the slaughter!
  5. Try changing magnezone to rotom-w? Gets a fire counter and makes your team less weak to fire types as well
  6. To be fair your team is overleveled for the point of the game though, as you’ll see with the next gym leader. But I agree with Alex that the game gets progressively harder. Also, this is the starlight divide section of the forums, be sure to post reborn-related content at the Reborn’s forum next time~
  7. My opinion is to change your medicham’s nature to +speed, outspending the enemy is often more important than extra firepower in reborn. And maybe salamence, but it has ddance so I’m not sure. As for movesets, Medicham - HJK over drain punch for me, the former gets a lot more of OHKOs, and mega medicham is somewhat frail and doesn’t need that extra recovery most of the time. Salamence - you can experiment roost over fire fang for longevity, since you have ice type coverage on other mons. This works better with intimidate, since it lets mence have more setup opportunities. But salamence is very flexible so you can change the sets according to the enemy. Tyranitar - Are rocks compatible with assault vest? xD EV wise, I’d always spec 252hp first for a bulky set, if you’re running vest then additional 252 def might be good. Also, sandstorm already gives rock mons 1.5x spdef boost so you can try leftovers too. Then you can use rest + toxic, or some other cheese sets if you like As for the other mons I’m not too sure (rarely use them before), but I can give you some other generally good suggestions: 1. Rotom-wash - Will-o-wisp / Volt Switch / Hydro Pump / Snatch (flexible) 252 Speed, 252 HP or SpA, Leftovers A really good support mon, will-o-wisp to cripple physical attackers, volt switch for pivoting, screens or hydro pump depending on the situation, it’s a really flexible mon. Plus, levitate allows you to predict ground type attacks and give it free switch ins. I suggest it to replace jolteon, since jolteon is a little one-dimensional. 2. Aegislash - King’s Shield / Swords Dance / Shadow Sneak / Iron Head, 252 HP, 252 SpDef, Leftovers A bulky setup sweeper set, really a good mon against the AI. Because of it’s two forms, setting up is really easy, and it can decimate whole teams after setting up successfully. Might need a little time to understand it’s mechanics, but once you do, it can solo even (some) of the toughest fights. 3. Other than that, Volcarona and nature power Mega Sceptile are good options for special attackers as well. Ok that’s a ton, but it’s what I can come up with, only personal experience though :3 In reborn, getting thrashed is really a common thing, especially for the first time, so it’s good to have some mons in rotation as well! Have fun with the game~
  8. As the title says, I would like to know which variable changes this? I believe this affects the gym leader to be Flora/Florin, and I'd like to battle both. Thanks!
  9. First of all, your mons are a bit underleveled, you can train them by fighting the grand hall trainers. Regarding your party, I think it's not very good against poison types. I suggest using a swoobat (woobat from the underroot or underground railnet). Simple + Calm Mind, Confusion, Air Slash swoobat can easily sweep most of his mons. At lvl 32, charmeleon learns flame burst, you can use it as a last ditch effort, taking down one of his mons with you. I normally use it for crobat or skuntank. Lastly, you can use delibird as a lead, stacking up some spikes to ease sweep from your other mons.
  10. Flareon is owned by a random trainer on Route 1
  11. Compared to reborn, one thing I really like about rejuv is the vivid animation of cutscenes. The devs really took their time to animate all the storytelling scenes, which immersed me into the story even more. Props to Jan and the team!
