      I don’t know if you remember the first episode of my fiction. The Matt I mentioned in it is supposed to be the same Matt who trapped Flannery in the manga. There was actually a chapter in which Flannery and Sapphire (Manga version of May) were both lured and made prisoners by Team Aqua in the cable car leading to Mt. Chimney. Matt then used one of his Pokemon (Azumarill) to fill it up with water by ordering it to use Hydro Pump. The 10th episode of TTOAF includes a direct reference to this incident. This kinda disturbed me the first time I found it out 😞
