I wonder if Jan will place the new changes that came with Gen8 like Mimikyu's Decoy being nerfed I also wonder if he will touch some stuff, for example, Cinderace's Pyro Ball.. That thing is just MASSIVELY OP for NO REASON.. It has 10 points more damage than Fire Blast (120 vs 110) and better Accuracy (90% vs 85%) with the only difference being it's physical instead of special, Cinderace itself has already one of the strongest abilities, Libero, which is basically Greninja's Protean but different than Greninja, Cinderace is mono-type before attacking meaning that if the opponent manages to be faster the range of super-effective moves are fewer (Water, Ground and Rock) than Greninja's Water/Dark type (Bug, Electric, Fighting, Fairy and Grass), the only thing Greninja has going on is the Battle Bond Ability that makes him stronger but Cinderace has G-Max form so kinda counters it out while still keeping his Libero Ability. Another thing that makes me curious is how G-Max will work, Jan already said it will be like a Mega Evolution of sorts but differently than Mega Evolution, G-Max don't actually change the Pokemon's type, ability or even base stats, it just makes it big, gives it more HP and allows them to use their special moves so I wonder if Jan will increase it's status like it would happen in a Mega Evolution and tone down their HP to be like them or if he will keep them untoched and being bulky with the special move. (Also.. I am unaware of this but can you have both a Mega Evolution AND a G-Max Pokemon or only one or the other? Because if you can have one of each this can make things complicated a bit..)

Glad to hear it! Some of these Pokemons aren't mainstream so I wanted to highlight them as most people tend to stick with whateve Smogon says it's good and many overlook these pokemons with good potential.

I don't mind replaying this AT ALL!! In fact I am hyped for it! I gonna start an entire new game with Scorbunny as my main starter! Recently I restarted in the Intense Difficulty and I just managed to defeat Angie and, lemme tell ya, Jan really upscalled the Bullshit Meter here by giving her Glaceon Slush Rush.. Like.. Cool.. Her Glaceon is FASTER than my Jolly Nature, 31 Speed IV, 252 Speed EV Lycanroc.. Woo.. Tho' I gotta admit, since I already played this game before and I am just wanting to check the gym leaders new teams and difficulty I am using Debug Mode to get perfect IVs on whatever I capture so I don't waste hours of my life breeding them on the Day-Care which, for me, it's justifiable but once V13 hits I gonna trash this debug mode IN A FLASH!! (Also I doubt it will even work after the update anyways, heh) I am so EAGER to see the new changes in the early game and the new content! Tho' quite depressed whenever I get here and I see that percentage still stuck on 41%, not gonna lie.. But we gotta have patience! Let's play a little game that can be fun AND informative! Gimme 3 Pokemons you guys use that just saves your butt so many times it's unfunny, also try to highlight how and also their main weakness. Imma start as an example. #1 - Vivillon You get Vivillon quite early in-game and it's pretty good at dealing with Venam and most people leave it at that BUT Vivillon's Compound Eyes increases success rate of Sleep Powder once you can get to the move re-learner and you can follow with one or two Quiver Dances and then heads just roll! I've sweeped so many trainers with this, it's hilarious! Pair that with Vivillon's Hurricane and you become Bob Ross painting a happy little accident (with your foes corpses). Only problem are pokemons that managed to be faster than it or if it misses as the chance isn't quite 100%. #2 - Trevenant The KING of cheese! Get a defensive Nature, EV train it's defenses and get it with Harvest ability and give it a Sitrus Berry and you're good to go, Harvest give a chance of renewing this berry every turn, if you have a Sunny Day team then it ALWAYS happens! Make it learn Leech Seed for extra regen, Will-o-Wisp to cripple physical attackers or Toxic for non-physicals/stallers and Horn Leech for good measure (Once we managed to get our hands on the Protect TM I suggest removing this for it), this guy was what made the Waylord from Gommink's Quest go from a huge problem to a laughable joke to me. Only problem are pokemons with Taunt or if he gets poisoned with Toxic. #3 - Ambipom I've killed so many pokemons in a "hit and run" style with this guy! Being able to get the Technician ability and STAB Fake Out and Double Hit is just too good, you can even get Dual Chop on him for those pesky Dragons and Thief to deal with annoying Ghost Types as the Ability enhances it. Only problem are pokemons that resist Normal Type or are immune to it like Ghosts, Rock and Steel. I'm curious to hear you guys pokemons! [grabs notepad]

