  1. I think thay Hardy might have Tyranitar as the same... However, Archeops was simply the best rock-type uproar user, to reflect the passion of Hardy for rock music while also taking profit of the cave field effect. Band Aggron is very easy to take on, while endure+custap grants the cave collapse in a more effective way, possibly taking down an opponent's pokemon and more importantly turning the field into a dragon's den. Gigalith's Smack Down is greatly justified by the Dragon's Den: it gets x2 boost, x1.5 stab x1.5 terrain effect (fire type) x1.5 for flash fire (seed) resulting in a 337base power move, that's pretty overpowered, or at least is better than the mere 100 stab stone edge (that can even miss). Smack Down is not very effective on dragon rock fight ground and water types, but she can use a curse eq (or even smack down itself on water and ground). For the dragons instead, Nature power clears the job by dealing massive damage and even koing some mons like level85 hydreigon/kingdra. The other pokemon instead are not forgotten at all: metal burst is pretty predictable by a human if used by an AI, Rampardos is outclassed by Tyrantrum, Carracosta has exploitable weaknesses and is hindered by the den, while Armaldo... well, it would be very good, but does not synergize with the strategy of the team: set up hazards, make the cave collapse, sweep. Rhyperior and Aggron serve just to this, to be honest and they look pretty good at it. The level do not follow a very systematic way, but remember that Titania had a level 90 Aegislash while the player could not get over 85 if I am right. I am so sorry for the Sirius misunderstanding, I just meant to say that it was the ultimate Sirius' team, not that he was the ultimate member of meteor. Of course Lyn is, but even Solaris is higher than him imho. I forgot to tell the name of Eclipse, I'll edit soon, it's his Chandelure. I thought it would be nice to see Chandelure named as the person it had killed by sucking in the soul (this is the link between the two characters)
  2. Hi everyone! I am starting a topic to list few battle i predict/i'd like to see in the future episodes of Pokemon Reborn (note: not all of them belong to ep18) Soooo let's start Trainer: Hardy Field effect: Cave, Dragon's Den when Cave is broken (Like Misty and Fairy tale fields in Adrienn's Gym) and can't be reverted into a cave again Aya (Nidoqueen) lv87 Leftovers Poison point Sludge Wave Icy Wind Toxic Spikes Stealth Rock Archeops lv89 Flying Gem Defeatist Acrobatics Rock Tomb Uproar Earthquake Aggron lv87 Custap Berry Rock Head Head Smash Earthquake Iron Head Endure Rhyperior lv88 Weakness Policy Solid Rock Earthquake Smack Down Stone Edge Rock Polish Tyrantrum lv90 Rockium Z Rock Head Head Smash Dragon Claw Dragon Dance Earthquake Gigalith lv91 Elemental Seed Sand Stream Earthquake Smack Down Nature Power Curse Tyranitar lv93 Tyranitarite Sand Stream Dragon Dance Earthquake Smack Down Dragon Claw I like to think that the Nidoqueen lost by Aya was given by trade ti Hardy, who uses it just because... he likes Aya. Hardy's main goal in the battle is to set up the Dragon's Den after Nidoqueen and Archeops are gone, and use the field to sweep hard Sirius (last team, in a meteor hideout) Field effect: short circuit factory Golisopod lv93 Eject Button Emergency Exit First Impression Leech Life Aqua Jet Throat Chop Sableye lv 93 Sablenite Prankster Will-O-Wisp Calm Mind Dark Pulse Shadow Ball Klinklang lv91 Shell Bell Clear Body Gear Grind Wild Charge Shift Gear Magnet Rise Seviper lv94 Leftovers Shed Skin Poison Jab Night Slash Rest Coil Magnezone lv93 Synthetic Seed Sturdy Discharge Flash Cannon Hidden Power Fire Magnet Rise Eclipse (Chandelure) lv95 Life Orb Flash Fire Flamethrower Shadow Ball Energy Ball Psychic I want to be romantic now. I'm not going to say in any way that this is gonna happen, I