  1. It was hinted at on the post for the first clue: “Open and you will find a clue to the path forward. A trial awaits for you to solve on the way to your goal, but speaking the answer out loud will turn your words into dust.” Also on this post: "Oh, and before I forget ‘n leave, they left me the same note as last time. Y’know... About words and answers turnin’ into dust or somethin’." So yes, my guess is that it's a hint that posting the answers will result in them deleting your post.
  2. Oh for sure. Like I said I just figured I must have missed something. The devs already gave a general time frame more than once and unfortunately missed the mark the past year of development, so I would agree that they are probably trying to be more careful on giving exact dates even when they're this close. If they do release it on the ninth though I'm more than happy to be wrong
  3. Yeah same. All I saw was a bunch of speculation like what's happening here, nothing confirming nor denying that the 9th was the release date which is why I asked. Figured if it was true I must have missed something or was looking in the wrong channel.
  4. It was? In what channel if you don't mind my asking?
  5. Surprise Pikachu face intensifies.
  6. I don't disagree, but at the same time I think we hold some responsibility for feeding the troll. I do agree that the problem poster should have been removed or warned before the thread was locked though as it seemed to me that people were at least trying to get it back on topic. I think part of the problem is topics for V13 were starting to dry up, which isn't necessarily a bad thing because v13 is practically around the corner (hopefully ) Looking at the dev blog the last thing that was posted that was discussion worthy pertaining to V13 was in January, with the post after reassuring progress is being made along with Game-z support and Mac, and the post after explained more about testing phases. To be clear I'm not blaming this on anybody, there's only so much the devs can talk about V13 without completely spoiling stuff and it's better for some things to remain a surprise, right? I'm hoping discussion can pick up again once V13 is actually released.
  7. A fair point. There are a handful of dialogue wheels and choices in the game but not a large amount Though I will say I was pleasantly surprised by the changes you see if you
  8. mmk, do you see the similarities between these two? They're basically asking the same question: branching storylines, and you received several helpful answers when you asked the first time. I legitimately don't know if you ignored them the first time (considering you responded), or you just couldn't make the correlation between the two that are asking the same question but worded differently. So let's go through a few bullet points that hopefully shines a little light on why it's more than likely not happening in this version, V13 or any version. Any Dev is free to correct me Development time - Obviously making branching storylines based on your choices can take a lot of work, especially if they cause the story to make basically a 180 turn from it's current progress. At that point you're asking the devs to almost make an entirely separate rpg just with the same battle mechanics and characters. This causes the development time for the game to become even longer which, arguably, most people don't want. I'm not sure when Version 1 and all the other versions first came out and how long it took to get to V 12, but look how long V 13 alone is taking, you're basically asking the devs to add nearly half a decade if not longer to development time depending on how extensive you're asking the branching story lines to be. I don't know about you but I expect the devs would get burned out from working on the same game for so long, especially since this game is free for people to play. The Team - This ties in to the first point. Rejuvenation has a small team, and again, they're making this game for free. As someone else pointed out it's rather unreasonable to expect the amount of work it would take for complete branching storylines with the amount of work they're putting in already. The Dev's current vision for the game - They already have an idea for where they want the story to go, In order to enhance the experience they add several side quests that compliment the main story. It's simply easier on them to make an expansive but linear storyline for the most part. Guess I'll just end this by saying the devs are working the best they can on the game (while keeping their sanity at times lol) and to make it as enjoyable as possible.
  9. Don't know if this was fixed or not and I don't remember when in the GDC arc it occurs, but at some point when you are in route 9 and try to board the train on the left(?) side, it prematurely takes you to the tournament stadium where you see an Absol standing there. You're basically stuck at this point since you can't interact with anything and you can't get back on the train to go back.
