  1. Seconding the above, but in case you're confused: Reborn movepools are based on gen 7, not gen 8 (or 9 for that matter). The only intentional exceptions afaik are TMs 76, 94, and 98, since those are HM moves in gen 7 so they're replaced with Struggle Bug, Secret Power, and Power-Up Punch, respectively (which are what they are in gen 6).
  2. OP said they started a new save file and had only just passed Mosswater, so maybe cool it a bit on the endgame spoilers
  3. Well first you download and extract the folder, and then run the updater application. It should download/install the current version (19.16) with all its files. After that, launch the Game.exe application and play to your heart's content!
  4. I think 50 vs 80 base speed is definitely significant enough to merit a swap, especially if you have some EVs invested in Vileplume's speed, since you can either make Venusaur even faster or use the saved ones to cover for the slightly lower power or increase your bulk even more. Also if you end up needing to set up Sun with this one, Venusaur will either be able to outspeed the opponent better to use Sunny Day first or be able to tank a hit better to still use it after. Plus if you use Venusaur then you'll have a team with Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise, which I think makes it worth in and of itself.
  5. I have a German Shepherd and all she cares about are tennis balls (and maybe sometimes a rope toy) but I couldn't say if that extends to all Germans or not.
  6. "Where" would be the Lost Railcave in the Chrysolia Forest and "when" would be a bit after you get your 5th badge, but if that's longer than you want to wait I'm sure someone can help you out.
  7. No sorry. Dragon Dance is only an egg move on Tyrantrum in gen 7 so you'd have to breed another one with a Kingdra, Gyarados, Dragonite, Altaria, Haxorus, or Kommo-o that knows it to get one.
  8. I agree, using them if they are going to qualify in the future is fair, but if the evolved form doesn't qualify you should probably only use the unevolved form.
  9. I think they changed it in E19 so that the entirety of Shade's gym works for evolving Magneton/Nosepass/Charjabug so you might be fine.
  10. How early are we talking? Because all of them can technically be gotten relatively early (before your 6th badge). I can think of a few fights where Drought would be really strong, but for the most part I don't imagine that any of these 3 would make every single fight easy or anything, especially since after a certain point you get so many options that the game is hard enough regardless.

    Save Files

That is the place where you pick the path yeah, but switching your save file doesn't let you choose where to start from and just goes from the beginning. However if you're able to find which of your backups is from right before that point and rename that file to "Game_2.rxdata" that should split it into 2 saves at the correct point. To do that, go to your save folder (shortcut to it found in the standard Reborn folder) copy the backup that you want to test and rename that copy to Game_2.rxdata, then check by swapping to file 2 ingame. If it's not the right save then you can delete the file you just made and try again with a different one, but the name of the original name of the file will tell you the location you were in when you saved so that should be a good starting point.

    Save Files

Yep, don't even worry. If you hit the New Game button on the main menu it'll make a second file and cause an "Other Save Files" option to appear on the menu which lets you switch between them, and you can do as many as you want as far as I know.
  13. I think the only way besides loading a save is using 3 more dolls on the totem pole so it cycles back around.
  14. I concur with most of what the above person said. Special is definitely the way to go for Blissey and either Echoed Voice or Round is sure to do more than Take Down, plus Serene Grace Charge Beam is actually guaranteed to give a Special Attack boost every time so it's great for setting up. And you are right in thinking a Zoom Lens raises accuracy (20% if you moved after the target, which works for a tank like Blissey) as well as Wide Lens (straight 10% boost), they might've been thinking of the Scope Lens which raises your critical hit rate instead. Also I think the term you're looking for is IV, not EV. EVs are the values from 0 to 252 for each stat (capped at 510 total) that you raise by defeating other Pokémon whereas IVs are the values from 0 to 31 in each stat that are determined when the Pokémon is generated.
  15. Another one that can be really useful is Murkrow, which if you SR enough for it you can get it with both Perish Song and Prankster. You can get it in the Aqua Gang Hideout during windy nights post-Shade, and if you're not in Aqua Gang then you should be able to get access to the hideout once you catch up on the gang sidequests.
  16. I'm not that familiar with Rejuvenation, but if it's similar to how it is in Reborn then there might be a Debug Mode mod that would allow you to do things like add Pokémon.
  17. Nothing that early has an effect on whether you're on Reshiram or Zekrom. To be on Reshiram just make sure you don't fight Taka once you get to the Water Treatment Center. Though I would recommend stopping whichever of the two are trying go into the kitchen (which I think would be the Doctor in this situation).
  18. Also there is plenty of postgame already, so you don't have to worry about that.
  19. Ah yeah that makes sense, I guess you pretty much have to have been to Agate at that point.
  20. Apparently you can catch Decidueye much later, but that's not exactly an ideal solution so you'd probably be better off having someone trade them to you. Also, did you not have the same problem with the Torchic and Chespin eggs, or did you end up hatching those beforehand?
  21. If you have both of them seen and at least one of them caught you can go over to the third page of the entry marked "Forms" and press confirm, which should allow you to select which you want to display in the dex.
  22. I think you do end up missing it in that scenario, yeah.
  23. I'd say Torchic is probably more worth it long term, but they're both pretty solid, and honestly long term your starter doesn't really matter a whole lot since you can eventually get other things to cover your bases.
  24. I believe there is one available around the 7th badge (in the depths of Tanzan Mountain if you are familiar with it)