would just like it: I would like to see Victoria as Cal's girlfriend, and them battling you in a very friendly match just because you are friend of both (if you really are...). You fight alongside with Cain, who is also entusiastic about their relationship. You battle Cain afterwards. All this happen after Hardy's Gym and some meteor quests, a bit before battling Sapphira Victoria Cal Mienshao lv92 Kommo-o lv 93 Life Orb Kommonium Z Regenerator Soundproof Fake Out Clanging Scales U-Turn Close Combat High Jump Kick Flamethrower Knock Off Poison Jab Raichu-Alola lv91 Arcanine lv91 Focus Sash Eject Button Surge Surfer Intimidate Fake Out Extremespeed Nasty Plot Flare Blitz Psyshock Wild Charge Thunderbolt Snarl Adrienn (Togekiss) lv91 Kingdra lv91 Sitrus Berry Scope Lens Serene Grace Sniper Air Slash Focus Energy Follow Me Draco Meteor Tailwind Muddy Water Thunder Wave Ice Beam Lucario lv92 Magmortar lv92 Wise Glasses Choice Specs Justified Flame Body Calm Mind Heat Wave Aura Sphere Thunderbolt Flash Cannon Focus Blast Dark Pulse Hidden Power Ice Gallade lv93 Kiki (Medicham) lv92 Galladite Muscle Band Justified Pure Power Drain Punch Fake Out Zen Headbutt Drain Punch Knock Off Zen Headbutt Swords Dance Ice Punch Incineroar lv94 Charizard lv94 Incinium Z Charizardite Y Intimidate Blaze Darkest Lariat Heat Wave Fake Out Air Slash Flare Blitz Solar Beam Earthquake Hidden Power Ground Pretty Boy Cain (team for both doubles and singles battle). The battle with Cain happens straight after the one with Cal+Victoria with no possibility to save but healed pokemon Primarina lv93 Primarinium Z Liquid Voice Sparkling Aria Hyper Voice Moonblast Icy Wind Mimikyu lv91 Focus Sash Disguise Play Rough Shadow Sneak Drain Punch Swords Dance Muk-Alola lv91 Figy Berry Gluttony Poison Jab Knock Off Curse Recycle Meowstick-F lv92 Light Clay Competitive Psychic Shadow Ball Reflect Light Screen Marowak-Alola lv92 Thick Club Lightning Rod Flare Blitz Shadow Bone Stomping Tantrum Will-O-Wisp Nidoking lv94 Life Orb Sheer Force Sludge Bomb Earth Power Ice Beam Thunderbolt I know it is a pretty tough challenge, but not too much really. We'll never get this battle, I would just appreciate it Sapphira: Gym battle in Dragon's Den Druddigon lv90 Red Card Rough Skin Stealth Rock Outrage Gunk Shot Smack Down Noivern lv91 Elemental Seed Infiltrator Dragon Pulse Flamethrower Boomburst Air Slash Garchomp lv93 Groundium Z Rough Skin Earthquake Dragon Claw Fire Fang Stealth Rock Haxorus lv91 Lum Berry Mold Breaker Outrage Earthquake Poison Jab Dragon Dance Caroline (Charizard) lv 94 Charizardite X Blaze Flare Blitz Dragon Claw Thunder Punch Dragon Dance Dragonite lv96 Leftovers Multiscale Dragon Claw Fire Punch Dragon Dance Roost Now, let's begin with the elite four: Bennett. Bennett battles in Laura's room, so the field effect does not fit very well to his team, but he will be able to take advantage of it as well. He will challenge you in a double battle Galvantula lv95 Scizor lv95 Focus Sash Life Orb Swarm Swarm Rain Dance U-Turn Bug Buzz Knock Off Thunder Bullet Punch Sticky Web Roost Beedrill lv96 Venomoth lv95 Beedrillite Heat Rock Swarm Wonder Skin U-Turn Sludge Bomb Poison Jab Quiver Dance Drill Run Sleep Powder Knock Off Sunny Day Yanmega lv95 Volcarona lv97 Grassium Z Charti Berry Speed Boost Swarm Bug Buzz Flamethrower Solar Beam Bug Buzz Ancient Power Hidden Power Ground Protect Quiver Dance Sounds nice, right? Flower Field makes bug types nearly undestructable, but it's not hard to disrupt this strategy. However, he is just the first of elite four. He likes to shift from rain to sun, while also improving the terrain and making the field ready for his Volcarona to get in and wreck all Second elite four member: Heather (flying) Heather will challenge you on a Mountain. Also this battle will be played in doubles, while the next two elite four members will