It is almost end of my first semester and I......finally realized why people said College is hard, I almost cannot keep up with my assignments and the presentation....oh the presentation, I am very bad at speaking in front of a crowd and having to do
this a few times a month is making me wanting to rip my hair out. Also I need to find a few part time jobs in my next semester to get some cashI am really grateful I don't have to pay rentand having my aunt grilling me about how I need to be independent for 24/7 is really....tiring like God I wish I could sleep for a long time right now and playing games feels more like a chore instead of relaxing like it was used to be. I don't know why...but I feel really lazy to even studying now,the only reason I still make an effort to get good grades is because I would be kicked out of my house and I rather sleep in a bed instead of a park bench thank you very much. I was wondering if anybody has gone through this before and I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can give me some advice for survivingthis hellholeCollege.ps: I like my new profile picture thanks Zumi :3

My schedule is completely different than yours, most of my classes are in the afternoon so I mostly use my morning to do my daily chores and if I have extra time I can do some part of my assignment and after class I went to my aunt's shop to help out while at the same time do assignments and after 7pm I went back home to do some more chores and do my assignments.....until it's time to sleep and I MIGHT.......have lost track of time until I see my clock. And the reason why I use 80 percent of my day to do assignments is because ALL of them only has one week deadline and if the teacher feels like torturing us,few homeworks a day so yeah...no time to prepare.
I'm only in my first semester so I don't know how exam works, hopefully I have studied just enough to get an average score or if I want to make myself suffer an A- or something idc.
But thanks for sharing your schedule with me BTW,I might take some of your advice if I have more breathing room next semester.

I was in that same position three weeks ago. I somehow lived through my first year of college (Two semesters) and I did well in half of the courses I took. The others....I'd rather not dwell on those. Essays, exams and finals, other kinds of work, a presentation....I somehow lived through those and now I've been laying down for the past few weeks. I've been playing games (finaaalllly) , drawing, cooking, and looking for a part time job myself~ But getting the job is what I need most now and I just don't have the luck since I haven't gotten any to those that I applied to. I just keep trying..
One thing I suggest is setting your own standards (but not standards below the standards of your college) and organizing everything you need to accomplish in a week. For example, use a calendar (reminder app works too) to label your priorities. That way, you know to worry about what's recent, especially whar you're doing today and tomorrow. But on a day of an exam, don't even worry about what you're going to do in a few days or so, focus only on that day for that exam. In that regard, I seriously suggest getting ahead when you can so you don't cram for exams. I seriously wish I took this advice last semester because 1) I didn't and 2) if I did, things wouldn't have ended that badly. Again, I reiterate for you organize your time in college. But above all, please don't go crazy; Live your life; Have fun~
Ah, so I'm shamelessly tagging in two berry kind-hearted people that helped me so that they could help you in anyway. @Candy @Dragoknight
