  1. That so? Well, name every location then! Destiny Knot, Everstone and the Power items, I stopped after defeating the poison type gym that offs himself without having the DECENCY of giving me the badge
  2. @Jan or @Zumi I realized no one asked this question and I am quite curious.. Pokemon Sword and Shield is getting a new DLC now with new pokemons like the Galarian Legendary Birds so I wanted to ask.. Are you guys going to wait for the DLC to be release to get those new pokemons added on V13 or are they going to be postponed to V14? Or perhaps there will be a quick update along the lines of a V13.1 just to add them and nothing else? Things like that just made me realize how hard it can be to make a Pokemon game when GameFreaks just suddenly decides to add new Pokemons out of the blue like this..
  3. @Crimson_Mc_Black Serperior - That's a classic but I still prefer Lurantis or Malamar with Contrary, I think it fit them bette, Lurantis specially since she can learn both Leaf Storm AND Superpower (but not currently since it requires a move tutor) but the Contrary strategy is always amazing indeed Altaria - I believe Cotton Guard is the strongest defensive buff, only a few Pokemons have it so I get what you're saying, I remember back in X/Y using it on a Furfrou with Fur Coat, it was fun! Medicham - I also use Medicham! Pure Power is OP and she also learns High Jump Kick quite early too so, as long as you don't miss, she is pretty good at OHKO
  4. I would bet Wooloo being an event actually About Rookidee, I think we can get it early on actually, Skarmory is pretty strong due to it's moveset and it's base stats on top of being a single stage so he starts powerful from the beginning, Rookidee still has 2 evolutions to go through so it evens out in my opinion, it would also fit pretty well around Goldenleaf Town, yunno, being a crow and all
  5. Oh.. That sucks.. It's quite the deal breaker for me having to train EVs by beating wild pokemon to a pulp.. Guess I will sleep on the idea of continuing this or not, thanks for the answer tho'
  6. I sure hope so.. Some pokemons have INSANE ways to evolve them.. I still remember younger me trying to get a Milotic in Ruby.. Good thing GameFreak changed the method cuz godammit that was annoying, time consuming and tedious.. If you don't know you had to increase it's Beauty factor to around maximum I believe(?) and that was a mechanic for those Pokemon Contests that were removed (hence why they changed it) and the only way to increase it was feeding PokeBlocks that needed to be mixed with specific berries.. But then I look at Runerigus and even Sirfetch'd and I have the feeling they haven't learn at all.. Have you also seem Sirfetch'd?! Quoting from Bulbapedia: "It evolves from Galarian Farfetch'd after landing three critical hits in a single battle" That is so luck based.. It doesn't sound difficult but then a bunch of situations can happen, Farfetch'd is quite weak so he can get KOed, or the criticals might never appear or you might defeat your opponent before the third critical, it's so arduous and tedious.. Your best bet would be fighting something that doesn't fight back in bulks, like the infamous 6 Magikarp Trainer that only uses splash and pray that you'll land 3 criticals before defeating all of them.. It's also unfair that only the Galarian Farfetch'd got an evolution while regular Farfetch'd is still in dire need of a change.. Because you can get more than the original starter.. You can find them around the game quite easily, almost every one of them are available if you just look for them, example, Bulbasaur is acquired in a Help Center quest in Kakori Village, Tepig is found in a Rock Climb spot in Mount Valor and Liten is found in the bridge between West Gaeren and East Gaeren assuming you have the key to open the gate, those are just 3 examples but like I said, almost all of the starters are obtainable.
  7. Hi.. I usually use this forum for Pokemon Rejuvenation but since I am waiting for the V13 of that game to go out I decided to try out Reborn and I am wondering.. Is there a EV training room somewhere? If you don't know, in Rejuvenation there's this neat little rooms right in the very lab you get your starter where you fight a trainer with 6 Meltan, each giving 12 EVs on whoever room they are designated for, usually you start with only the HP and Speed room opens and you gotta get keycards to unlock the other rooms so I though Reborn would have something similar but I ain't finding it yet so I am questioning myself "Does that even exist in this game?" So that's my question.. Is there a EV training room of sorts in Reborn and where is it?
