To be honest, F-tilt looks the same as villager, but just with a different item. Same for downsmash. The side and down b are the only true differences, but also down b has its similarities. She is more unique than Richter, but less than Chrom in my opinion. I would have made her an echo honestly, her attacks have different properties but the basics are from Villager. However, if she has very different Fair and Bair she deserves her own slot as a character Dark Bowser echo would be absolutely awesome, but I'm happy with less too (like dry bowser). Incineroar would be a nice character, but a bit too obvious while Decidueye is better for pokken than he is for smash. Golisopod would have a good set of moves. As for Sylux and Rundas... I'm just a HUGE metroid fan, I would love a cast with even 20 metroid characters ahahah

Oh god, you have strong leveled pokemon, the battle should be easy Just kill the marowak, teach your charizard will o wisp, burn muk or mimikyu, focus shelly's team and take care of Cain afterwards As for ????? and ???????, defeat ????? first and let the Clefable stay there useless until you are in a 2v1 scenario. Don't let your metagross die. When you are facing ???? In the 1v1 battle use the last pokemon of ???? To revive all dead pokemon. You will use full restores before third battle automatically but not revives so you should do during the end of previous battle

I was pretty hyped for the Devon Puzzle as Marcello said that he couldn't solve it and neither could Ame. My idea was to figure out a solution on paper first and complete it in game afterwards. I'm a silly person or at least I paied too little attention as I did not read the words "exept the center" in the rules. This means I have been thinking at least an hour about how to make two magical squares with two different centers. Usually that should be impossible, but bringing more than one number to one side and vice versa could maybe be a solution. After a bit of reasoning I understood that the centers HAD to be 4 and 6, but I found no real solution: number 9 had to both be on the square 4 and not on 6, this means that also both numbers 2 had to be by the side of 4. On the other hand, 1 and 8 had to be on square 6. The numbers left were the 3s one 4 one 6 the 7s and the 5s. My idea was to use the 5s on the two different squares and complete them with the opposite centre number (like 5 4 6 and 5 6 4). The 3 and 7 caused a bit of trouble as the 7 HAD to be on 4 side because on the 6 side could be completed only by the 2, that were on side 4. This means that 3s had to be on side 3, but 3 + 6 left space for another 6 that was on the opposite square. I felt I was close, but I wasn't. After a while I realized I could have both 5s in the center and from there it was EXTREMELY easy, it took me skmethung like 3 minutes to figure out the solution on paper and at least 15 or just a bit more to realize it on the in-game puzzle. Now, after a couple days I was thinking... was it math possible to complete the puzzle as I was thinking of or it was just... not possible at all?

I would NEVER do it. NEVER. But that's ok... it ended bad nowever

I COULD but I'm not at home these days. I can give you tomorrow evening, if you don't find anyone else

I actually don't like her so much... I would have appreciated othe smash characters like Dry Bowser, GolisoGod, Sylux, and so on

Silvally was an idea as it is artificially crafted like probably her. Also, his draco meteors are pretty damn good in the terrain. The new world field is one of the main reasons I think she will have many dark types As for the Hydreigon in stead it might have both pulse2 if it is an item and (most probably) a Darkinium Z as we know that Meteor has it ans New World Field boosts Dark Pulse Z-move to 1440 base power. It probably ohkoes even a fight/dark/fairy type with ease

Thank you, I didn't know at all she was a dragon leader. However, she might even be something like a "boss rush" of other people's team. I see her with a Solaris' pokemon, one of Ame, one of Sapphira, one of Sirius/Taka according to the route, one of ZEL, and so on. That would be nice, too