  10. I'm going to give you the benefit of a doubt and assume you've read my first response on this page when Hassan asked before. In which case point out to me where in my posts, both that one and the one you quoted, where I am being 'toxic' in my responses and I'll gladly take it under advisement. I can only assume you think one of mine were since my post is the one you quoted, followed by ending yours with demanding I "Cease this at once." In my first response, not only did I explain rationally why they haven't given a release date, but I pointed them in the right direction to at least keep up with the current progress as well as some encouragement. In my second I answered your question (that you apparently already knew the answer to) I again addressed those that have patience and even those who have already lost theirs and explained why spamming the same question isn't very endearing. If you're referring to my face palm pic, then fair enough. But even if we include that your post comes off way more confrontational or 'toxic' than any of mine did. But I digress, this next part is for the developers; if you feel I've been disruptive at all I'll take my forum warning point and offer my apologies.
  11. Because for the devs, I imagine getting asked "When is the game/patch/etc. coming out?" by who knows how many people starts to get real old real quick. For those who haven't lost their patience yet, great! They know that the devs will announce something when they have something to announce. For those who have already lost their patience, fair enough, but try not to harp on the devs for an update. Even if it's meant in jest, my guess is the devs aren't laughing when it gets to the point of becoming annoying. All of us are just as eager to hear something from them as the next person.
  12. I've had half a dozen or so playthroughs at this point, and only one of them have gone without having that Pachirisu from east gearen in my party at some point lol
  13. Np, and I didn't feel like you were targeting me specifically. I was using myself more as an example that despite people getting bummed if a feature they were hoping for isn't in the game, it shouldn't prevent them from enjoying the game for what it is. Otherwise I'm not sure why they'd be playing a pokemon game lol. And sorry if I misinterpreted your message, my confusion came from reading: When you wrote upset/sad it was hard to tell which you were leaning more towards, as I think (and I now know you feel similar) there is a difference between walking into an ice cream shop and being sad that they don't have the flavor you wanted, and obnoxiously banging your fist on the counter demanding to know why they don't have it So my bad on that. Edit: spelling
  14. I hardly think wishing there was a feature in a game is 'over the top' attitude. It's, as Zumi stated before, when players start pressuring and/or giving the devs shit about x or y feature that would fall under 'over the top' imo. Can't speak on others not being able to enjoy the game without a single feature, but I've already said that I personally was pulled into the game by the story and will continue to be even without x or y feature that I would otherwise wish/hope/would like etc. in the game.
  15. I like having the option, but I can understand. Especially since the MC in Rejuv is basically a mute. The focus is the challenge and the story, the later of which is what drew me in the first place as it takes it further than any of the official releases ever did. Not to mention expanding on the characters themselves.
  16. As someone who was hoping for a romance feature I can understand the disappointment, as it seems to be a sore topic though I'll refrain from commenting further. I will say though, it might be prudent for the devs to make a pinned topic for everyone to see explaining the why etc. and then lock it to show it's not up for debate. As this topic seems to be brought up more often than not and the dev's previous responses tends to get buried by other replies in the discussion(s). Unless there already is something like that and I'm just blind lol
  17. This . Jan and the devs already have an idea for where the story is going to go, whether or not it involves team Xen in such a capacity only they would know. However, any further deviations from their plan will only cause a longer development cycle which is arguably unnecessary. Feel free to disagree. Best anyone can do is offer criticism for story implements that are already in game, one such example that was mentioned above edited for spoilers
  18. Sorry if I'm misinterpreting this but I doubt @MhicKy was saying it's a shame that they have to go through internal testing, every game needs to do that. What's a shame is how long it could potentially take considering how long the wait for this version has been already. I think most people here have done pretty well exercising patience and understanding for this version and letting the developers do their thing, but that doesn't mean the waiting doesn't suck lol. (I don't think this needs to be said but I'm not saying this to besmirch the developers, just pointing that you can still have patience but still dislike waiting)
  19. I sincerely hope it doesn't take that long They've said that testing was already underway before it even hit 97%
  20. Every time they've given or hinted at a time frame during this version's development they weren't able to deliver. As a result of this I believe they are being more careful on choosing when to announce a concrete release date. Right now the best you're going to get is going to: https://www.rebornevo.com/rejuvdev/ and keeping tabs on the testing phase percentage every few days or so. They are aware that this version has taken longer than others, they're just asking for a little more patience as they make sure to tackle as many bugs as they can find before releasing. Maybe they'll go into more detail on why it took so long closer to release, but for now just wait a little longer. We're almost at the finish line!
