  1. Thanks for the update Posty and the rest of the Deso crew! Looking forward to seeing more updates when they are ready to be shared :)
  2. I'm so hyped!! Can't wait! Thanks for working hard Zumi, Jan, and everyone else in the Rejuv team :D
  3. Enjoy the small break! Looking forward to seeing more updates in a few months. (Also, I would totally watch a Posty dota stream if it is advertised, I am a dota addict myself :o)
  4. Hey, I've never modded reborn/rejuv/etc., so sorry if these are kind of noob questions. 1. Is it possible for me to use only certain parts of the mod? I wanted to do a run with the 18 eeveelutions, but otherwise have a vanilla game (no custom megas/gen 8 pokemon/changed teams/etc.). If not, its alright, but ideally I would have it set up like that. 2. Can I apply this mod to only 1 save file? I have a bunch of reborn runs I want to do on vanilla, but this run and maybe one other with this mod. How would I set that up?
  5. The rest is well deserved! I'm only about half way through ep6's new content but this has been amazing! Keep up the great work everyone on the Deso team <3
  6. Great work as always rejuv team! Looking forward to playing through 13.5! Also this music SLAPS! Amazing work Zumi :)
  7. This update is so good holy crap. I love these small updates and I'm in love with the new music track and the bronzong! And as someone who just finished FE:TH last year, I'm hopeful for the new boss mechanic. Thank you as always Jan and everyone else on the team :)
  8. This update looks so amazing! I love some many things about rejuv but if I had to pick just 1 thing... I think the custom tilesets really make this game look amazing! I've recently gotten a bit into RPGmaker XP and let me tell you: You really can't do what you envision with the basic tilesets. I'm going to have to learn that in the future I guess, or find someone who wants to help me. But these screenshots look amazing! So hyped, can't wait to make a new save for 13.5!
  9. All of this artwork is amazing, I love it!
  10. I am SO glad that Crawli, Angie, Souta, and Saki are getting changes. These fights in particular are so nuts, especially Saki since you end up having to do mental gymnastics in order to figure out what's going on. ok so there is wonder room and glitch field and seed and UMD uses the... defense stat but its a special move it was just a pain honestly. I know you didn't reveal everything and I put this in my survey as well so I hope it comes up later, the main 2 other fights that need nerfs IMO is the 2 rift gardevoir fights and Hazuki. I am curious as to how Crawli's fight will work, since reading up on Swamp field it doesn't provide any real buffs to the pokemon or moves he uses. And without rain I almost wonder if it will end up being TOO easy, but we'll see. Bug types are fickle and easily fall from OP to easy. And for what it's worth: I think leaving intense to the community is the right descion. Have a balanced gameplay expierence and for the hardcore people, leave that to the community. That's how it works for desolation and reborn afaik, and they have better "balancing" than rejuv, even though I would say that the other parts of rejuv are better. The intense community is big, I'm sure they'll figure out how to make things to the general liking of their community. Zumi mentioned it is V13.5 for these changes, and passwords will be either V13.5 or V14.
  11. For the most part: It happens when it happens. The devs have stopped trying to push for a specific release schedule and are just doing what they can, when they can. Big updates generally take between 2 to 3 years, smaller updates between 9 months and 1.5 years. Thats just a generalization though, it depends on what they are adding.
  12. Jan, Zumi, thank you for the constant updates and for dealing with people that, frankly, you should NOT have to deal with. Some of this backlash is insane. I guess this is what comes with a game that is "harder than Reborn", though the post game of Reborn might have something to say about that. Know that there are plenty of lurkers, or people who don't post all that often like me, that love the game for the story, and for the challenge, and most importantly, that we trust you! I don't have enough to support on patreon unfortunately, but I refresh the rejuv dev log on almost a daily basis to look for the newest post from Jan revealing the nice new areas we get to explore in 13.5 or the new regional forms or the character art or whatever is in store. There are more of the enjoyers of the game no matter what than the people who are complaining. It's just the complainers are louder than usual since the game is so "hard core" at times. Keep up the good work, I am hyped for 13.5 and I'm sure it will be worth the wait! :)
  13. Personal take here: If the password system is being added from reborn, I think a noshield or ezboss password could be made. Make an NPC mention this somewhere around rift gyrados/galvantula/volcanion. I will still love the game regardless and I will be very excited that rift gardevoir is no longer a massive pain in my side, but for just about every other rift/boss battle besides maybe kyogre or the ones included in a 6 mon team like with clear, they felt relatively balanced to me. The opposite could also be true I guess, maybe there will be a password for reverting the bosses to the current level of difficulty. But for my opinion on the matter, I think passwords should be quality of life or making the game easier, with the exception of stuff like EV and IV maxing and limiting money.