Where can we find the % scoreboard

Very well... we all know Lin has an Hydreigon but which pokemon will she use in battle? I'm gonna show a couple reasons WHY some pokemon can or cannot be in her team, than try to cut the possible members until we get the final 5 teammates for the best Hydre. We don't know yet if she is a Dark monotype or not, so I can try to think about both options 1) Unbrindled power. No doubt, all of her pokemon will respect this rule, unless they have other strong reasons to be in her team. Hydreigon is emblematic of Lin's words, but also other pokemon might be good and we are talking about Machamp, Gyarados, Houndoom, Tyranitar, Salamence, Garchomp, Magmortar, Giratina, Darkrai (we aren't even sure that she has no legendaries), Haxorus, Yveltal, Hoopa, Silvally and most of the ultra beasts 2) Cruelty and mercilessness. She can also use pokemon that show absolute no mercy for their prey. These pokemon are Crobat, Sharpedo, Drapion, Weavile, Toxapex, Salazzle and most ubs again 3) Death. The unstable bound between death and life is a recurrent topic in Lin's scenes. She might also have pokemon related to death like Absol, Spiritomb, Dusknoir or Cofagrigus. To be honest, I'm pretty sure she is going to use one of Spiritomb and Absol, as Absol would recall the one you always meet during your journey 4) Joking. We've seen in ep18 the bizzarre sense of humor Lin shows. She likes to joke on human being, finds funny human weaknesses. There are some pokemon like Gengar that show similar features 5) Ame's pokemon. Lin has taken Ame's pomemon and it is very likely that she will use someone like her Alolan Ninetales, as she did in once upon a waste of time 6) The theme of double. Probably Lin is not "the true Lin" and might have pokemon to show this to the player. Ditto, Mew, Mewtwo and Mimikyu would be very good for this 7) Arc-pulse. Do you think she will have it or El will? And now, let's limit the pokemon 1) Competitive viability. Lin WILL have the best pokemon out there. She wont waste time with Butterfrees, she goes straight to the Volcarona of the situation. This allows us to cut out Machamp, Ditto, Crobat, Houndoom, Sharpedo, Drapion, Cofagrigus, Haxorus and some ultra beasts like the poor Guzzlord 2) Behaviour. Lin's pokemon must be cruel and strong, the only humor allowed is to make fun of the whole human being. This allows us again to cut away Mew, Alolan Ninetales, Mimikyu. I know she used Ninetales aganist the player, but she wasn't serious at all, she wanted to lose. With her Hydreigon she would have been discovered, with some other pokemons she would have spoiled the player some pokemon she used. By only having a Ninetales (with some common candies, probably) she wouldn't have given any hints to the player about her true team 3) Originality. She wont use pokemon that make players think of other characters. I'm talking about regular Gyarados, Salamence, Garchomp, Mewtwo and maybe Magmortar. I don't think Tyranitar and Gengar count, as Luna Solaris and Shade don't yse them as main pokemon 4) field abuse. Remember that the new world field has strong effects in a match, and probably Lin will use pokemon that take good use of it. We are probably going to see strong dark type attackers as well as levitating pokemon and space moves spammers. It's sad, but Toxapex Salazzle and Dusknoir leave us today Now we can finally try to figure out her team with and without legends. I think she will MOSTLY have dark types, but not only. A bit like Victoria's fighting or Cal's fire types Gengar, Silvally/Celesteela, MGyarados, Darkinium-Z Absol/Spiritomb/Darkrai/Yveltal/Hoopa-U, Arc-pulse Arceus, Pulse2-Hydreigon This is my call for Lin's team and I think she will have legends. What do you think? Do you have better ideas?

Wide Guard Araquanid allowed me to EASILY defeat Hardy below level 80. Man, 20 levels below the Lycanroc. However, I'm a vgc player and I'm used to know how wude guard counters this silly use of rock slide

With such pokemons the run should be preatty easy. First of all, you might want to teach will o' wisp instead of dragon pulse on your charizard. He should be a solid lead together with a pokemon able to ohko Marowak after a heat wave chip damage like Gyarados. He will be likely to send in mimikyu, but you want to switch Gyara out and send in Tyranitar and burn the Mimikyu. Sand will kill Ribombee. Now, you can easily focus shelly attacking with one of Charizard and Tyranitar and healing with the other pokemon. You may even run a roost charizard to save healing items but I'm not sure you have to After having defeated Shelly you just have to kill Cain in a 2v1 battle that should be really easy after a bit of practice As for Luna, Weavile should be easy with Charizard in your lead bit i recognise you can flinch. That would be sad. However, you really have good pokemon so with Tyranitar and Gyarados you should be able to sweep all of her team. Also, you can spam intimidate to lower Honchkrow attacking power. I wouldn't suggest you to send Tyranitar in face of the mismagius, let another pokemon take the critical hit. You might send Garchomp and suddenly switch to Metagross who will resist well a critical dazzling gleam, than send again Tytar The final battle should be extremely easy as Clefable is almost useless: focus Serra first, than sweep radomus' team afterwards. Metagross is key in this third game. You should send in Tyranitar at turn 1 to prevent alolan ninetales from setting up the aurora veil that might be a bit nasty. Be ware of the freeze-dry, too. A last suggestion, save one of garchomp and charizard for the metagross and leave alive your Metagross as he is your best out for the Mega Gardevoir