I don't think that's RorimB.. I mean, the skin color and hair don't fit, sure he had colorful hair but not straight up rainbow colored, it was more resembling of an aurora of sorts My guess is that's the Puppet Master without it's maks.. Unless they are redesigning RorimB I suppose..

In my first playthrouhg i gave him the book and yeah.. It's implied Karen took care of him.. In my second I hold on to the book so in Indriad's Mansion I could read the stone slabs and be gifted a Gothita and after that I gave him the book to complete the quest, maximum profits.

I basically only want 2 things on V13 to change: 1. How you get an Everstone.. In my first playthrough I basically never found one up to the point I got softlocked in the Rift Garbodor fight, in my second I found it mining in Amethyst Cave, it would be nice if we got it in a scripted way like with the Destiny Knot, perhaps when Valerie makes those stairs in Blacksteep Castle she can turn around and be like "Ah, I also found this while doing the stairs, you can have it" and boom, Everstone. 2. Legendary Pokemons having perfect IVs, we can change their nature but we can't breed them so to get my Zygard I had to reset the game SO MANY TIMES and I always felt like they always should have perfect IVs even in the main series, I mean, they're legendaries for god's sake.. They aren't your average Bidoof strolling around your garden's tall grass and we don't even have access to any but Zygard and it takes the effort of running around collecting all of it's cells plus the core.. I hope the feature to increase IVs people mentioned before that was remove due to bugs make a return so at least I can use that.

Where Love Lies is the story of Kenneth, the second gym leader, it explains something related to the plot, it is also the only way to obtain Riolu, finishing on the true ending gives you a code to use in Grand Dream City, it's a short story while Rejuvenation is the real deal

It is if the book is the bible.. That's where the plot starts to heat up!

Well Venam and Melia are "clam sisters" so I get why Venam "sucks up" to Melia so much (wink wink nudge nudge) Changing the subject a little, I am actually kinda glad we don't get to romance any of the characters in the cast, whenever a game does that I always feel like it's kinda forced since it's just nudged in there like it wasn't suppose to.. Besides with such a boring MC I get why no one feels like that towards them hah

Agreed.. Yet Melia gets most of the credit from others.. She be like "Ah, but MC helped me A LOT" and then everyone turns around say "Hey good job!" and then back to Melia

I wonder if we'll manage to get Froakie and Torchic next.. These are probable but the new starters is a bit.. Dunno Either way I am set on restarting my game to experience the new changes in encounters, trainers and gym leaders with the new gen of Pokemon

Sometimes it do be feeling like we're just in the passenger seat in Melia's car while she drives it off a cliff.. *snif*.. Sometimes..

I have the feeling that won't be the case.. Jan tends to keep things challenging in the game considering mostly timing, hence why we still can't get a Lucario or a Greninja (unless if you pick one as your starter) so tho' I feel like the other starters might be possible, I think he might hold off Scorbunny for a while from being obtainable in sidequests or events, but what do I know?

Yeah I love it's design as well, I have so many Mawile drawings I did back in the day, my profile included I've been DYING for V13 and megas to appear.. I usually don't grind for shinnies but I just had, JUST HAD, to have a shinny perfect IV Mawile, took me HOURS but I got it, I named him Carnelian because of the gem, apparently shinny Mawile in Rejuvenation is white and red

A mawile in your profile picture, now this is a cultured person I don't have a type, my favorite is Mawile for sure but without mega evolution it's harsh so I think I kinda understand how you feel.. I mean, Mawile is one of those pokemons that were trash before megas and only became good because of them (Ruby was the first Pokemon game I ever beat so I guess you can understand why I like'em, nostalgia mostly)