  8. Anything but "go to this place, lose this amount of HP while doing backflips with your monitor upside down while running a marathon as you press the Konami Code 10x"
  9. Gonna drop a few more to help the new people! #1 - Swoobat w/ Simple You can get a Woobat pretty early in the game and because it evolves with friendship, with a little bit of patience, you can get it's fully evolved form right away, having Simple means everytime it gets a status change it's doubled and, guess what? In Rejuvenation it learns Calm Mind around levels 20~30 (Forgot the exact one) instead of the usual Lv45 which will increase both it's Sp.Atk and Sp.Def in 2 stages due to the Ability, it's also pretty good against the first 3 gyms, Venam and Keta for obvious reasons and Marianette because her field boost damage of Psychic moves which Swoobat can fully exploit for a delicious sweep! #2 - Leavanny You're gifted a Sewaddle in route's 1 cave and like Woobat it evolves to it's final form with friendship, it isn't useful at Venam's gym tho' since it's typing is awful but it can easily get to it's final form which the cheeky method of using a Rare Candy to get past Lv20 to 21, evolve it, then use a Reverse Candy back to Lv20, Leavanny has pretty good stats overall and can be useful later on due to that, pretty fast AND strong (and it can even learn Sticky Web, look at that)! #3 - Nidoking This one is a OG good one, never fell from grace and stayed strong since the generations and with even more moves to it's arsenal, it can be even a Physical or Special Attacker which is a amazing, you can get the male Nidoran right in the beginning and since it needs a Moon Stone to evolve, you can use the cheeky method of saving before fighting the Lunatone in Amethyst Cave, capturing it and resetting if it's not holding a Moon Stone to be able to get a Nidoking right early, it sure helps against Keta and it's a force to be reckon with though out the game.
  10. I have the feeling we will be using that battleship eventually.. Or else it's just a waste of resource
  11. My favorite ship is, without a doubt, the ship from Mr. Briney from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, I am talking mostly on nostalgia tho' since Ruby was the first Pokemon game I ever beat and the one I have the most love for, beisdes, Winguls are really cute and underated and all this guy wanted was his Wingul pal back and he gives you free rides whenever you ask, what a bro! (Also he was quite the marine back in his service days)
  12. Flora doing a speech to her Grunts before the operation to take down Cassandra Flora: And you shall have the honor- no no, THE PRIVILEGE to go forth and take down the maliciously evil Cassandra and remove her from power if, for any reason, you are unsuccessful the first runner up will take their place and so on and so forth.. Some of you may die.. But it's a sacrifice I am willing to make! Grunts: [cheer] AnotherGrunt: Wait, didn't she say we may di- Flora: Let the operation BEGIN!!