challenge the player in singles. Heather's strategy is to use tailwind to set up speed and wind, to nullify type weaknesses Charlotte (Talonflame) lv95 Minior lv95 Focus Sash White Herb Gale Wings Shields Down Tailwind Rock Slide Brave Bird Acrobatics Flare Blitz Shell Smash Heat Wave Stealth Rock Sigiliph lv95 Decidueye lv96 Life Orb Flynium Z Magic Guard Long Reach Gust Omnious Wind Icy Wind Brave Bird Psychic Leaf Blade Tailwind Nature Power Gliscor lv95 Salamence lv97 Toxic Orb Salamencite Poison Heal Intimidate Earthquake Hyper Voice Rock slide Heat Wave Substitute Earthquake Tailwind Roost Windy day, right? The team always wants to keep the wind active to boost moves and have less weaknesses, also if you don't know Gust becomes 132 base power in winds (198 with STAB) so it's pretty powerful. Some Heat Waves are in the team to prevent the opponent from abusing of blizzards to change the field to Snowy Mountain, altough it remains the best strategy to win this battle alongside with muddy water/heat wave spam. I'm pretty sure she is going to have a team like this, with Tailwind abuse, and I'm pretty sure she wont have a Noivern as it would amplify the blizzard weakness of the team and probably also Sapphira is going to have it Well we alredy have eight trainers, with the dream team I'd really like to see in play! I'll post in the next days other trainers like Laura, remaining Elite four members and many others. See ya!
  3. WOW I didn't know at all it was your birthday Ame!!!! Happy Birthday from us fans of you!!!
  4. 1: Gen3 - I LOVE most of gen3 pokemons, i have really liked the games, and my childhood is full of battle frontier challenges. but really 2: Gen5 - Hydreigon, Cryogonal, Eelektross, Escavalier, Volcarona... also, this is the first generation I have actually played competitively, attending tournaments, so it's like my first generation playing seriously 3: Gen1 - Bulbasaur is my favourite starter, Leaf Green was my first game, I like so much Blue and I am a nostalgic. What else? it is awesome 4: Gen7 - You wont probably expect so high gen7 but it had introduced my favourite pokemon ever: Silvally. He is my true love. Yes, I also like Guzma 5: Gen4 - Don't tell me it's too low, I like gen4! I like cynthia, chompy, Cyrus, and everything else. I just like others more 6: Gen2 - Again, I LOVE gen 2. So sorry for putting it low... but I have liked so much playing it. However, less than gen4 7: Gen6 - Self-explainatory, right? There is only one thing I like of it and its name is Aegislash. Oh sorry I also love Chestnaught
  5. Ciao Pisy benvenuto a Reborn City! Sempre bello trovare un italiano online, spero che ti troverai bene qui!!! Io invece sono Lorenzo, di Roma (for the others: I was greeting pisy in italian)
  6. It you want, I could give you a very nice Idea! You could use a pokemon with the move grassy terrain, like a roserade, and a salazzle with both heat wave and sludge wave according to the situations and the teams. This kind of strategy works better in doubles. Also, Gastrodon benefits of the blazing field using aqua ring and leftovers, also recover and muddy water are mandatory. Blazing field wont damage Aqua ring gastrodon who will recover 1/8 hp every turn and the oppo will lose much more while in corrosive field Muddy Water will be super effective aganist grass types. As a starter, blastoise is very good at interacting with terrains, he has acces to mist which can be toxiced by a poison gas or clear smog user, like Salazzle or Gastrodon, then Salazzle can both sweep with boosted fire and boosted corrosion (flamethrower deals ×2.25 damage in that field, that's quite impressive) and blow things up like a bulky swagsire with a suicide heat wave. Misty Terrain itself, instead, boosts aqua ring's effect as well as clear smog's base power (if you want to toxic the mist) and Roserade's Magical Leaf (but is prefered to set up the grassy terrain, this is pretty situational) but more importantly there is a pokemon who becomes really overpowered in misty field and corrosive mist: Palossand. With Amnesia Shore up and a decent natural bulk Palossand can become a real monster. He gets huge defenses and he can freely sweep, maybe a weakness policy might be useful. As a last slot, you might choose an interesting pokemon: Porygon2. A Porygon2 holding an eviolite can set up trick room and a glitch field pretty easly by using conversion and conversion 2. Amnesia Palossand and Nasty Plot Salazzle get incredible in the field. This strategy works better in doubles. Last thing to not forget, Roserade is incredible in the corrosive field thanks to boosted sludge bomb amd perfect accuracy sleep powder, but if you just want to use grassy terrain without altering it you can spam growth to eventually get a sweep. Soooo, this team is pretty nice and interacts with exactly... six different terrains if I counted well. There is no swamp field, nore inverse field but it is nice as the same, right? Try it and let me know if you have fun with it!!!!!
  7. well... let's start from the simplest ones Julia, Shade, Aya, Radomus, Luna, Adrienn were too simple, really Charlotte, Terra and Amaria could be hard, but I had a trump card: Gastrodon. Storm Drain sludge wave was hard counter for Amaria, Storm Drain wass good aganist SWAGSIRE by succesfully pp-stalling and for Charlotte... well, muddy water spam was pretty impressive to be honest Samson and Ciel could be tough too, but I had a quiver dancer and it made the job incredibly easy Corey, Shelly, Kiki were interesting and made me reason, I had to make good choices and have a strategy, especially for Shelly, Nothing too big, however Noel was not really easy due to it's stallish Clefable, but pp-stalling him was not hard and I defeated him itemless thanks to recover Gastrodon and Struggle Bug Larvesta Titania was pretty hard, of course an interesting fight, but I had a nice team with Silvally and Volcarona, so there's no steel that can handle them Florinia and Serra were hell. Serra was just a lucky girl, I mean it was her strategy, while Florinia had her immortal Cradily I was phisically unable to kill. In both cdases I had to take out of the pc my level 9 Trubbish and manage to get a couple free turns to set the toxic spikes before Cradily or Froslass and Jynx
  8. Hi Miight!!! Don't worry about us, we are just a lovely community and we always treat newcomers very well! For the language... I'm not a native english speaker either ahahah but many of us are not. For the script instead i don't really know where you can post your problem but there should be plenty of threads about it
  9. Enjoy your stay here!!! Remember Volcarona among the speed boosting pokemon, when he evolves he clears the game alone. Also, you can stall with many pokemon as stall is the MOST STYLISH playstyle EHM NOTHING
  10. Ahahahahah thank you, probably both but mostly a madman. Don't blame Silvally-Grass, he was a pretty good counter for Garchomp, Metamence, Kartana, and so many others. Wolfe glick had Politoed, Magnezone, Salamence and Tapu Bulu, all of them lost to my Silvally-Grass, mixed with multi attack flamethrower ice beam and protect. It has been a very fun match, especially since the game 2 ended up with a milotic/porygon2 stall I could win
  11. The best electric type is... The best steel type is... Complete the sentences with the words below Silvally Silvally Just kidding, but I love his event and it would be great to see something similar for legendaries or pseudo-legendaries too
  12. Lorisaur

    Jangmo-o

Remember that if you want you can even find a Dragonium Z in this game! (Don't want to make spoilers about the location) However, also Dragonite, Salamence and Hydreigon are sadly not in the game yet.