Oh... that's sad, I didn't expect it

Read this spoiler only if you want to see a thing I've discovered via debug menu at your own risk

The whole gauntlet loses to Araquanid + Chandelure. For shelly and cain, you have to kill marowak burn mimikyu set up a trick room and kill shelly first For luna, Araquanid counters at least a half of her team or even more Finally for the last two, you have to set ip trick room and kill the... ice opponent first, if you don't know who is it yet

I'm pretty sure we will visit it. Ame never creates something to leave it uncompleated. We all know that where is labradorra, but no one actually knows where we'll find the pokemon league. It's very likely to be there imho as there are not many places in the region we haven't visited yet. I've also seen a couple things using the debug menu but i wont tell here and it's not something really useful, either

I remember to have found Mareanie, but I somehow don't find him in my box and I don't remember where it was. Maybe a sort of cave?

Online username: Lorisaur Timezone: gmt +1 Availability: most days during afternoon, pm me and check if I'm online Formats: both random field effect and gym battles. For a gym battle I will tell you my type before the game but I will choose the field effect
-
I don't think we actually have a Gym leader system anymore here in reborn, but I have an idea, probably. If you want to battle my gyms you have to pm me and we settle up the pokemon battle These are the rules: I will tell you my type before the battle, but not the field effect (altough you might figure it out on your own). Both players will be able to use the mega/Z ring but there are no OU clauses (exept for species clause). The allowed pokemon are NOT the OU pokemons but the VGC ones. Additionally, both players may use a not obtainable yet pokemon, but only one (and it has to respect previous rules) I must only play pokemon of my type, but exceptions are allowed like Noel's Clefable. Only one exeption per team, however. After victory I will gift you something special, like mega stones, shinies, or whatever. We can agree on that. If I win, I can keep a victory count or something like that. Rewards increase as you get more badges To challenge me, as I said, you just have to pm me and we can agree about hours and set up something. I hope you might enjoy this!

I was WAY underleveled but I had an easy way to do it My lead was Araquanid Chandelure. By turn 1 I set up an aqua ring and kill Marowak with Chandelure by outspeeding it. Then Mimi always came in. He could deal 80% to Chande with shadow claw withlut crit, Araquanid could send to sash Ribombee and Chandelure could set up a wow. After the burn, Mimikyu always prefered to use Thunder dealing very little damage to both of my pokemon. And now, let's go rampage. Turn 3: Ribombee and Mimi try to attack but deal little damage, while Araquanid kills Ribombee and Chandelure uses trick room. All of Shelly's pokemon died to fthrower even in light screen as I was modest charcoal, exept for Volcarona who died to liquidation. The not attacking pokemon could use healing items instead. Usually her last pokemon was Scolipede and he was the only one I had to kill out of the trick room. To do so, I could send in Wide lens Noivern on the last trick room turn. After Shelly was defeated, it was extremely easy to kill Cain, with Primarina and Muk being the only threats of his team. I had Chestnaught Silvally-electric and mega Beedrill as other pokemon Luna was also quite easy; my araquanid lead served to kill Weavile as he was the only one who could do it (maybe also Silvally, but he could flinch) Absol swept my team on my first run as it outspeeded jolly Beedrill but I than discovered that Chestnaught could resist a Play Rough and kill with brick break + spiky shield damage I could kill umbreon by leech seeding, using super fang roost Noivern and having a couple antidotes. I also had used a cotton candy to revive a dead pokemon. Third game with a similar strategy: fthrower aqua ring, twave aurora veil. Dazzling freeze dry, liquidation trick room. Than heal + kill until Serra was defeated and easy take on Radomus. Metagross was slower than Chandelure and Mega Beedrill OHKOed MGardevoir by poison jabbing. I was less than level80, but Chandelure and Araquanid gained like 5 levels in those fights

Thank you so much!!!

It is possible to build a pokemon game WITHOUT randomness and I once did it with a friend on paper. Now I'm tired, but I'll edit the post in few days to explain all details. It was fun to play to be honest, but it was not really pokemon as we know it. However, it was completely NOT random exept for one single thing: speed ties.

Thank you so much, the debug menu is so useful!

You have a nicd team, but i would take away that Gardevoir. She does not add anything to your team. I would also consider playing grassy terrain Roserade, to play around field effects. However, what's important is that you add Salamence to your team as an answer to ground types and most importantly as an intimidate support