  14. Thanks for the update Jan! Remember that pretty much all of us will enjoy the update when it comes out, so I appreciate you giving an estimate on the date but not overworking yourself! I'm also glad to hear that my suggestion on freeze/frostbite being added together is being considered, though I probably wasn't the first to mention it. I'm hyped for when the update comes!
  15. I think we should see if it actually ends up being a sidegame gimmick or not. If gen 9 actually has frostbite, then 100% it should be in the game. And if not, I think it would be interesting (although maybe unnecessary) to have both freeze and frostbite, and have certain moves apply 1 or the other. For example, ice beam and blizzard provide freeze, while a new move that is a variation of will o wisp and freeze dry provide frostbite. Just as examples. I also agree that the new way the implemented the "move reminder" should be put in the game.
  16. I've been following the poll results, up until today the results were ~59% yes and ~41% no. Just checked tonight and it seems someone got a bot to spam the results since there is a very clear majority for yes now. Just in case Jan/Zumi/Others were wondering what the results were before they got messed with.
  17. I voted yes because freeze is very good, but also extremely inconsistent. A special attack variation of burn is a better design for something that is only a small chance on moves like ice beam or blizzard IMO. Also, either officially or in just rejuvenation, it opens up the possibility of a will-o-wisp variant of frostbite.
  18. I'm getting new computer parts for my desktop PC and on top of upgrading, I'm going to do my first drive wipe since I've made the computer almost 7 years ago to help speed up the drives and get rid of a lot of innate junk. I don't have any experience with this with games that aren't saved to the cloud, which of course reborn and rejuvenation are not. If I put the folders for the games on a flash drive and put it on the drive after it's wiped clean, will it still work? I would assume so but just want to check in and make sure there isn't anything else I need to do.. Thanks.
  19. if your willing to train it up all the way to level 20, alolan ratticate helped me win this fight just for the sheer fact that it's very strong at that level range. Ekans doesn't take the damage from toxic spikes or the terrain, and glare can help with some of venam's pokemon. Also, even if they aren't optimal pokemon, try to have 6 lvl 15+ pokemon for the gym.
  20. a couple of other pokemon I really liked using and were helpful that I haven't seen posted yet (I used a static team between gym fights, but for gym fights and some other big fights I had to adapt my team to win) -Togedemaru (It's available after the 3rd gym I think), it's tanky, has nice resistances with it's steel type, has access to electric terrain, and also nuzzle. -Typhlosion as a starter is very strong once you get eruption, but is a bit weak until lava plume at about level 42. You have to work with flame wheel until then, but once you get eruption double battles are a breeze -I really enjoyed using luxray, though zebstrika might be a bit better overall. Shinx is obtainable after the first gym and intimidate and a really high attack stat and gaurnteed egg move ice fang really came in clutch many times for me. Used it in almost every gym. -Talonflame is able to be gotten earliest either before or just after the first gym and gale wings makes it very powerful -Mantine came in clutch for me multiple times with wide guard in double battles -Some early game mons that carried hard but I ditched around lvl 45: Arbok (probably still usable, but muk is better scaling), Alolan Ratticate (when I was too dumb to adapt to venam's gym, a fresh new ratticate helped me sweep it), sandslash Lastly, catch a lot of pokemon even if you dont plan on using them. I made the mistake of going for a "perfect team of 6" so I spent many hours frustrated that I was losing to the first gym with 3 pokemon. Eventually I branched out just a bit and won, but look for solid pokemon to take out the gym leader's pokemon and to take advantage of the terrain. Woobat, geodude, and spoink are good options for the first gym if you have trouble.
  21. When I was doing the 9th gym, I primarily abused defensive and offensive matchups on the secondary typings. I used fire types for togedemaru and mageneton, dark types for alolan raichu, ice types for ampharos, etc. My cacturne 1 shot alolan raichu with sucker punch and is decent stall against the rest. Also freezing the water lets you use ground moves again or just enabling strong blizzards is a good way to go as well.
  22. I'm training up some pokemon (and by some I mean over a box full T_T) of pokemon to the level cap while waiting for V13, and these are the last 2 pokemon I need that are available atm. 1. I haven't tried the other key shards, but the one in the backup xen lab I can't find for the life of me. It's not anywhere in the warpy portals or the dive spot, or the secret area as far as I can tell. When I looked for videos of people doing it, the only ones I found were like in 2016 and there was a door to the right when you come in from the entrance, and I don't have that door, it's a wall for me. Do I have to unlock this somehow, or is the shard moved? 2. Is razor fang available yet? I want a gliscor but couldn't find any information on if it is or isn't available.
