What do you mean by saving once you exit out of the game?

Okay so when you playtest, the game opens and you have access to the debug menu (when you open up the menu in game - above exit game). Click that and scroll down until you see compile data. Compiling should take some. After you’re done, it should say something along the lines of compiling completed and then you can restart (f12) and the changes you had previously made in the one should now be in the game.

Update: Found out how to compile the changes in the PBS files. You need to compile them within the debug console when you playtest. Then when you restart it, the changes should be there.

What if the idea is to cycle in some Pokémon that weren’t in the previous games and cycle out some that were in those games? So it wouldn’t be a National Dex, persay, but you just get slightly different groups of mons for each generation going forward.

It’s a script file. In the Scripts folder. I think it’s named something along the lines of Multiple Forms.

Did you edit the PBS files and it just doesn't recompile? That's what happens for me.

Has anyone successfully compiled the PBS edits?

For the dude to move, you need to go back in time and cut the pink tree in front of Sheridan. Then you return to the present and go to Route 2 and pick up the research notes in the factory in the middle of the route. Then return to the past and re-plant the tree and you can give the notes to the guy in the present. It or something else with it might be glitched though cause my game was stuck in nighttime after that. And I think the TP event got taken out.

If you don't see an extension after the PokemonParty (like a .txt or .rb), then you need to enable an option to see it. Try this. https://www.howtogeek.com/205086/beginner-how-to-make-windows-show-file-extensions/ if you're on Windows. Then you can delete the ".txt" and replace it with ".rb".