  13. Of course breeding is the best idea, but keep in mind that Riolu is a baby pokemon: Riolu and Lucario are the only existing evolution line without a basic pokemon. This means that Riolu, being a baby pokemon, cannot breed
  14. Metagross Steelium Z Silvally-Grass Leftovers Milotic Alolan Marowak Thic Club Tapu Lele Life Orb Aerodactyl Focus Sash This is not a team from a playthrough, it's the team I've used in London Internationals vgc2017 defeating wolfe glick :3
  15. It's quite sad that online league has been removed, it sounded fun... but i'm happy that ep18 has much more story
  16. Once upon a time, there were four people who had incredible qualities: they had accomplished absolute perfection, one of them found the absolute love, one of them reached the wisdom and got in direct contact with Reshiram and Zekrom, one of them had thaumaturgical powers and one of them had found the perfect balance in her life: they were respectively the ruby, sapphire, emerald and amethyst soul. They had also received a jewel rapresenting their qualities from people that stimulated them. Those souls were Corey, Amaria, Lyn and Kiki. Reborn City would have always been safe and protected if the souls were alive Once upon a time, there was a team called Meteor. They didn't know this story at all, but a man, called ZEL, knew about the existance of Lyn. He needed her, as the Lumi part of his being was dying and all the three parts would have died. He found Lyn without letting anyone in the team know it, and tried his last hope to get healed... but Lyn was not a magician, she could not cure Lumi anymore. In his desperation, ZEL created the PULSE machine N.0: PULSE Ditto. Ditto would have created a much stronger version of Lyn, able to heal ZEL once for all, and it worked pretty well to be honest but... maybe it was a defect of the machine, maybe of the Ditto, but once it acquired knowledge, the fake Lyn prisoned the true one and, making use of her aplified strenght, forced ZEL to make her the chief of team Meteor. Even Solaris feared her. Her goal is to use the team to obtain the four jewels: with them, she will gain access to the full power of Arceus, or maybe something more. This break in the balance of the souls made the four die, but an emissary from the underworld was able to save two of them, so that reborn city would not have collapsed, two more perfect souls have to be found as soon as possible. The best candidates for now might be Victoria and Hardy, or Cain, but... who knows? What is important is that Reborn City has to never be without the protecting souls and the protecting Jewels. However, until Lyn lives, the fake Lyn cannot die. Her soul will always be shared with the true one What do you think about it? Let me know!!!
  17. I have personally found Aya very easy to beat like Shelly Radomus Charlotte and Amaria, give me doubles and for me it's much easier. Also, I've found Samson so easy to clear but I had a quiver dancing Volcarona, so it's not to be considered. Not that Kiki was so hard, however. Victoria gave me much more trouble, paradoxally
  18. A couple questions: 1) How can a user become an ace member? 2) Will ep18 implement more story? Something like... defeating pulse mr. Mime and accessing calcedon?
  19. Just to know guys... how many are the VGC players in this community? I mainly am a doubles player (like Master Radomus :3) and I'd like to know if I'm alone or also others play competitively
  20. HEEEEEEEY YOUR ARE CUTE!! (no... I should pick another character to greet people) Enjoy your stay here!
  21. HYPE!! The platform to play is pokemon reborn right? field rules?
  22. 2/10 looks like you have no pic but "S" is a beautiful letter
  23. I think you might use Aggron or Ampharos if their megas are available, and last member must be Blaziken if you love him
  24. Welcome to a new hard world. Enjoy your stay here [...]. So press one of the buttons and read the sign (Please ONE PERSON at least has to recognise the quote)
  25. Thank you!! I've always tried to avoid using phone or pc before sleeping, I have started reading before bed several months ago It's sad to say that I don't sleep but I'm super tired, and it's weird. I'll try to study before bed or something like that