  13. Flora reminds me of that Lord Farkquaad quote "Some of you may die but that's a sacrifice I am willing to make!"
  14. BTW, I am assuming Galarian Forms will also be a thing, yeah? I would love to see Jan "fix" how to evolve Yamask to Runerigus.. Have you seen the kind of crap you gotta do to evolve that thing?! Quoting from Bulbapedia: "In Galar, Yamask has a Ground/Ghost-type regional form. It evolves into Runerigus when the player travels under the stone bridge in Dusty Bowl after Yamask has lost at least 49 HP and did not faint in the same battle or since", like, what are those ridiculous conditions?! And I though back in X/Y evolving Sylveon with at least 2 hearts of Friendship while learning a Fairy-Type move was bad.. That is nothing compared to THIS!! This is so situational and lucky based.. I wanna have one in my team but with those conditions?! Yeah.. No.. Well I can't answer the first one, in the beginning of the game? Not sure.. As for the second one, yeah, some of gen8 Pokemon will probably be event ones and I am sure Jan would add gen8 pokemons to the existing old routes as well since he had done that for gen7
  15. 1. Karrina - At first I was cool with her UNTIL we find out "the truth" about her when Melia and Erin are at the Library.. Then it got even WORST when she tried to kill Karen, I mean, I get, Karen killed her parents but as Karen said herself "she was broken at the time" and yeah, through out the game you can see that something is wrong with Karen mentally and by that point she has somehow managed to get back to normal and apologize to what she done when she wasn't so, for me, Karrina should had accessed the situation a little better, it's like being mad at a person with alzheimers for forgetting your birthday or something.. 2. Nastasia and Madelis - At first I though they were your common evil villain b****es, in the beginning they are quite one dimensional so when we get to know them better things start to change, specially for Nastasia with her getting quite fond of Ren and even going rogue and teaming up with us, Madelis also clearly has something in her past biting her, as Cassandra teased her in the party and I am glad she rescue Melia when the rest of the cast was busy with something else and couldn't be of much help 3. Flora - Same case as you, in fact, in the beginning I was even starting to regret telling her secret to Florin and putting her in jail after I realized who Cassandra really is and I start to think "Oh shit.. Did I f***ed up?!" but for the same reasons you cited, sentencing her own brother to death when he himself pleaded the judge to go easy on her, blowing up her grunts just for the sake of taking down Cassandra and not telling them it's a suicide mission and mind controlling Ryland, this regret faded away and I was filled with deep hatred, I wanted her to suffer, I wanted karma to hit her HARD
  16. I guess I can relate.. I have 3000h in TF2 on Steam so using arrow keys is just.. Wrong..
  17. Jesus.. Chill.. That guy over there probably didn't meant it like that.. English isn't their first language in the first place (you can notice that from all the broken english he had spoken around), no need to be so aggressive..
  18. As far as I know, no.. Only way would be to set the controls back to the arrow keys I suppose
  19. I have the feeling that it's better to ignore that one.. Just a hunch.. And you can bet your sweet bippy I will! I was already set on restarting just to check the "new" old trainers and gym leaders using gen8 Pokemons and also finding them in the wild, the polished old content is a massive bonus for me! But like we said, let's not rush Jan, he still needs to get a full recovery, let the man work on his pace, we can wait.. Sometime ago I already lost one of my heroes to this decease, Rick May (the voice actor of Soldier from TF2, a game I have 3000h clocked on Steam and Soldier is my favorite), and it hurts like hell when I saw those news.. So I really want Jan to take it easy and get 100% healthy. @GenEric Eh, sorry about that.. We gotta police ourselves sometimes, it's easy to get caught up in the moment and forget those rules.. I apologize, even if my "theory" was just a joke one.
  20. @Alisae What does that even mean?.. What "questionable shit"?..
  21. @Jan We are all with you, man! Take your time, get plenty of rest and be safe, the entire community is behind you! You created this wonderful game that united all of us, I am being 100% SINCERE when I say that your game rekindled my love for Pokemon games, a series I had given up since X/Y previous to Rejuvenation! Prioritize your health, we can wait as long as necessary! @Dreamblitz Heh, nice one
  22. @Zetto Chandelure For that role I think a Trevenant (like I posted in my main message) is a better option due to Harvest allowing him to use Sitrus Berry multiple times, I do agree that Heat Wave is amazing at doubles tho' so it would be better to keep Chandelure at the attacker role and get something bulkier like the Trevenant for those situations, he also learns Leech Seed which you can do Leech Seed, Will'o'Wisp and Curse, once we manage to get access to the Protect TM it will make my day! Togedemary Ah yes, Togedemaru's paralyzes + flinch is just amazing, I am just sad by the fact he doesn't learn any good Steel Type moves.. You gotta make it learn Iron Tail or Iron Head in a tutor and we don't have access to U-Turn or else he would be 2x better! Meowstic Yeah DinosaurDude also said the same, Prankster overall is a good Ability, when Sableye didn't use to have any weakness he was the king of Prankster, this Ability is the whole reason people have a Pokemon with Taunt on their comp teams
  23. New Theory! In the end of the game the planet we live in explodes and Melia manages to survive by being teleported into another world by an alien race, in there she learns how to become a bounty hunter and changes her name to Samus Aran. (Since we have many theories about "Melia is X" I decided to throw my theory)
